Las Vegas, NV – December 31, 2010 – It was a night unlike any other the Vegas Strip has ever seen at the grand opening of Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on New Years Eve. Acclaimed global superstar DJ Erick Morillo kicked off the night with a set in the club’s Main Room and led the countdown to 2011, while Interscope’s Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre got the party started in the club’s VIP room with DJ Ross One. After the Jay-Z and Coldplay private concert in the event center at The Cosmopolitan the celebrties decended en masse to the new mega club for a historic opening. Kellan Lutz, who showed up wearing a black eye mask to avoid the Twi-Hards lined up outside to see him, settled into a table in Marquee’s Main Room next to Wilmer Valderamma. 50 Cent arrived with friend Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was in anything but a fighting mood, and the two were seen dancing to music by DJ Erick Morillo before heading downstairs to the VIP room. Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan, Haylie Duff and boyfriend Nick Zano, Christina Milian, Abigail Spencer Pruitt, James Marsden, Jamie Kennedy, Jessica Szohr, Deryck Whibley, Jeremy Piven and Mark Salling were also spotted dancing in the Main Room. The club which total’s 60,000 square feet filled up to a capacity crowd of nearly 3000 people quickly and the VIP room, also know as The Boom Box was taken over by the superstar rapper Jay Z and rockband Coldplay and their famous friends. It was so packed with A-list celebrities that you couldn’t take two steps without bumping into a Grammy Winner. Rihanna and Diddy came by to party with Jay-Z, Beyonce, Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, who all held court at a center table with views of the Las Vegas Strip. Kanye West and John Mayer, who surprised the crowd with performances earlier in the night at the Comopolitan of Las Vegas’s grand opening concert, were also spotted at the exclusive after-party, as were Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Cameron Diaz, Forest and Keisha Whitaker, Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham, Ellen Pompeo, Kirsten Dunst, Kings of Leon’s Jared Followill, Kelly Slater, Olivia Munn, Whitney Port and Emmanuelle Chriqui. Celebrities looking for a more relaxed scene flocked to the club’s third floor called The Library Room. Ashley Olsen enjoyed cocktails with boyfriend Justin Bartha early on, while Jared Leto showed up later in the night, following his 30 Second To Mars performance at The Palms. Magician David Copperfield and Dylan Lauren also enjoyed the vibe in the Library Room. Meanwhile, Mark Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez took over a table with 25 of their friends and family members and danced up a storm with pal Leah Remini. At one point, Anthony stole the club photographer’s camera and started taking photos of Lopez who was playfully posing for him while a few feet away Florence Welch of Florence + The Machine and Blake Lively were spotted dancing together on a banquette late into the night. Bottles of Ace of Spades champagne were flowing into the early hours and Jay-Z was spotted pouring glasses for friends including Gayle King. Solange Knowles did a special DJ set for her sister and brother-in-law and fellow DJ Samantha Ronson grabbed the mic to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Approximately 2:30 am Kanye West continued to surprise guests when he took over the mic in the DJ booth and treated them to an impromptu performance. Soon after Diddy ordered a bottle of Ciroc for every table in the roomas he requested his new hit “Ass on the Floor”. Then Jay-Z joined Kanye in the booth and the crowd was going crazy. Jay-Z wished everyone a Happy New Year and the two started singing West’s hit song, “Runaway” then their joint hit called “Monster”. West and Jay-Z were then joined by Rihanna in a singalong to her hit song, “What’s My Name” and the crowd was in a frenzy. Following Jay-Z and West’s second performance of the evening, Jay-Z asked comedian Aziz Ansari to join them in the DJ booth and entertain the crowd with a “New Years Eve joke.” Ansari said no, but Jay-Z would not relent and eventualy Ansari took the mic and got a few laughs but not before Jay, Kanye and Rhianna were joined by Beyonce in the booth at which point Jay stopped the music to wish happy new year to everyone in the room and to his wife “B”. the party wound down after 5:00 AM on New Years Day but not before Diddy and his girlfriend Cassie made a final stop to say hi to his friend Erick Morillo in the main rooms DJ booth, Morillo proceeded to play Diddy’s dance hit “Hello Good Morning” as the crowd and the camera’s went crazy. It was a star-studded beginning to a New Year and a historic grand opening for Marquee Las Vegas that has set the bar for the club business once again.
JumpOffTV invited Joe Budden to their discussion about who is signing to the Young Money roster next.
Low Key suggested that it could be Chris Brown. Raqi Thunda thinks the camp is already big enough and they should give Tyga and Jae Millz some shine.
Joe Budden on the other hand seemed to suggest that everyone on the roster besides Drake and Nicki Minaj is overrated.
“You can pick a bum off the street, make em say Young Money and he’s gonna be hot to all the f*cking sheep,” the Slaughterhouse MC said.
Low Key disagreed, saying that everyone Young Money has signed so far “has a bit of following.”
Buddens quickly shot back, “so Gudda Gudda has a following to you?” Before adding that he wished whoever the next signee is the best of luck.
Finally Joe was asked if he would sign to Young Money.
“I would take anything into consideration, I’m not sure that I would do it. But I’d consider it maybe., depending on if the deal was outstanding,” Joe said.
Personally I think the camp is starting to get too big. After adding the super talented rapper Cory Gunz the focus should be on getting his project out as well as Lil Wayne's 'Tha Carter IV', plus Tyga's and Drake's sophomore discs. The idea that Chris Brown would sign with them seems far fetched. He's building huge momentum on his own and already has a solid label home with Jive.

Several days ago Raz-B’s brother Ricky Romance made a video going at Chris Brown. In the video Romance threatened to put his pistol in Brown’s, “motherf*cking mouth” if he ever caught him out in L.A.
Yesterday (January 1) Chris released a video spoofing the one made by Romance. It’s pretty damn funny.
For those that may not know, this beef started on twitter between Raz & Chris during an argument about Rihanna on Twitter.
Good to see Chris trying to move past the stupidity. He’s apologized for homophobic slurs he made and this video is pure comedy.
There’s so much anti Muslim sentiment currently going on in the U.S., members of the media have begun to debate about ways to ease the growing tensions.
CBS News anchor Katie Couric was discussing the biggest news stories of 2010 with Politico's Jonathan Martin, comedian Mo Rocca and Theroot.com's Sheryl Huggins-Salomon.
The topic turned to the perception that most American's have a negative view of Islam and Muslims. The panel began to discuss why that is and what could be done to began to fix the problem.
Rocco states, "I'm pretty smart. I went to really fancy schools and I can't tell you five things about Islam. I know almost nothing about a major world religion that sits at the intersection of so many issues that are undeniably relevant to all of us."
To which Couric responded:
"Maybe we need a Muslim version of The Cosby Show. I know that sounds crazy, but The Cosby Show did so much to change attitudes about African-Americans in this country. And I think people are afraid of things they don't understand," she said.

Comedian/actor Russell Brand is known for his off the wall sense of humor, but he might be the only one laughing in his household today after at his latest joke.
Brand sent out a pic of his wife Katy Perry in bed sans makeup to his 1.7 million followers. He quickly deleted it, but it’s now all over the net.
Perry can’t be happy, the "California Gurls" singer is rarely seen without her face looking flawless, thanks to her makeup artists.
She’s still sexy in my book, I mean that body of hers is killer. This pic of her “real” face just isn’t a good look at all though.
A cop’s son is caught on tape knocking out a defenseless homeless man and starting two other fights, but the police initially refused to arrest him.
Justin Collison, son of Sanford, Florida Lt. Chris Collison went ape sh*t on December 4, 2010. First he walks up to a homeless man who was attempting to break up a fight and punches him from behind, knocking him out. The man, Sherman Ward suffered a broken nose from the assault.

Collison wasn’t done, he approaches a second man, the DJ of The Wet Spot Bar and starts another fight. Witnesses try to subdue him and his friends can be heard scolding him for hitting people randomly.
“Justin, Justin what the f*ck are you doing? Justin get off of him,” one friend says.
Police confirm that Collison was involved in a total of three fights.
Police Chief Jerry Hargrett was at a loss trying to explain why Collison wasn’t arrested, despite the fact cops were on the scene.
"That decision was made by the officers on the scene that night. there's currently an investigation into that question which is a good question of why an arrest was not made," Hargrett told MyFoxOrlando.
Today we learned that an arrest warrant has finally been issued for Collison, more than three weeks after the incident.
Media coverage and citizens demanding to know why police did nothing initially, probably have more to do with the warrant being issued than anything else.
Collison is wanted on a charge of aggravated battery.
As we first reported yesterday, singers Chris Brown and Raz B got into a heated argument via Twitter. Both probably should have used better judgement by avoiding the public beef that was sparked by a tweet Raz made dissing Chris for how he treated Rihanna.
Today Chris is attempting to clear the air, hoping to avoid a backlash from the gay community by issuing a public apology for using homophobic slurs during the argument.
"Yesterday was an unfortunate lack in judgment sparked by public Twitter attacks from Raz B, who was bent on getting attention. Words cannot begin to express how sorry and frustrated I am over what transpired publicly on Twitter," Brown told TMZ. "I have learned over the past few years to not condone or represent acts of violence against anyone. Molestation and victims of such acts are not to be taken lightly; and for my comments I apologize -- from the bottom of my heart."
Meanwhile Raz's brother Ricky Romance released a video threatening Brown's life.
"This message is for Chris Brown... if I see you in L.A. im gonna put my motherf*cking pistol in your mouth, I promise you," Romance says in the video. "So make sure you keep them tweets to yourself my n*gga, and make sure you apologize."

Rapper Xzibit has a big financial hurdle to overcome with Uncle Sam.
The Detroit Newsis reporting that the former “Pimp My Ride” star owes nearly $1 million dollars in delinquent federal taxes.
According to the report X has filed for bankruptcy twice since 2009. Citing financial liabilities exceeding $1.4 million with assets of only $739,433. Both filings were dismissed for various reasons.
Much of the rapper’s financial trouble can be traced back to MTV’s cancellation of “Pimp My Ride” in 2007. X’s income went from $497,175 in 2007 to $67,510 the following year.
He reportedly agreed to start paying the IRS $250 dollars a month in 2009. That amount won’t even put a small dent into what’s owed.

The IRS filed a $22,196 lien against him Nov. 2 with the Los Angeles County Recorder.
The IRS filed a $435,487 lien July 21, 2009, with the Bernalillo County Clerk in New Mexico, where he owns a home.
The IRS filed a $205,485 lien Feb. 4, 2009, in Los Angeles County. He owes income taxes from 2007, according to the lien.
The IRS filed a $296,355 lien April 17, 2008, in Los Angeles County for unpaid income taxes from 2006, records show.
