Video After The Jump (CNN) -- A Florida man picked the wrong day to tickle Elmo. The man who police say assaulted another man dressed in an Elmo suit left the altercation with two broken fingers and was detained for a mental health evaluation, police said. The dust-up between the suspect and the man dressed as the beloved Sesame Street character occurred Saturday afternoon in a guitar store in the city of Winter Park. The suspect came into the store and began assaulting customers, including the man in the red furry suit, police said. "The man who was wearing the Elmo costume was already in the store when the suspect entered the store and was physically aggressive towards customers and staff," Winter Park police said in a statement. "The suspect in this case suffered broken fingers and was taken to the hospital where he would receive treatment for his injuries and undergo a mental evaluation. The man dressed as Elmo was the victim in this incident and was not injured." CNN-affiliate WFTV said the man had been hired to perform as Elmo at a children's event and the attacker began throwing punches at the costumed man. The scuffle sent the guitar store into chaos, according to store employees who called 911. "He has physically hit customers; he knocked over a display," an employee said on 911 tapes that police released. "The place is in complete disarray right now."

Baby Mama Drama: Dwight Howard Sues His Ex, Royce Reed For $500 Million For Not Keeping Her Mouth Shut About Him

Dwight Howard's troubles with his baby mama keep growing. TMZ is reporting that the basketball star is suing Royce Reed for $500,500,000 for talking trash about him to the media which is a violation of their court settlement. It's the latest of many recent public battles between the two. According to TMZ's report, the Orlando Magic star basketball player is claiming that his ex has leaked dirt on him to the media at least 11 times. His lawyers estimate those stories have reached 1,000,000 people, violating their 2009 gag order. Reed, who stars on the VH1 reality show "Basketball Wives" denies any wrongdoing. Her rep says the information leaked from legal documents which are "immune to any agreement made by the parties." Dwight and Royce's son is just two years old, I hope for his sake his parents learn to get along, but that doesn't seem likely.

Kay Kellogg had one wish before cancer claims her life -- to meet Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. He granted it in a big way. According to the Orlando Sentinel , Howard recently spent several hours visiting with Kellogg, 62, a a Magic fan with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma. The cancer is inoperable and incurable, but Howard lifted her spirits and she ended up lifting his. "Dwight Howard is just such a precious, wonderful kid," she told the Sentinel. "Whenever I watch him play, he just makes me feel good inside." Kellogg's daughter, Arian Clute, contacted the Magic several weeks ago about her mother's wish to have a conversation with Howard, the two-time NBA defensive player of the year. He was scheduled to visit for 30 minutes but stayed several hours, according to the Sentinel. When he asked why he was the only item on her bucket list, she told him, "Because some people get a choir that sings them into heaven and some people get a chariot that rolls them into heaven. Not me. I want to be slam-dunked smack, dab into the middle of heaven by Dwight Howard." When he left, the 6-11 Howard bent down and hugged the 4-11 Kellogg. Then , according to the Sentinel, he told her, "You are taller than me." "That's the silliest thing I've ever heard," she said. At this point in his career, Tyson’s fights had become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon, where the ever present hype of the professional boxing scene would come face to face with the worlds of big business, Hollywood, and hip hop. Sitting ringside was controversial rapper Tupac Shakur. Shakur and Tyson were friends, a feeling of kinship linked them as each rose to stardom from poverty only to be thrown in prison. Following Tyson’s victory, Shakur and “Iron Mike” were to celebrate at an after party, but the rap star never arrived. Shakur was brutally gunned down later that night, and the scene in Las Vegas quickly turned from would-be celebratory revelry to ill fated and inopportune tragedy. Director Reggie Bythewood, with the full cooperation of Mike Tyson, will tell not only the story of that infamous night but of the remarkable friendship between Tyson and Tupac
