"Honestly, my thought in the medical room, I was sitting in the corner and was like, 'What am I anymore if I'm not this?'" Rousey told Ellen DeGeneres. "Literally sitting there thinking about killing myself. In that exact second, I'm like, 'I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a shit about me anymore without this.'"
Holm was was asked about the comments during an interview with Sherdog.
“There’s a lot of things around that. When I heard that she said that, for me it’s one of those things it’s like, ‘How do I respond to that?’” Holm said. “I don’t want to say I’m sorry because I think on a competitive level for me, if somebody was to say they’re sorry after [beating me], it’s like, ‘No, I’m a competitor.’ I’m not a charity case.
I feel like that’s something the best thing is for me not to say anything at all. I don’t want to say that I’m glad that she felt that way and I don’t want to say, ‘Oh I’m so sorry.’ It’s something I think that you have to dig through on your own. In the long run, she’ll be stronger mentally from it.”
WWEfighter and former UFC Heavyweight Champion,Brock Lesner, told ESPN that Rousey has to learn to take the good with the bad while competing.
"I'm a big fan of Ronda's and have been since the beginning," Lesnar said while speaking to "SportsCenter" on Tuesday night. "One thing that I learned and she should have learned a long time ago was that you have to learn how to lose before you can actually win."
Former boxing championMike Tysonhas struck up a friendship with Rousey. WhenTMZ Sportscaught up with him on Tuesday he offered her some words of advice.
"It's a moment in time. She's [just] gonna feel that way now," Tyson said, before admitting to having experienced bad thoughts after both wins and losses.

Last week every media outlet reported on the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show and Beyonce's seemingly controversial "Formation" performance. Upon hearing several of the news highlights - particularly Toronto councillor Jim Karygiannis' remarks - VladTV regular Lord Jamar responded with a hearty laugh as he feels headlining band Coldplay "allowed the Black people to do the heavy lifting." "At what point do you not try to chastise a whole organization or a whole race of people for something that maybe a few people did?"
Throughout the clip Lord Jamar questions why some felt what Beyonce did was wrong despite their ongoing support of police. "See there's times when the police tried to kill the Black Panthers and they fought back - and then the f*cking police just happened to get the bad end of the stick," he explains. "They were so used to just killing motherf*ckers with no defense that is was really surprising when the Black Panthers started fighting back...So what'd they do? They changed the law...That's the epitome of racism."
Manny Pacquiao is preparing to fight Timothy Bradley on April 9 at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, in what could be the final bout of his illustrious career.
However, there's a storm brewing outside of the ring for comments he recently made comparing gays and lesbians to animals.
"It's common sense. Will you see any animals where male is to male and female is to female?" The Filipino pugilist told TV5 on Monday, February 15. "The animals are better. They know how to distinguish male from female. If we approve [of] male on male, female on female, then man is worse than animals."
The 37-year old former champion was quick to issue a public apology via his Twitter account.
"I'm sorry for hurting people by comparing homosexuals to animals," he says in a video. "Please forgive me for those I've hurt. God Bless!"
The apology did little to quell the anger of those who were offended by Pacquiao's remarks. AChange.org petition has been started urging Nike to drop him as a spokesperson.
Read what it says below.
Dear Tim Hershey, Vice President of Global Merchandising for Nike and Executive Advisor to Nike’s LGBT Employee Network,
In past press releases, Nike has stated that "Nike is deeply committed to diversity, inclusion and unleashing the potential of all athletes." Nike has sponsored LGBT athletic events and conferences as well as fostered an LGBT employee resource network. Nike has also stated that they were a proud supporter of the LGBT Sports Coalition and "its initiatives to end discrimination in sport."
Yet, Nike remains associated with boxer Manny Pacquiao, a boxer who has most recently said same-sex couples are worse than animals and has in the past invoked religious language to call for their deaths. Pacquiao's expressions of homophobia and bigotry disqualifies him from being honored, endorsed and sponsored by one of the world's largest publicly-traded and owned athletic companies, particularly one that is celebrated and well-known for their promotion of sportsmanship and excellence.
We, the undersigned pledge to boycott Nike products until Nike ends their sponsorship deals with Pacquiao and removes him from their marketing and outreach materials. We call upon Nike to stand with the global LGBT community to send a strong and clear message of respect, inclusion, and tolerance to for athletes, gay or straight, as well as their fans and consumers.
As of this posting the petition has 2,817 signatures.
**UPDATE**
TMZ is reporting that Nike is on the verge of severing ties with Pacquiao on the heels of this growing controversy.
This would end a business relationship that began in 2006.
According to the report, the final decision hasn't been reached, but the powers that be are heavily leaning that way after discussing it.
Nike has removed the boxer's apparel from it's online store.
**UPDATE** No. 2
Nike has severed ties with Manny Pacquiao. Read their statement below.
"We find Manny Pacquiao's comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community."
The Anti-Beyonce Rally that took place outside of the NFL's New York City headquarters on Tuesday, February 16, flopped harder than Gunplay's last album because only a handful of protesters showed up.
As we previously reported, a group was up in arms because the singer saluted the Black Panther Party during her halftime performance of "Formation" at Super Bowl 50. Today they were supposed to publicly air out their grievances.
“Are you offended as an American that Beyonce pulled her race-baiting stunt at the Superbowl? Do you agree that it was a slap in the face to law enforcement? Do you agree that the Black Panthers was/is a hate group which should not be glorified?” the anonymously posted event page said. “Come and let’s stand together. Let’s tell the NFL we don’t want hate speech & racism at the Superbowl ever again!”

"Some of us are surprised that there are only a couple of us out here today," Ariel Kohane told Rolling Stone. "It is scheduled from 8 to 4 p.m. – it's a business day. Also, the weather; the rain turned a lot of people away. You know, 6 p.m. would be a better time. Even lunch time – 12 p.m., 1 p.m."
Those excuses didn't stop the #Beyhive. They came ready to stage an anti-anti-Beyonce protest.

Towards the end of the pre-Grammy Awards show on Monday, February 15, host Bow Wow was counting down the time before throwing it to LL Cool J to begin the event.
Unfortunately for Bow Wow, it was being broadcast live and the timing was out of sync, so he ended up trying to start the show twice before it was supposed to begin. When it didn't he improvised to kill time.
To the rapper and actor's credit he didn't panic and did his best to cover up the mistake, but it was tough and pretty funny to watch.
Charlamagne Tha God roasted Shad while giving him the "Donkey of the Day" for Tuesday, February 15.

Rousey was brought to tears and revealed publicly for the first time she had thought of committing suicide.

In that exact second, I'm like, 'I'm nothing. What do I do anymore? No one gives a shit about me anymore without this.'"
