Buscoby Don’s new single gives hope to inner-city Jamaican youth living in poverty.

North York, ON, Canada — The mission of reggae/dancehall musician Buscoby Don is to help as many of his peers as he can to find what they are good at and capitalize off of it, just as he did with the music industry. Thinking that it’s the lack of opportunities that makes them so violent, on February 3, 2022, he released his new single, “Must Rich”, to show inner-city Jamaican youth that if he could get out, so could they. He wants this new song to be used as motivation or inspiration to let his audience know that even when it seems as if their dreams are being crushed, they should keep pressing on. He wants to let them know that many have been in their situation before, and in even worse situations, but still managed to keep pressing on and live their dreams.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — Memphis Police are looking for 2 more men who they say are persons of interest in the Young Dolph shooting death.

Officers say Devin Burns, 26, is five feet, six inches tall weighing around 135 pounds. They are also looking for Joshua Taylor, 26, who is six feet, six inches tall & weighs around 180 pounds.

Burns had previous unrelated charges in 2015 including attempted first-degree murder, possession of a firearm & aggravated robbery, according to police. A victim told police he was leaving his apartment when he was struck in the head before being robbed & shot.

WREG also discovered Burns has unrelated active assault & theft of property warrants for his arrest. 

Young Dolph, whose real name was Adolph Thornton Jr., was shot & killed outside of Makeda’s Homemade Cookies in South Memphis on Nov. 17, 2021.

Justin Johnson, 23, who is also known as the rapper “Straight Drop,” was captured in Indiana last month & charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, employment of a firearm & theft of property over $10,000.

Cornelius Smith, 32, was also charged with the same crimes. Both men pled not guilty in the shooting death of Young Dolph.

The U.S. Marshals also arrested Shundale Barnett in Indiana with Johnson. He was charged with being an accessory to a role in helping Johnson flee from Memphis to Indiana & criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder.

Alec Baldwin has an important ally in the "Rust" shooting, because the D.A. may be onboard with his story that he never pulled the trigger of the gun that killed Halyna Hutchins.

Santa Fe D.A. Mary Carmack-Altwies told Vanity Fair, "You can pull the hammer back without actually pulling the trigger and without actually locking it. So you pull it back partway, it doesn’t lock, and then if you let it go, the firing pin can hit the primer of the bullet."

This aligns with what Baldwin told ABC News back in December ... insisting he did not pull the trigger. He said, "I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger at them, never."

The D.A. had her investigators perform a test in her office ... to see if a mechanical malfunction could have resulted in an accidental firing. The result -- she says the hammer could have caused the gun to discharge a bullet.

Some experts have claimed there's no way the gun could fire without pulling the trigger, but the D.A.'s own analysis is critical, given she's mulling over whether to charge anyone with criminal negligence.

Baldwin is being sued by Hutchins' husband and son, claiming there were numerous safety issues on the movie set. Baldwin has maintained he did nothing wrong.

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A former Louisiana teacher who pleaded guilty to tainting cupcakes with her ex-husband’s bodily fluids & feeding them to school children was sentenced Friday to 41 years in prison.

Authorities said Cynthia Perkins committed the acts with her ex, Dennis Perkins, a former Livingston Parish sheriff’s lieutenant. She initially faced 150 felony charges, including rape, child pornography, sexual battery of a child & video voyeurism stemming from a 2019 child pornography probe.

On Monday, Cynthia Perkins, 36, agreed to a deal with prosecutors in the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, pleading guilty to 1 count each of producing child pornography, second-degree rape & mingling harmful substances.

“Today, Cynthia Perkins admitted to her crimes & pled guilty in court,” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry said. “She not only waived any right to appeal & attempt to avoid conviction, but she also spared the victims from reliving her horrific crimes during this particular trial.”

The 41-year sentence had been agreed upon in plea negotiations, her attorneys said. As part of the deal, she will be required to testify against her ex-husband. Also, she will not be eligible for parole until she enters the 41st year of her sentence.

Per the plea deal, Perkins had to agree to certain facts in the case such as assisting her husband in the sexual assault of a juvenile, helping him film a juvenile while bathing & lacing desserts with his semen before giving them to school-aged children.

“To the family of the victims, I can’t imagine what this whole process has been like for you,” Sledge told those in the courtroom Friday. “To the juvenile victim, I hope this has given her some sense of closure.”

“I would also like to apologize to my three children. I haven’t spoken to them in three years. I love them and I miss them & I’m sorry,” Perkins said.

But one of her children, born during her first marriage, described her in a letter to the court as a “horrible” & “manipulative” mother.

“My life is so much better without you,” the letter read.

Meanwhile, Dennis Perkins, 46, is expected to go to trial later this year. Cynthia Perkins’ attorneys said she was manipulated by him into committing child sex crimes. They also called Dennis Perkins the “mastermind” behind the couple’s criminal activity.

Warriors forward Draymond Green's L.A. house was ransacked during Super Bowl weekend ... and over $1,000,000 worth of stuff -- watches, jewelry, and other property -- was stolen, TMZ Sports has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us 31-year-old Green -- who attended Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles -- came home later that night and discovered someone had busted their way into his home.

Our sources tell us the alleged perps entered Green's residence through his window ... and made off with watches, jewelry, and other personal property.

Unfortunately, this isn't the first time something like this has happened to an athlete in Los Angeles. During Game 7 of the World Series in 2017, Dodgers star Yasiel Puig's home was burglarized.

In 2019, the NFL warned the Rams of the potential for burglaries ... and advised the players to beef up security.

Police are currently investigating the burglary at Draymond's. No arrests have been made.

Kanye West could soon find himself charged for allegedly attacking a fan outside an L.A. hotel ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... cops have nearly completed their investigation into the case, and will soon ship their findings off to the L.A. City Attorney's Office, who will decide on whether to file any criminal charges against Kanye.

We're told between the paparazzi video evidence, and witness statements, cops think there's enough evidence to charge Kanye with a crime. We know cops wanted to interview Ye, but our sources say it never happened ... citing a busy schedule.

As we've told you ... Kanye is under investigation for allegedly punching an autograph seeker near the Soho Warehouse in DTLA ... and video shows the man laid out on the street as Kanye rages at folks who apparently work for him. We were told at the time Kanye broke the guy's nose.

The way it works in L.A. ... the City Attorney has 3 options -- file charges, reject the case, or call the involved parties in for an informal office hearing where they could impose certain conditions for the case to go away ... conditions like attending anger management classes.

PARIS (AP) — A modeling agent who was close to disgraced U.S. financier Jeffrey Epstein was found dead Saturday in his French jail cell, where he was being held in an investigation into the rape of minors and trafficking of minors for sexual exploitation, according to the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Paris police are investigating the death of the agent, Jean-Luc Brunel, the prosecutor’s office said.

Brunel’s lawyer did not immediately comment. His lawyer previously said that Brunel contested accusations against him in the media, but that he was available to talk to judicial officials.

Brunel was detained at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport in 2020 as part of a broad French probe unleashed by sex-trafficking charges in the U.S. against Epstein. Epstein killed himself in 2019 in a Manhattan jail while awaiting trial.

A frequent companion of Epstein, Brunel was considered central to the French investigation into alleged sexual exploitation of women and girls by the U.S. financier and his circle. Epstein traveled often to France and had apartments in Paris.

Multiple women have identified themselves as victims and spoken to police since the French probe was opened in 2019.

Earlier this week, Britain’s Prince Andrew agreed to settle a case in which he was accused of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl supplied to him by Epstein. The deal, in which Andrew agreed to make a substantial donation to his accuser’s charity, avoids a trial.
