Chris Brown is under investigation for battery ... and the alleged victim told cops he smacked the back of her head so hard her weave came off.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... police responded to the singer's San Fernando Valley home over the weekend, where a woman claimed Breezy slapped her.
We're told the woman claimed the slap made part of her weave come out ... and police took a battery report and named Chris as the suspect.
Our sources say the alleged victim had no injuries, aside from the allegedly dislodged weave, and no arrests have been made.
It's the second time in as many months cops were called to Chris' pad ... the first being his massive birthday bash in May, which LAPD broke up early in the AM.
We reached out to Chris' camp about the latest incident ... so far, radio silence.
Our sources say the battery case will most likely be kicked to the City Attorney, as it would be a misdemeanor charge ... if anything at all.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — A double-murder defendant acting as his own attorney in Florida was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder Monday evening, several hours after shouting at jurors & prosecutors & acknowledging he killed his then-girlfriend.
A Hillsborough County jury reached a verdict for Ronnie Oneal III after 4 and 1/2 hours of deliberations. The 12-member panel also found him guilty of attempted first-degree murder & arson. Jurors will reconvene later this week to recommend life in prison or the death penalty. Under Florida law, the decision for execution must be unanimous.
Oneal admitted during closing arguments earlier Monday that he killed Kenyatta Barron but denied charges that he killed his disabled daughter & tried to kill his son.
“I want you to know the actual facts,” he told jurors. Then, turning to prosecutors, he said, “I did kill Kenyatta Brown. But I want you to tell it like it is, if you are going to tell it.”
Oneal, 32, acted as his own lawyer throughout the trial.
The defendant spent most of his time Monday accusing the state of manipulating call logs & recordings for the night of the March 2018 killings. A state prosecutor called the claims “absurd.”
Oneal, who earlier in the trial cross-examined a sheriff’s detective before heartily thanking him for adopting his son, on Monday stridently criticized the move, suggesting it had prejudiced his son against him.
“You are ready to believe my son, whose statements are conflicting all of a sudden, because he has been adopted by a detective who worked in this case,” he said to the jury. “He had no business being around him in an open and pending case.”
The detective testified he worked the night of the attack but was not involved in the investigation.
Prosecutors say Oneal wounded Barron with a shotgun, then beat her to death. They say he used a hatchet to kill his 9-year-old daughter & wounded his son, then 8, with a knife. The daughter had cerebral palsy & could not speak.
Oneal is also accused of setting the family’s Tampa-area house on fire. The son survived & testified last week by remote video that he saw his father kill his sister with the hatchet & recalled his mother being shot. When questioned by Oneal, the boy told his father, “You stabbed me.”
Prosecutor Ronald Gale said during his closing argument that the state had proved beyond a reasonable doubt that Oneal was guilty of the double murder & attempted murder. Gale played a 911 call that included screams from Barron.
“This has been a very emotional case & the evidence & testimony has been by turns gruesome & disturbing and just heartbreaking,” Gale said, asking the jury to put those emotions aside & deliberate on the facts.

UFC fighter Luis Pena has been arrested on charges of robbery & assault.
Pena was taken into custody Friday by the Coral Springs (Florida) Police Department on three counts: robbery by sudden snatching, battery & criminal mischief. As of Saturday evening, he was being held at the Broward County Detention Center on a hold from Palm Beach County.
Coral Springs PD spokesperson Christian Swinson confirmed that Pena was apprehended by the law enforcement agency Friday after a warrant for Pena's arrest was called in from an outside jurisdiction. After getting a tip that Pena was in Coral Springs, officers made contact with the MMA fighter, confirmed his identity & brought him in.
In Florida, robbery by sudden snatching is a potential felony.
On Wednesday, Pena tweeted that he has had "serious mental health issues" his entire life & had "finally gained the strength to get & accept the help I've needed for a long time."
Hunter Campbell, the UFC's executive vice president & chief business officer, told ESPN that the promotion is looking into the situation. He said the UFC has been aware that Pena has been going through mental health and substance issues & the promotion will not book him in a fight until it finds out more information.
Pena, 27, last fought for the UFC in April, beating Alexander Munoz. The lightweight & featherweight fighter was suspended 4.5 months by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for a positive marijuana test last June. Pena (9-3) sports a 5-3 UFC record & is an alum of "The Ultimate Fighter." He is also known by his nickname "Violent Bob Ross" due to his passing resemblance to the famous late painter.
TAMPA, Fla.(Fox 13) - Closing arguments began & ended Monday for prosecutors and a double-murder suspect representing himself in trial.
Jurors are now tasked with determining the fate of Ronnie Oneal, accused of murdering his girlfriend & 9-year-old daughter & attempting to kill his 8-year-old son. Oneal & prosecutors spent all of last week making their cases.
Prosecutors began their closing arguments Monday morning the same way they began their opening remarks: with the 911 call from 33-year-old Kenyatta Barron, Oneal’s girlfriend, as she pleaded for her life. Prosecutors said, by then, she had already been shot and, while the recording continued, Oneal can be heard beating her with a shotgun.
Much like his opening statements one week ago, Oneal yelled as he spoke to jurors, saying his son's statements were inconsistent and he believes his son was likely coached by the Hillsborough County detective who later adopted him.
"I did kill Kenyatta Barron, but I want you to tell it like it is if you’re going to tell it," he said.
It was a week of emotional and difficult testimony from first responders, neighbors & even Oneal’s own son, who testified as a witness.
On Friday, before the state & defense rested their cases, jurors saw images of Oneal taken the night of the murders. The lead detective on the case testified when he arrived at the scene, saying Oneal was covered in blood & smelled like gasoline.
Earlier in the week, Oneal’s son told jurors his father had poured gasoline on him after stabbing him, then lit him on fire.
As part of his defense, Oneal called one of his former neighbors to the stand, who described watching O’Neal’s girlfriend, Kenyatta Barron, try to run to another neighbor’s home for help but said she never made it.

According to X's probate docs, obtained by TMZ, Def Jam Recordings paid the bill Brooks Memorial Home Inc. in Yonkers, NY sent to the family. The receipt, dated May 5, 2021, covered the services of Earl Simmons ... X's full government name.
According to the document, those costs included the transfer of remains to the funeral home, embalming ... plus the hearse and flowers.
There's no specific mention of the awesome monster truck that carried DMX's casket to Barclays Center celebration of life in Brooklyn.

Damon Dash says Jay-Z attempted to buy his share of Roc-A-Fella records for a price that was way too low -- so he's out to find a new buyer -- and not even a lawsuit from the label will stop him.
Damon's firing back after getting sued by RAF for attempting to sell off Jay's "Reasonable Doubt" album as an NFT. Dash tells us the lawsuit is full of inaccuracies, and it's not the album he's trying to sell ... it's his ENTIRE stake in Roc-A-Fella!!!
In fact, Dash claims as recently as March of this year, Jay-Z attempted to buy his 1/3 share of RAF at, "a price I deemed unacceptable" ... so he's looking for a buyer on his own.
If he comes to an agreement with someone, Dash says, "Under the terms of the deal with a potential buyer, the buyer would buy my share of Roc a Fella Records and Jay-Z will have exclusive administration rights."
Dash claims the lawsuit filed against him Friday was only a scare tactic to prevent him from selling something he believes he has the legal right to sell.
TMZ broke the story, RAF, with the help of attorney Alex Spiro has asked the court to step in and stop Dash from selling "Reasonable Doubt" as an NFT and want him to turn over any NFTs he may have already minted.
