A doctor is lending a big helping hand to Christy Mack as she recovers from injuries suffered in a brutal beating at the hands of former boyfriend, War Machine.
TMZ reports that Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Harrison H. Lee has offered to perform the porn star's facial reconstruction surgery for free
Dr. Lee
Mack and her boyfriend were attacked on August 8th by War Machine, real name Jon Koppenhaver, leaving her with significant facial injuries, including missing teeth. She also suffered 18 broken bones, fractured ribs and a ruptured liver.

Koppenhaver was arrested Friday in Simi Valley, California after a week on the run. The former UFC and Bellator fighter had seven arrest warrants out, five of them for alleged felonies, when cops caught up to him at a Simi Valley hotel.

During a celebrity flag football game in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 16, Nelly, The Game, Cgris Brown, Shad Moss, Lil Mama, Trey Songz, Karrueche Tran, Tyga, Wale, Omarion and more came together for a common cause.
After the game St. Louis resident Nelly grabbed the mic and asked everyone in attendance to show support for slain Ferguson, Missouri teen Michael Brown by holding their hands above their heads in the "don't shoot" position.
“If anybody can sympathize with what my city is going through, it’s this city of L.A. right now on so many levels,” said Nelly. “So for that respect alone, I’m asking you, I’m begging you, and I’m pleading for you to just raise your hands for a second.”

The initial autopsy report on Michael Brown indicates he was shot at least six times, including twice in the head by Ferguson, Missouri cop, Darren Wilson on Saturday, August 9. One of the bullets struck the stop of Brown's head, suggesting he was bent forward, according to News 4. Four shots hit him in the arm. All of the bullet wounds were from the front.
One of the bullets shattered his right eye, traveled through his face, exited his jaw and re-entered his collarbone, according to the autopsy.
Dr. Michael Baden conducted the autopsy at the request of Brown's family. No gunpowder residue was found on Brown's body, which might indicate he was not shot at close range. Baden said he would need to examine the 18-year-old's clothes before making a final determination.
“It raises the same questions we had before,” said the family's attorney Anthony Gray. “The bullet marks on the body are consistent with the witness statements. To have a shot that’s at a 90-degree angle from the top of his skull to the bottom of his chin, almost vertical, that sounds like an officer standing over him."

Witnesses have indicated that Brown was 35 feet away, with his hands in the air, facing Wilson when the fatal shots were fired.
Early Monday morning, August 18, Gov. Jay Nixon called in the National Guard for assistance in restoring peace in Ferguson following a weekend of protests and civil unrest. On Saturday he declared a state of emergency and implemented a curfew.
“These violent acts are a disservice to the family of Michael Brown and his memory and to the people of this community who yearn for justice to be served and to feel safe in their own homes,” Nixon said in a statement.
News 4 reports that three school districts would be closed Monday following Sunday night's clashes between the police and citizens. Tear gas was fired into crowds and at least one shooting occurred.
Brown's family is still waiting on the results of autopsies conducted by the local coroner and a federal medical examiner, as ordered by the Justice Department.
Another witness, Piaget Crenshaw, has come forward with video that shows the shooting aftermath and Officer Wilson's reaction.
"I knew the police shouldn't have been chasing this young boy and firing at the same time," Crenshaw told CNN. "And the fact that he got shot in his face... Something clicked in me like, 'Somebody else has to see this. This isn't right, I gotta record.'"

Kid Ink ran into some trouble with police early this morning in Las Vegas. The "Main Chick" rapper was arrested at 1Oak nightclub in the Mirage Hotel just before 3 AM.
Cops received a call about a disturbance. Kid Ink's female companion had gotten into some kind of scuffle and was acting belligerent as they left the club. When security approached them, there was a confrontation with Kid's team.
According to TMZ, Kid was arrested and booked for disturbing the peace. His female friend was charged with giving police a false statement.
Kid Ink's reps say they were taking pictures when a disagreement between a third party and security went down. At that point police stepped in.
The rapper will have to appear in court on Monday.

The newly implemented curfew was ignored by many protesters leading to seven arrests on Saturday, August 16.
Residents were told earlier in the day to stay off of the streets between the hours of 12 AM and 5 AM. Police were ready for those that decided to venture out anyway.
Unlike Friday night when officers stood by and watched looters pillage businesses, arrests were made last night. Seven people on the roof of the Red's BBQ restaurant were taken into custody and charged with failure to disperse.
Other protesters shouted, "No Justice, No Curfew!" According to News 4, five armored police vehicles moved in. An officer used a loudspeaker to warn citizens still on the street: "You are in violation of a state-imposed curfew. You must disperse immediately. Failure to comply, may result in arrest."
Captain Ron Johnson with the Missouri Highway Patrol told News 4 that a male protester had been shot by another protester. The unidentified man is in critical condition.

Tear gas and smoke canisters were also used to push crowds off of the streets.
