LOS ANGELES (AP) — Keanu Reeves and Laurence Fishburne were among the “John Wick: Chapter 4” stars honoring Lance Reddick, their co-star who died unexpectedly last week, at the film’s Los Angeles premiere.

“We lost our brother, and in a really sort of very shocking way. I think we’re all still in shock. “Life is,” the visibly-shaken Fishburne said, pausing briefly before continuing, “hard sometimes.”

Many of those who worked on the film wore blue ribbons to honor Reddick, who was a prolific character actor with prominent roles in “The Wire,” “Oz” & the “John Wick” film franchise.

“Just to be in his light & to get a chance to work with him, I’ll cherish for the rest of my life,” Reeves said. “He had such a passion for his work and his craft. He was gracious. He had a dignity to him & a presence.”

Reddick, 60, died Friday in Los Angeles of natural causes.

Tributes have poured in for the actor, whose roles made him a beloved and recognizable star of television and films. He played Charon, the multi-skilled Continental Hotel concierge who is fond of Wick, an assassin played by Reeves. The latest installment arrives in theaters Friday.

“He’s the goodness of this film. He was kind of, in many ways, the heart of the film because his character loved John Wick,” Fisburne said.

“You know, it’s always hard when you lose someone that you love dearly . . . but you’re also incredibly grateful for the time you had together. We were fortunate enough to work with Lance since the very beginning of the ‘John Wick’ franchise. I mean it’s been almost 10 years,” director Chad Stahelski said. “I really wish he could be with us tonight, but, you know, life. But we’re very fortunate to have known him. And he’s a great man, a great artist, a great human, a dear friend.”

A few weeks ago, Philly's own Young Chris dropped his new project "Network 4". The project has received great reviews online and in the streets worldwide. It only made sense that HipHopSince1987 would link up with Young Chris for a classic interview to talk about his new project as well as a bunch of topics that his fans have been dying to hear him talk about.

HHS1987's E-Money & Rick Dange went to Young Chris' hood in Nicetown and linked up with on his block. In Part 2 of this interview, Young Chris picks up where Part 1 ended, and breaks down the world famous battle between Freeway and Cassidy. Chris talks about exactly how the battle was set up and how Jay Z & Swizz Beats picked who would battle Cassidy. Chris goes on to talk about beef in Philly as well as tension among his inner circle. E-Money and Young Chris touch on the beef between Birdman & Lil Wayne. Chris also goes in to detail about his good friendship with Lil Wayne and talks about their history together, as well as how he almost signed to Young Money.

A lot of people don't know that Young Chris now has his own imprint "Nicetown Entertainment". Chris breaks down his company and talks about looking for new artists to sign. Before we wrap up the interview, Chris talks about his former CEO's Dame Dash & Biggs, and details the important roles they each played in his career.

The "daywalker" will once again stalk the streets looking for vampires to turn into ashes. Wesley Snipes has agreed to return for the fourth installment in the Blade movie series, according to the New York Daily News.

Snipes will reportedly receive a $3 million salary, plus a percentage of the film's profits. The last Blade flick was released in 2004. All three were successes at the box officer, pulling in over $415 million combined.

While promoting his latest film, The Expendables 3, Snipes sounded eager to reprise his role in a fourth Blade movie.

"I think I can do it again," the 52-year old actor told London Live. "I can still fit into the costume."

Lil Wayne fans will have to wait a while longer to get their hands on the 4th installment of his Dedication mixtape series.

The tape was scheduled to drop today, but has been pushed back. Some websites are reporting it will be released on September 3rd. The website Dedication4.com has a message that says it's coming soon. It's the second time the tape has been pushed back. It was originally scheduled to come out on August 15th, but was moved to the 30th by Wayne to allow his friend 2 Chainz new album room to breathe.

At this point who knows when it will actually drop.

Lil Wayne was supposed to drop his Dedication 4 mixtape yesterday, but decided to hold off because he didn't want to take any attention away from the release of 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U. Storyalbum.

In this video update Wayne said you can expect his tape to drop sometime within the next week or so. To hold fans over until then he dropped a freestyle over Tity Boi's "No Lie" instrumental.

Audio After The Jump

Lil Wayne called into Hot 107.9 to talk about the upcoming fourth installment of his Dedication mixtape series. He also chopped it up with Drama about the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash, the Young Money nominations for the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, hitting the stage in Miami with Nicki Minaj on her Pink Friday tour, his friendship with 2 Chainz, comparing the 2012 Olympic basketball team to the original Dream Team and more.

Wayne also responded to James "Jas" Prince's lawsuit alleging neither he or Drake have been paid royalties they are due.

"I just heard about that yesterday," Wayne said. "All I can say is it's not true, but I really have no response. It's funny... I'm just making a lot of money over here."

The Dedication 4 mixtape is scheduled to drop in the middle of this month.

For a decade, Lil Wayne has been hip-hop’s great unstoppable force, a 24-hour-a-day recording machine without an off button. But on February 9th, Lil Wayne will have to stop — for 12 months, when he reports to prison to serve a sentence for gun possession stemming from a 2007 arrest in New York City. Rolling Stone stays up all night with Weezy as he prepares to get locked down in our new issue, which is on sale at newsstands today. “I don’t like to stop,” Wayne tells RS‘ Chris Norris. “I believe you stop when you die.” So in the weeks before he reports to Rikers Island, Wayne is keeping busy — recording tracks bound for Tha Carter IV (the album Cash Money staffers call “C4″ because it’ll be the bomb), shooting videos with his Young Money protégés, spending time with his growing family, and deliberately not asking anyone for advice about life on the inside. “This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he says. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.” While Weezy’s away, his label is relocating to New York to be near him, and his manager Cortez Bryant is exploring ways to keep Wayne in his fans’ minds for the duration — from jailhouse Twitter accounts to endorsements. “I’ll have an iPod, and I”ll make sure they keep sending me beats,” Lil Wayne says. Tha Carter IV — which Norris is told features tougher, faster beats — is scheduled to arrive shortly after he gets out. Read the full story in the new issue for Wayne’s comments on giving up drank, growing older and fearing God, plus a close-up look at one of his intense late-night recording sessions. And check out Norris’ essay on his time with Wayne, Weezy Phone Home: Is Lil Wayne Hip-Hop’s Alien or Simply the Greatest?, only online. Rolling Stone. Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Lil Wayne pictured with Recording Engineer Ky Lil Wayne's rock album 'Rebirth' drops February 2nd, but that's hardly the disc everyone is waiting for. The masses want to know how the Cash Money rapper will follow up his double platinum 2008 effort 'Tha Carter III'. That album spawned the hits "Lollipop" and "A Milli". It also was a critical and commercial success. Selling a million copies it's first week out and winning four Grammy Awards. With the pressure on to top that disc and jail looming, Mr Carter is hard at work according to his recording engineer Ky. Ky is quoted in an interview with NewLilWayne.com as saying. “Of course after Rebirth the Carter 4 is up next, he already has about 20 records for it done already.” Expect 'Tha Carter 4' sometime around summer.
