Back in February we reported that Ciara had filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against her former fiance and baby's father, Future.
The singer feels like Future, real name Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn, is trying to damage her career by making negative comments about her during interviews and on social media.
While on The Breakfast Club last July, Future was critical of Ciara for letting her boyfriend at the time, now fiance Russell Wilson, push their 1-year old son Future Zahir Wilburn in a stroller.
"Of course I wouldn't want someone to push my son. That's the number one rule. If I was a kid and my mama had a dude pushing me I would have jumped out the stroller and slapped the shit out of her," the rapper said at the time. "You never do that in our community. You don't even bring a man around your son. You've only known this dude for a few months and you're bringing him around your kid. Who does that?"
Charlamagne Tha God suggested that Wilson shouldn't have put himself in that position.
"He probably didn't know," Future replied. "She set him up. I'm not for the publicity stunts. Leave my son out of the publicity stunts."
In January the "Turn on the Lights" hit maker ripped his baby's mother via Twitter for allegedly making it hard for him to see his son.
"This bitch got control problems," he wrote. "I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture...the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that's all. I been silent for a year & a half. I ran outta patience."

Future is now fighting Ciara's defamation lawsuit by filing a counter-suit, according to The Jasmine Brand.
He defends calling her a bitch, saying he meant "overbearing, complaining or unpleasant — not a lewd or immoral woman."
As far as damaging Cici's musical career Future doesn't think that's possible because he believes her career has been in the tank for the last 2-3 years.
His suit further states that Ciara's last album flopped, she isn't winning any awards, doesn't have a huge fan base and isn't known worldwide.
He's asking that her $15 million lawsuit be thrown out of court, requests that she be forced to stop talking trash about him, be ordered to pay his legal fees associated with the case and asks for unspecified punitive damages for violating the law with her frivolous complaint.

23-year old R&B singer Tinashe is working hard on her forthcoming sophomore album titled "Joyride." She appears in the "Youth Issue" of Paper Magazine and talks about her approach to the project.
"You can't have too many chefs in the kitchen," she says. "You have to stay true to your own instincts and just have your own vision. I think that is very important. Otherwise you just get lost in the sauce. Especially as a young woman in the industry. A lot of people think, 'Oh you're just a cute girl.' It has nothing to do with your artistry or your heart or work or anything like that. It's obviously just about what you look like."

During a successful reign in hip hop, Death Row Records also had a lucrative run. Danny Boy explained that each artist was taken care of with a monthly allowance, however, while Suge Knight was locked up, the funds suddenly stopped rolling in. In this interview, the singer says Michel'le gained control of the business, cut him off, and became a "super bitch" towards him.
"I want to be as honest as possible—The devil." He said in regards to Michel'le, "I don't know if God is a man or a woman, but I definitely know that bitch is the devil."

Hip Hop Pioneer Afrika Bambaataa, 58, who rose to fame with his 1982 hit record "Planet Rock," is facing a growing number of allegations that he sexually molested minors.
Ronald Savage a.k.a. Bee Stinger, a former member of Bambaataa's Universal Zulu Nation, was the first to come forward. His claims are detailed in his book titled Impulse Urges and Fantasies and in a YouTube interview with Star a.k.a. Troi Torain.
Savage, 50, a Judicial Delegate in the 12th Judicial District in the Bronx, N.Y, and a Former NYS Democratic Committeeman, says the sexual misconduct began in the 70's when he was 15-years old.
Ronald Savage describes his experience as a teenager in the Bronx, where he says he was molested by hip-hop legend Afrika Bambaataa. (Photo credit: Andrew Savulich/New York Daily News)
"It took me this long to actually get this out and to be able to talk about it," Savage told Star, in response to a question about why he is just now coming forward. "Back when I was younger I was a kid when this happened. I wanted to be down with the in-crowd. Not really understanding that what Bambaataa was doing to me was actually molesting me. I didn't understand that. I knew it was wrong. I just had these feelings that was just like, yuck. Over the years as I was getting older, I wanted to report this and I wanted to come forward. But out of fear of the Zulu Nation, fear for my family, fear for me, what could possibly happen. I was shamed, embarrassed," he added. "Things like this usually happen to women ... to girls. And guys don't really talk about it."
Chuck Freeze of the Jazzy Five, who recorded and performed with Bambaataa was around the Zulu Nation during the time of these alleged incidents. He knows Savage and told the New York Daily News that he was an honest person.
“Ronald was the kind of guy you could trust,” says Freeze, real name Charles Foushee. “You could leave money on the table and know it would be there when you got back. A really good dude. Easy to talk to. Very intelligent. We had no idea about this — and we would not have tolerated it if we did. Do I believe it? Yes, I do.”
In a statement to Rolling Stone, Bambaataa, real name Kevin Donovan, addresses Savage's allegations and dismisses them as "a cowardly attempt to tarnish my reputation and legacy in hip-hop at this time."
"I, Afrika Bambaataa, want to take this opportunity at the advice of my legal counsel to personally deny any and all allegations of any type of sexual molestation of anyone," Bambaataa says. "These allegations are baseless and are a cowardly attempt to tarnish my reputation and legacy in hip-hop at this time. This negligent attack on my character will not stop me from continuing my battle and standing up against the violence in our communities, the violence in the nation and the violence worldwide."
Bambaataa's lawyer, Vivian Kimi Tozaki, also issued a statement via the New York Daily News.
“Defamatory statements were published seeking to harm my client’s reputation so as to lower him in the estimation of the community while deterring others from associating or dealing with him,” she said, referring to Savage’s book. “The statements show a reckless disregard for the truth, were published with knowledge of their falsity, and are being made by a lesser-known person seeking publicity.”
Since Savages interview three more men have come forward with similar accusations. You can watch those interviews with Star below.
What's your take on this growing controversy?

Snoop Dogg is letting Arnold Schwarzenegger have it for two decisions he made during his time as Governor of California.
Esteban Nunez was released from prison on Sunday, April, 10, after serving less than half of his original sentence. He plead guilty to manslaughter in the 2008 stabbing death of Luis Santos and began serving 16 years in prison in 2010.
Santos was a 22-year old San Diego Mesa College student at the time of his death.
Esteban Nunez
Schwarzenegger commuted the sentence as the last act of his term in 2011, cutting it in half, as a favor to a political ally, former State Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, Esteban's father.
In 2012, a Sacramento judge called the commutation “repugnant” but legal. In 2015, an appeals court wrote that “back-room dealings were apparent,” but ruled that Schwarzenegger had been within his rights.
Stanley "Tookie" Williams
On December 13, 2005, former Crips gang leader and friend of Snoop Dogg, Stanley "Tookie" Williams, was executed in California's San Quentin Prison after Schwarzenegger denied clemency, saying, "The facts do not justify overturning the jury's verdict or the decisions of the courts in this case."
Williams had steadfastly denied committing the four 1979 Los Angeles-area murders that he was convicted of.
Snoop feels like the former governor made the wrong decision in both cases. He posted an Instagram video on Tuesday, April 12, blasting Schwarzenegger.
"Arnold Schwarzenegger's a straight bitch," Snoop said. "Punk motherfucker. How the fuck you gon' let this nigga out of jail, but you gon' kill Tookie Williams, nigga. 'Cause homeboy was your friend. You's a bitch, you's a punk. Motherfucker, I can't stand you. You's one motherfucking racist piece of shit. Fuck you Arnold Schwarzenegger. You got the right name, nigga."
The family of Nunez's victim is also upset by Schwarzenegger's decision to cut his time in half.
“It makes you sick that something like this can happen, and you have no power,” Luis' mother Kathy Santos told the Los Angeles Times. “I don’t believe he’s reformed. I take pleasure from the thought that he will screw up his life again. I don’t think there will be a way out if he messes up again.”
Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, right, and former Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez in 2007.
Fabian Nunez says he doesn't have one ounce of regret.
“I used my relationship with the governor to help my own son,” he told The Times. “I’d do it again.”
