It's been two years since A$AP Rocky released his debut album, Long.Live.A$AP. The 26-year old rapper, real name Rakim Myers, is ready to go with a new disc. No date is set, but he tells Billboard it's coming soon.

He also revealed surprise guest appearance by Lykke Li and FKA Twigs on the project.

12351455491?profile=original

You also have your sophomore album coming up. What's the state of it right now?

Honestly, it's finished. I'm mastering it right now. It's coming soon. Seriously soon.

Everyone's doing surprise albums -- Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt. What about you?

I don't consider it a surprise -- you put it out there and it's art, that's the surprise. I hope people are surprised by my album. I don't know what to expect, I just do what I do.

What about it will surprise people?
How diverse it is. People really don't know the other side of me. The deeper side, the more musical side, the more intellectual side. When I first came on the scene it was more of this trendy, bourgeois, pizazz attitude. That's still me but at the end of the day I think that kind of overshadowed the whole purpose of me doing what I do. I'm an incredibly diverse artist, I'm a universal artist. At least that's how I see it.

Who are some of the collaborators on the album?

I got one for you. [Long pause] Illz is thinking right now, like, "You know who it is!" Uh… [Long pause] Alright, fine. Three years ago, I did a song with Twigs.

FKA Twigs? Wow.

Also Lykke Li. Juicy J [who appears on single "Multiply"]. Clams Casino. I can't give nothing else away.

I mentioned Kendrick's album, To Pimp a Butterfly, which everyone's talking about right now. What do you think about it?

I didn't really get a chance to really listen to it yet. When I listened to it I was with the fellas chilling and smoking and listening through a laptop. I like it. It was a bit jazzy as opposed to his aesthetic from the last album, which had more versatility. I kinda feel like it was one mood with this one. I really need to give it a good listen and come back to it because I skimmed through it. But the production is amazing and his lyrics is impeccable as usual. And the concept alone, being black and proud? I'm all for it.

Otis Byrd

Video After The Jump

PORT GIBSON, Miss. (Associated Press) — Federal and state authorities are investigating the hanging death of a black man in Mississippi who had been missing for more than two weeks, the FBI said Thursday.

The investigation involves the FBI, the Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the United States Attorney's office. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is also involved.

The man was last seen March 2 and was reported missing by his family days later, FBI Supervisory Special Agent Jason Pack said in a statement. Pack says the cause of death has not been determined, and authorities aren't sure if it's a homicide or a suicide.

Jim Walker, a spokesman for the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, told The Associated Press that the body was found by the department's officers while they were searching for 54-year-old Otis Byrd of Port Gibson.

Walker said that about 25 minutes after the officers started the search, they found the body hanging in the woods about 200 yards from Byrd's house.

None of the authorities has positively identified the body that was found as Byrd's, however. Claiborne County Sheriff Marvin Lucas Sr. said a positive identification will not be available until the completion of an autopsy, which he said also should help determine whether the death was a homicide or a suicide. Lucas said the body has been sent to the state Crime Lab in Jackson. He said the body was found hanging by a bedsheet.

Walker said the body had "obvious signs" of decomposition, indicating it had been hanging there for more than one day.

Johnie Baker, 87, owns the land where the body was found.

Baker, who did not accompany authorities on the search, described it as an area of pecan and black walnut trees, frequented by hunters and home to several wild hogs.

According to Mississippi Department of Corrections public records viewed by the Clarion-Ledger, "Byrd spent a little over 25 years in prison for the murder of a white woman, Lucille Trimm, who he shot four times in Claiborne County. Records show he robbed her of $101. He was convicted of capital murder on Feb. 8, 1980, and was paroled Nov. 2, 2006."

Tucker reported from Washington. Associated Press Writer Jeff Amy in Jackson, Mississippi, contributed to this report.

In an explosive excerpt obtained by TMZ from an upcoming book by Lil Wayne the Young Money CEO speaks on finding out Drake smashed his girl while he was locked up in Rikers Island on a gun charge.

Weezy says he found out the news when Drake confessed while visiting him.

"Yeah, it's true. Don't fuck with her like that cause I did fuck her," Drake told his boss at the time.

12351443667?profile=original

Wayne goes on to write that it was a good thing he was incarcerated because he's not sure what he would have done to Drake had he not been.

"This is the type of shit that a man never wants to find out when he's locked up. Or, maybe so, cause only God knows what I would have done if I wasn't locked up right now," wrote Wayne. "I woke up feeling fucked up about the fucked up day that I had ... finding out that she fucked Drake was the absolute worst thing I could've ever found out. As a man, honestly, that shit hurt ... and not because it was Drake, it could have been any man. It would've hurt the same."

The revelation was confirmed by Wayne's girlfriend. She reportedly hooked up with Drake the day before she met Wayne.

The "Lollipop" hit maker says he was so depressed after hearing the news that he didn't come out of his prison cell for days.

12351444262?profile=original

The book doesn't have a release date yet, although publishers are said to be very interested in it. Wayne was in Rikers Island for 8 months in 2010.

Video After The Jump

Jhonni Blaze sat down with VladTV and shared her thoughts on Amber Rose beefing with Khloe Kardashian and Kanye West after they made comments about her past, specifically Khloe throwing Amber's past as a stripper in her face. Blaze says she felt it was a childish move, and knows that there will always be a stigma attached to being an exotic dancer. She also feels, however, that there are plenty of women who dance to pay for school, open up businesses and take care of their families knowing that they don't want to be a stripper forever, and use the money to build the life they really want. She also notes that many successful women, such as Eve and Lady Gaga, are also former strippers who worked their way out of that lifestyle.

She also briefly addresses her back and forth with Charlamagne and issue with the G4 Boyz. Peep the clip above.

When Drake told his 21 million Twitter followers that he did not support or have anything to do with a new documentary entitled "Drake's Homecoming: The Lost Footage," it caused irreparable damage, according to the film's distributor.

Specticast is now suing Drake for disavowing the film, which opens Thursday, March 19. According to TMZ, the company believes the Young Money artist did it to draw attention to his upcoming OVO Fest because he started to promote it on the social networking site after making the announcement.

12350550274?profile=original

The film features interviews with Jas Prince, the man who discovered Drake and footage from a 2009 concert in Toronto.

Both Jas and his father James Prince stand behind Drizzy's decision to pull his support.

This will ultimately be settled by a judge unless some sort of out of court deal is reached.

Mac Miller will have to put his lawyers to work to fight off a copyright infringement lawsuit by '70s soul/funk band Aquarian Dream.

Mac is being accused of using the band's song "Yesterday (Was So Nice Today)" without permission to create his own tune entitled "Faces."

TMZ reports that Aquarian Dream's reps reached out to Miller's people and were told that Mac had tried to contact them to clear the sample, but was unable to speak to anyone so he used it anyway.

The band's singer Jacques Burvick says they are asking a judge to award them $150,000 in damages.

Video After The Jump

The family of a mentally ill man shot and killed by two Dallas police officers are accusing the two cops of wrongdoing.

39-year-old Jason Harrison was holding a screwdriver that officers John Rogers and Andrew Hutchins deemed a lethal weapon. Within seconds of being confronted Harrison was laying face down, bleeding to death from multiple gunshots.

The incident occurred on June 14, 2014. The video, which was shot by one of the officer's body cam, has just been released by Harrison's family because they have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against both officers, claiming Harrison's civil rights were violated, according to Vice News.

12351444297?profile=original

Police were initially called to the residence by Harrison's mom, Shirley Marshall Harrison, who said her son was off of his bi-polar and schizophrenia medication. His erratic behavior alarmed her.

When officers Rogers and Hutchins arrived on the scene Harrison's mother opened the door and told them her son was "bi-polar" and "schizo" as she walked past them. Harrison soon appeared in the doorway behind her holding a screwdriver.

Both officers told Harrison to drop the screwdriver. Within seconds they drew their weapons and began firing, claiming he lunged at them.

Opinions by experts differ on whether the cops were justified in their actions.

“It’s the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” said Cecile Tebo, the former commander of the New Orleans Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Team, told The Dallas Morning News. “That was handled very poorly.”

“They did an absolutely perfect job,” said Keith Wenzel, a retired Dallas Police Department trainer. “There’s a lot of danger. He could take the screwdriver and put it right into the officer’s eye in less than a second. I would be very critical if the officer used a Taser."

Rogers and Hutchins remain on active duty.

View the wrongful death lawsuit documents here. Let us know your opinion in the comment section below.

Gansta Marcus Talks Violent Protestors

Gansta%2BMarcus%2B%282%29.JPG
Let every city in the world take a look at whats happening in Ferguson. Everything about this whole situation is wrong from the begining. It started off a shame the way the black community destroyed their own neiborhood that they reside in which also helped to make it easier for prosecutors not to have officer Darren Wilson locked up.
Someone need to give the people supervision, or let them hear something that they need to hear instead of turning on the news everyday and seeing another unarmed teenager shot to death. They need to get a better understanding that attacking police officers gets no support by the people they need support from.
We got a dose of the first protest with Trayvon Martin. Civil rights leaders and parents of teenager attend protests over acquittal of George Zimmerman in Florida trial. Although Zimmerman was cleared on charges, the community in over 100 cities still used peaceful protests to get their statement out. Trayvon Martin's mother choked back tears as a crowd of 2000 New Yorkers chanted We love you.
The actions that are being taken in Ferguson is starting to make the black community look bad as a whole. We now have college student not wanting minorities at their schools, songs and chants are being created that uses the nigger word in it, etc. Do anyone see where this is headed? Their is too much hate from both the race sides that still lives within our communities today.
Now the chief of police has resigned in Ferguson, and behind his resignation, two police officers are shot hours later in a protest that was dying down. I don't know what the motive was behind the shooting or what caused it, but i'm sure this is going to escalade into worst actions than before.
Isabel Eugene, 16, who also attended the rally in Miami, said: “Before Trayvon Martin, we took precautions, but now it's worse. Not just with the police killing minorities, but also with minorities and protestors handling it the wrong way. In some cases, its not good for us to take the upper hand. At some point and time, I hope this all comes to a cease.
