Iggy Azalea's new single titled "Azillion" didn't take off, at least not to her label's satisfaction, so Virgin EMI told her there won't be a music video shot for it.
That angered the "Fancy" rapper enough that she aired her feelings out via Twitter and accused the label's President, Ted Cockle, of trying to hold her career back.
"Bad news update:my record label Virgin/EMI seems to feel the response to my viral record "zillon" wasnt good enough & im not allowed a video," she wrote on the social networking site. "I felt like it was dope so, whatever. ted cockle doesnt wanna see me shine. what can i say. They expect me to find a pop star to wack onto a radio friendly song with me rapping the verses. That’s what THEY want. It’s Cockle’s fault.”
Azalea went on to say that she wants to switch to Def Jam, which also falls under the Universal Music Group umbrella, but is being blocked by Cockle.
"im trying to switch to just Def Jam but cockle is making it hard," she continued.
Some of the tweets have since been deleted, but you can check out the rest and the song "Azillion" below.
Iggy might want to rethink this strategy. Throwing shots at the person who is in control of your career could backfire.
What do you think of "Azillion?"

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson knows what it's like to lose a belt. He also knows that you can't let a setback keep you from getting back in there to reclaim what you believe is yours.
Ronda Rousey has reportedly been in a funk since suffering her first loss and the Women's Bantamweight Championship, when she was knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November.
During his appearance this week on the Conan O'Brien show, Iron Mike, offered Ronda a bit of advice.
"She has to understand, we’re in the hurt business," Tyson said. "I don’t care if you’re the king of the hurt business, we’re in the business where we get hurt. And um, she’s just gotta be seen, come out of the house. I see she’s been around, show your face. You’re human. She’s just unfortunate that she’s a Goliath. David is a great king, he’s done great things. He built the civilization. But he’s more famous for beating Goliath."

Will Smith sat down with ABC's "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts on Thursday, January 21, to weigh in on the growing Oscar Awards controversy over the lack of diversity among nominees.
"When I see this list of nominations that come out, everybody is fantastic. And that's the complexity of this issue," Smith told Roberts. "Everyone is beautiful and deserving and it's fantastic. But it feels like it's going the wrong direction. When I look at it, the nominations reflect the Academy. The Academy reflects the industry, reflects Hollywood. And the industry reflects America. Reflects a series of challenges that we are having in our country at the moment. There's a regressive slide towards separatism. Towards racial and religious disharmony."
Smith, who many felt should have been nominated for his role in "Concussion," said he will join his wife, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and boycott this year's Oscars.
"My wife's not going. It would be awkward for me to show up with Charlize (Theron)," he added. "We've discussed it, but at this current time, we're uncomfortable to stand there and say this is OK."

The backlash from African Americans over Stacy Dash's call to get rid of BET, the BET Awards and Black History Month continues to grow.
As we previously reported, Dash appeared on Fox's "Outnumbered" Wednesday, January 20, and offered her opinion on Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett-Smith's statements that they would not be attending the 2016 Oscar Awards because of the lack of recognition for people of color.
"I think it's ridiculous," she said. "Because we have to make up our minds, either we want to have segregation or integration. If we don’t want segregation then we need to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you are only awarded if you are black. If it were the other way around, we would be up in arms, its a double standard. Just like there shouldn't be a Black History Month. We're Americans, period. That's it"
Houston rapper Bun B responded via his Instagram page.
“You’re black,” Bun said a caption of a now deleted photo.”Hating yourself and us won’t make them love you.”

UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor is still seething over Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s comments that race has helped him achieve stardom faster than he would have if he wasn't white.
During a media conference call for McGregor's upcoming bout at UFC 197 on March 5, for Rafael dos Anjos' lightweight title, the Irish fighter was asked about Mayweather's opinion.
“I think Floyd needs to learn before he opens his mouth,” McGregor said. “You don’t put a man like me in a situation like that. You are putting me in a name that has got to do with prejudice when you don’t know nothing about me. I am a multi-cultural individual. I take from all cultures. I am a product of many cultures as a young Irish man. I know he wasn’t saying I am (racist), but he was putting me in that bracket. I didn’t appreciate that one bit. There’s people buried in the desert for less than that. Floyd needs to understand before he speaks who he is speaking about, and that is that.”
As we previously reported, this beef began when Mayweather spoke to Fighthype earlier this month when the subject of McGregor and Ronda Rousey's rapid ascension to stardom came up.
The former boxing champion believes racial bias still exists in combat sports and played a part in the two UFC fighter's success.
"Ronda Rousey, you know, I think she fought somewhere like 11 or 12 fights, which is not a bad thing. Laila Ali went undefeated and was dominating too. After Ronda Rousey fought I think 9, 10, 11 fights, it didn't even take that long, she got all types of endorsements, movies and everything," Mayweather said at the time. "Laila Ali did the same thing in better fashion. Ronda Rousey, she's a good looking woman when she put it on. Laila Ali is a drop-dead gorgeous woman; I mean a naturally beautiful woman and can kick ass, but you never heard them [the media] saying when she had I think somewhere around 10, 11, 12 fights that she was the baddest woman to ever fight on the planet. And what's so crazy, I don't really know the McGregor guy; never seen him fight. I heard his name actually from one of the runners that works for our company; a little kid named Ken Hopkins, he's a runner and takes care of a lot of the daily business. Whatever we need, he takes care of. He's a cool little kid, I like him, and he does MMA. He told me about the guy McGregor. They say he talk a lot of trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I'm cocky and arrogant. So biased! Like I said before, all I'm saying is this, I ain't racist at all, but I'm telling you racism still exists."
McGregor responded with a lengthy post on his Facebook page, challenging Mayweather fo a fight.
"Floyd Mayweather, don't ever bring race into my success again. I am an Irishman. My people have been oppressed our entire existence. And still very much are. I understand the feeling of prejudice. It is a feeling that is deep in my blood," McGregor wrote. "In my family's long history of warfare there was a time where just having the name 'McGregor' was punishable by death. Do not ever put me in a bracket like this again. If you want we can organize a fight no problem. I will give you a fair 80/20 split purse in my favor seen as your last fight bombed at every area of revenue. At 27 years of age I now hold the key to this game. The game answers to me now."
What's your take on this beef and McGregor's latest comments?

Stacy Dash has never been afraid to voice her opinion, whether it's controversial or not. This morning on Fox News' "Outnumbered" she may have outdone herself and alienated a lot of people of color in the process.
When asked about Spike Lee and Jada Pinkett Smith's comments about not attending this year's Oscar Awards because of the lack of diversity among the nominees, Dash had a lot to say.
That's it"
Dash was far from done.
"What I find astounding is that we've had a President, who is black in office for the past eight years. Who gets most of his funding from the liberal elite in Hollywood. Yet there are not very many roles for people of color," Dash continued. "How can that be? And why is it just now being addressed?"
She later took to her Twitter account to give herself a pat on the back.

Mos Def aka Yasiin Bey will have to stand trial on March 8, 2016 in Cape Town, South Africa for allegedly being in the country illegally and trying to leave using a "World Passport," which is not recognized there.
As we previously reported, Bey, real name Dante Smith, was initially arrested Thursday, January 14, at South Africa's Cape Town International Airport.
He was released from jail after posting 5000 rand ($295) bail.
On Wednesday, January 20, Home Affairs Director, General Mkuseli Apleni, released a statement detailing the charges Bey is facing.
Full statement on the arrest of Mosdef https://t.co/JljaoN1359
— Home Affairs (@HomeAffairsSA) January 20, 2016
He faces charges for contravening the Immigration Act,13 of 2002, as follows:
a) Section 49(14) of the Immigration Act: Misrepresentation made by Mr Smith (using a false identity).
b) Section 49(15) of the Immigration Act: Presentation of a document not issued by a lawful authority.
c) Section 49(2) read with Section 42 of the Immigration Act: Aiding and abetting his family to stay illegally in South Africa.
The rapper's family has been ordered to leave the country by January 29.
Bey released a statement via a freestyle posted on http://www.kanyewest.com/ titled "No More Parties in S.A."
"I don't need to stay/I'll leave and I'll stay away/I commited no crime any place/Why these police up in my face?/Why they raiding my place?/Why I don't feel safe?/This is not an expression of fear/This is just to make things clear," he rapped.
Bey later says he will release one more album this year. After that he is walking away from both the music and film industries.
Read more of General Mkuseli Apleni's statement on why Bey was charged below.
Ladies and gentlemen, good morning! Thank you for coming over at such short notice.
It is very important to clarify issues in time. If not, people may not understand how certain matters are being handled, especially where the law is concerned. In this case, the matter we want to explain is the arrest of United States (US) musician and actor, Mr Dante Terrell Smith, also known as Mos Def and/or Yasiin Bey.
You are aware that Mr Smith was arrested in Cape Town when he tried to leave South Africa on a World Government of World Citizens passport. This was along with his spouse also a US national (with a US passport) and a minor (also on a US passport).
The major problem why he could not get on the Ethiopian flight was the document he produced at the immigration counter, the World Passport, which South Africa does not recognise. Immigration officers had also detected that his spouse and minor child had overstayed their visit to the Republic. Their visitors’ visas had expired in April 2014, and were therefore in the country illegally.
This must be clear, we have no reason,as a country, to refuse anybody entry or departure, as long as such travel is legal. Mr Smith himself has been a frequent visitor to South Africa since 2013. His first visit to South Africa was on 02 June 2013. He has entered South Africa ten times, and has always entered the country on a visitor’s visa (90 days exemption) using a US Passport, not a World Passport.
His last arrival in South Africa was on 30 November 2015, on a visitor’s passport, with his allocated 90 days to expire on 28 February 2016, after which, he attempted to leave the Republic in January using another document, and not his US passport with which he had initially entered the Republic.
We are guided by the Immigration Regulations. Regulation 2(4) lists the international, regional or sub-regional organisations whose documents we recognise, namely:
a) The United Nations, excluding its agencies, except for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
b) The African Union
c) The Southern African Development Community, and
d) The African Development Bank.
As you can see, the world passport is not recognised under Immigration Regulation 2(4).

Warner Bros. Pictures has rolled out the new trailer for the DC Comics film "Suicide Squad" and it looks great.
The David Ayer-directed film opens in theaters nationwide on August 5th.
Plot: It feels good to be bad… Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?
