With women coming out of the woodwork to accuse Bill Cosby of sexual assault, comedian Chris Rock reminded America about similar past accusations against Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

12351275282?profile=original

"I'm getting ready to say something real bad about [Ben] Roethlisberger," Rock told the audience at the Rotunda Cinemas on Tuesday, December 9. "He's the original Cosby."

It was a joke, but that's how Bill Cosby's current trouble's began after comedian Hannibal Buress joked about his past.

In 2008 Ben settled a civil lawsuit filed by a former Harrah's Lake Tahoe casino host, Andrea McNulty, claiming she had been raped by the player while he was in town for a celebrity golf tournament.

12351275679?profile=original

In 2010 Big Ben was again accused of sexual assault. The quarterback allegedly got a 20-year old (not legally old enough to consume alcohol) female student from Georgia College & State University drunk, before raping her in the bathroom at a Milledgeville, Georgia bar.

Although charges were eventually dropped due to lack of evidence, Ben was suspended four games in 2010 by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Double standard or not even comparable to Cosby's situation?

Diddy has been heated at Drake for months over the Boi-1da-produced hit record "0 to 100/ The Catch Up." He may not have gotten his hands on the YMCMB rapper until Monday, December 8, at Club Liv in Miami, but he had touched on the subject.

In Diddy's opinion Drake swiped his beat. Without mentioning the Toronto rapper by name he addressed the issue at a club in Miami back in June.

12351274067?profile=original

"I gave this shit to this nigga, this nigga stole it from me," Diddy says in video obtained by TMZ. "But at the end of the day the shit is still hard, play that shit."

Meanwhile, Champagne Papi was reportedly hospitalized with a shoulder injury after the altercation. He posted a couple of IG photos lounging in his hotel room that appear to show him doing just fine.

Cops investigating Earl Hayes' murder of his wife Stephanie Moseley and subsequent suicide discovered a large amount of high grade weed in their Los Angeles apartment.

TMZ reports that 10 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $40,000 was hauled off to the police lab under the watch of an armed guard to make sure it was transported safely.

That much weed would not be just for personal use.

The couple had been working on their relationship. Mosely, the star of the VH1 show "Hit the Floor," had recently told her family in Canada that "things were going pretty (well) and that she was upbeat and optimistic about things," homicide Detective Scott Masterson said, according to the Associated Press.

Investigators are trying to figure out why Hayes decided to kill his wife and himself on Monday, December 8.

As we previously reported, Earl Hayes was on FaceTime with Floyd Mayweather Jr. when he murdered his wife, Stephanie Moseley, before killing himself inside the couple's L.A. apartment

Hayes was upset because of his wife's prior relationship with Trey Songz. He also thought she had been unfaithful with Usher and Chris Brown.

12351260477?profile=original

Floyd advised Hayes to pack his bags and leave if he felt that way. TMZ reports that the boxing champion told him he was "weak" if he stayed and that Moseley was bad for his rap career.

At some point during the conversation Hayes told Floyd he was going to kill his wife. Floyd begged him not to and tried to calm the rapper, who was signed to his Philthy Rich record label down, but Earl had made his mind up.

12351269878?profile=original

Hayes barged into the bathroom where Moseley was bathing and fired 10-12 shots, hitting the star of VH1's "Hit the Floor" multiple times. Within minutes he had taken his own life as well.

The Los Angeles Police Department want to talk to Floyd because he witnessed the tragedy.

Earl Hayes "Suicide"

Hayes had previously rapped about killing himself and his girl in the song "Suicide." (Above).

The couple were married in 2008. Moseley was 30 years old and Hayes was 34 at the time of their deaths.

VH1 issued a statement on Moseley's passing:

12351270082?profile=original

“VH1 and the entire ‘Hit the Floor’ family send our thoughts and condolences to her family and friends in this difficult time,” the network said in a statement.

We've learned what caused the altercation between Diddy and Drake. TMZ reports the beef was over the song "0 to 100/The Catch Up."

Producer Boi-1da sent the beat to both artists to record a song. Puffy had it for eight months without laying down any vocals. Drizzy knew the track was hot and decided to move forward and record it solo.

The song performed well, charting in the U.S., Australia, the U.K. and Canada. It received nominations for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song at the upcoming 57th Annual Grammy Awards.

12351266895?profile=original

Fast forward to Monday, December 8, when Diddy saw Drake for the first time since the song was released. He confronted the YMCMB rapper outside of Club Liv in Miami Beach and was blown off. At that point the Bad Boy Records CEO told him, "You'll never disrespect me again," before punching him.

12351267290?profile=original

Drake aggravated an old shoulder injury during the altercation and had to be taken to the emergency room.

Star quarterback Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers has been transported to a local hospital in Charlotte following a two car accident.

The player's truck flipped several times after a car pulled out in front of him. The accident happened near the Panthers' training facility.

The Charlotte Observer tweeted a picture that appeared to show Cam smiling while being treated by emergency personnel.

12351275088?profile=original

There's no official word on his current condition.

**UPDATE**

12351276065?profile=original

Cam Newton suffered fractures to his lower back in this morning's accident. The good news is that he won't require surgery and there were no internal injuries, according to the Associated Press.

"Right now we have thought about Cam's well-being and we understand there was someone else in the other car who was injured," team spokesman Charlie Dayton said. "We just hope that they're all OK."

Newton is expected to be released from the hospital Wednesday after undergoing more tests.

Pics After The Jump

BERKELEY, Calif. (Associated Press) — Hundreds of people marched through Berkeley for a third night a row, blocking a major highway and stopping a train as activists in this ultra-liberal bastion protested grand jury decisions not to indict white police officers in the deaths of two unarmed black men on the other side of the country.

Police Protests California

Protesters blocked traffic on both sides of Interstate 80 in Berkeley, while another group stood and sat on train tracks, temporarily forcing an Amtrak train to stop Monday night.

460x.jpg

The California Highway Patrol said a large group of demonstrators destroyed highway perimeter fencing, flooded lanes and threw rocks and other objects at officers. It took about an hour and a half to clear the interstate, and no major injuries were reported.

460x.jpg

The agency arrested 150 people on suspicion of resisting arrest, obstructing police and other charges.

The Berkeley Police Department arrested an additional nine people, including a juvenile, Officer Jennifer Coats said early Tuesday. She described the latest protests as mostly peaceful, with no injuries and no reports of looting or damaged property. Police estimated the crowd at about 1,500 people.

460x.jpg

The protesters began peacefully marching Monday through downtown Berkeley. The first stop for demonstrators shouting, "Who do you protect? Peaceful protest" was the Police Department, where a line of officers in riot gear blocked them from getting close to the building. The group then headed to a Bay Area Rapid Transit train station and sat outside, prompting authorities to shut down the station briefly.

But as the night went on, the protesters divided into smaller groups who disrupted traffic and train passengers.

460x.jpg

"The cops need to know, the world needs to know, people of color are subjected to a brutal police state every day," Berkeley resident Johnny Nguyen told the Oakland Tribune (http://bit.ly/1wWOZSR ) on Monday evening.

Although many activists in other parts of the country have gone home, protests in Berkeley and Oakland are still active, reflecting the area's long history of protest dating to the 1960s.

The crowds that came out to protest are not college students or residents so much as full-time demonstrators who protest anything — war, prison conditions and economic inequality — and sometimes use demonstrations as a pretext for violence and vandalism, just as they did during the Occupy Wall Street movement.

460x.jpg

Merchants on Monday cleaned up broken glass and took stock of the previous night's looting. Five people were arrested Sunday after a protest turned violent, police said.

Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates said a tiny fraction of protesters obscured the wider message calling for reform of policing policies nationwide.

"The people in the Bay Area are sensitive to worldwide issues," Bates said. "Unfortunately, there is a small element that uses violence at times to make their point."

460x.jpg

In keeping with the city's protest history, Berkeley leaders have put limits on police. Officers cannot have search dogs, stun guns or helicopters and are restricted in the type of gear they can wear, said Sgt. Chris Stines, Berkeley police union president.

The protests started after a grand jury on Nov. 24 declined decision to indict Officer Darren Wilson in the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. A New York grand jury on Dec. 3 declined to prosecute a police officer captured on video applying a fatal chokehold on Eric Garner. That decision set off more demonstrations nationwide.

Oakland police have arrested about 200 people since the protests started.

Associated Press writers Olga R. Rodriguez in San Francisco and Christopher Weber in Los Angeles contributed to this report.
