Lebron James and Lauren Perdue

Miami Heat player may have just won a championship, but even he gets turned down by women every now and again. Information has leaked out that Lebron asked Olympic swimmer Lauren Perdue out to dinner. She politely declined and told the ball player that she had a curfew.

Things would have been OK had they ended there, but Perdue tweeted the information out to her followers. That tweet was then retweeted by her Alma mater, the University of Virginia.

Lauren then sent out a tweet with a pic of herself posing with Lebron (up top).

After that the information went viral.

To make matters worse Lebron is engaged to his high school sweetheart, Savannah Brinson. Brinson is also the mother of Lebron's two children.

Perdue gave an interview to Scott Fowler of the Charlotte Observer to try and clear up the situation.

I asked Perdue about it Wednesday. "The basketball players were nice enough to kind of come out and meet the swimmers and take pictures," Perdue said, speaking of a recent evening when the basketball players toured the Olympic Village (they aren't staying there -- the swimmers are).

LeBron did take a liking to Perdue, though, who is a star swimmer at the University of Virginia. So did he really ask her to dinner?

"He did," Perdue said. "He was kind of joking but he was basically like, 'Would you like to come eat with me at the dining hall?' And I said, 'Um, I'm sorry, I have a curfew. So I turned that one down, yeah."

One more note: Perdue said LeBron was "gracious" and certainly didn't imply that he was asking her to anything other than a meal at the Olympic Village dining hall.

It's no secret that Drake is a huge fan of late singer/actress Aaliyah. It appears he will now get the chance to work on music for her next album.

According to HipHopDX, Drizzy will produce her next album. In addition he will appear on her next single and will feature her vocals on his next release.

Last March while in London, Drake hinted to BBC Radio 1's Tim Westwood that he had something special related to the late singer in the works. “I have some great Aaliyah news coming soon,” he said. “Just some special things. Just gave you that, just a little. Because I said, I'm with Westwood, so I can't not. But great things, great things for music, period.

In what turned out to be one of the largest hauls of crystal meth and the biggest heroin bust in Australian history authorities smashed a Hong Kong-linked international drugs syndicate.

The bust was the culmination of a year-long operation following a tip-off from US authorities according to the Daily Mail.

"This was an 11 month investigation where we've had tight control over a number of people who we suspected of being involved in illicit narcotic importations," Australian deputy police commissioner Andrew Colvin said. "This has prevented half a billion dollars of drugs reaching Australian streets"

Seven people, four from Hong Kong and three from Australia, were detained. They ranged in age from between 29 and 61-years-old.

The drugs were hidden inside terracotta pots from Thailand.

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. appear to be very close to adding another top notch fighter to their TMT Promotions team.

ESPN is reporting that former five-time world champion Zab Judah and 50 are in the advanced stages of negotiations.

"I just left 50," Judah told ESPN's Dan Rafael. "He's a very interesting person. I've spent a lot of time with him when he was in (Las) Vegas (where Judah lives). We've been friends. I've been knowing 50 for a long time. His brain for business is phenomenal. We met Monday and (Tuesday). When you're doing big things it takes time. Anything that comes fast is not worth it. We're planning on doing it big. I like what 50 brings to the table. It's a great game plan. I think it will be a very good situation that will play out in boxing. It'll be something new and fresh."

Judah is a free agent now after his contract with Kathy Duva's Main Events ran out. If things go according to plan his next bout will be a title fight. Either against IBF junior welterweight world champion, Lamont Peterson, who may be stripped of his title after a recent positive drug test. Or he could face undefeated Mike Alvarado (33-0, 23 KO) for the vacant IBF title.

Zudah sounded confident that either fight would take place under the TMT Promotions banner.

"It's gonna be a dream team to have Zab Judah, Floyd Mayweather, Dirrell, Gamboa, Dib all in one circle," Zudah said of the team TMT has already assembled. "[the deal] will be done. In the coming days. We're just waiting on 'Money May' to come home [from jail]."

Mike Tyson's one man show 'Undisputed Truth' premiered Tuesday night in New York City at the Longacre Theatre. By all accounts it was an amazing show.

"I will just be telling [my] story," Tyson told Playbill.com at a press event announcing the show. "People have said the story mesmerizes. If anything comes across kind of fake, [you'll] see it right away. To avoid that, [I'm] putting everything on the table. But it's not all good stuff! It's going to be a rollercoaster of emotions."

The show is written by the boxer's wife, Kiki Tyson, and Randy Johnson. Spike Lee made his Broadway directorial debut.

"Human beings want to hear stories," Lee told Playbill.com. "Whether it's a play, a documentary…a song, a musical, a novel or a movie, we love great stories, and we love great storytellers. And, with Mike Tyson on the stage, you are going to hear a great American story… Mike's a great storyteller."

50 Cent was in attendance at the packed premiere and had a great time. He took to Twitter this morning to talk about it.

"I'm up thank God,another beautiful day I'm buggin right now. I went to see mike Tyson show on broadway," 50 wrote. "Man mike show was so good you have to see it. Spike lee did a amazing job. I was crying he was so funny.if your not a regular broadway play fan you still have to go see it. The show was sold out there wasn't one empty seat. I had a great time you have to see this I can't explain it."

Video After The Jump

The real "Freeway" Ricky Ross has been battling the rapper who took on his name and persona in court to try and reclaim both. It hasn't been an easy road for "Freeway" Ricky. In November 2010 a federal judge in L.A. threw out the first $10 million lawsuit he filed against the rapper, born William Roberts. A second lawsuit was also thrown out in March 2012.

"I should've filed a lawsuit while I was still in prison," "Freeway" Ricky told BET.com after hearing the disappointing hews about the second lawsuit "There's a law that technically if the person publishes the name again, republishes the name, that's another violation. So we argued that every time he put out a new album that's a republication of the name, or every time he does a different magazine article that's a republication because that's in a different magazine, that's a new republication… She [the judge] said that she wasn't certain that that's how the republication law read. She said that ours was a single publication and once he started using the name, the first time it ever played on the radio in suburban Miami was the date that she used."

"Freeway" Ricky plans to continue legal action in the case. While he plots his next legal move he's also having to hold off people who want to pursue the situation in the streets.

In a new interview with ForbezDVD.com he says he is having to keep goons at bay who want to see matters handled in a different manner.

"It's hard," he said. "Trust me, these dudes in L.A. don't like what he's done. It's hard for me to get them not to go get him. Even when I lost the lawsuit, three of the shot callers from the hood came to me and said, 'Is it time yet?' I was like, 'Nah, man.' I don't want that. I don't want nobody to do nothing to him. They want to put a no-fly zone on him, saying he can't come to L.A."

"Freeway" Ricky said even Suge Knight wants a piece of the rapper.

"Even Suge Knight came out. Suge stepped to me one day like, 'Let me take care of this.' I was like, 'Nah.' It ain't about that," he said.

Pitbull proved he could take a joke recently when an internet prankster figured out a way to get him to appear at a Walmart in Kodiak, Alaska.

Walmart held a contest where the location with the most Facebook "likes" would win a visit from the Miami rapper. When David Thorpe, writer for Something Awful and the Boston Phoenix found out about the contest he hatched a plot to get Pitbull to visit a Walmart in Kodiak, Alaska -- population 6100.

According to Buzzfeed, Thorpe started spreading the word on Twitter using the hashtag #ExilePitbull. Soon the location had over 60,000 new likes making it the winner of the contest.

Not only did Pitbull show he was a good sport by showing up at the event, but he made a video talking about it and paid Thorpe's way so he could also attend.

I heard that Kodiak, Alaska, has the most likes due to someone who thinks he was playing a prank,” Pitbull said in the video. “I said, ‘Okay, great, this sounds really good.’ You have to understand I will go anywhere in the world for my fans. So I wanna thank Walmart for the opportunity. And with that said I wanna invite that someone who thinks that it's a joke to Kodiak, Alaska with me."

During his Kodiak visit on Monday, Pitbull received a key to the city from Kodiak Mayor Pat Branson, who donned a pair of the sunglasses similar to the rapper's trademark shades, according to the New York Daily News.

He also performed and took pictures with fans.
