In April of 2013 Kid Cudi left Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music label. He released a statement at the time saying there were no hard feelings.
"Man, everything is cool," the Cleveland rapper said. "Everything is peace with everybody on the label. There's never been any issues, but I am announcing that I'm no longer on G.O.O.D. Music. And this is something that no one knows, really. I'm no longer on G.O.O.D. Music."
On Wednesday, September 14, Cudi went on a Twitter rant that suggests he didn't reveal his true feelings when he exited stage left.
"I need yall to know I got so many haters within the industry and these clowns know Im bout to crush their entire existance," he began. "Everyone thinks they're soooo great. Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them. Let me tell you something. The days of the fuckery are over. The fake ones wont be lasting too much longer. Im the one they worry about cause they know I dont give a fuck about the corny shit they do. And all u jealous chicken hearted shits I see you too. I am the culture. I keep silent because I dont ever wanna come off like some angry hater, but today, not only do I feel fantastic, Im feelin like taking over. I already have."
Cudi then got more specific about the targets of his diatribe, when he named both Kanye and Drake.
"My tweets apply to who they apply. Ye, Drake, whoever. These niggas dont give a fuck about me. And they aint fuckin with me," the Day 'N' Night hitmaker continued. "Niggas keep you close when they see how powerful you are by yourself. When they see your greatness. Out of fear. Ive been loyal to those who haven't been to me and that ends now. Now im your threat. Anybody got a issue with my words im glad. If you feel me, dont be scared to use your voice. I was for so long out of blind loyalty. From here Ill let the music speak. As you were, peace and love to my supporters and true ones."
Well, Damn!

It wasn't long before Boyette's campaign started to get national media exposure.
“I have pretty much everything he’s ever made in my iPod," she told USA Today in June.
She said her teammates were not always the most supportive.
“They think I’m ridiculous. I just love 50 Cent," she explained.
Boyette wasn't sure if her idol would grant her request and said she would "probably cry" if he did.
Just when it looked like her efforts were going to be futile the "In Da Club" hit maker reached out to Boyette via his Instagram account in late June.
"Imani I'm coming to see you play soon as I can. I just have to check when your playing so I can fly in," he wrote."
Boyette was ecstatic, writing on Twitter: "YALL IM CRYING! #wnba20for50 is alive and well!! LOOK AT GOD! Won't he do it?!"

Birdman is not happy with the way he's being portrayed publicly as contract negotiations between Cash Money Records and Lil Wayne have reached an impasse.
As we previously reported, Wayne filed a $51 million breach of contract lawsuit against the label in January of 2015.
The suit claims that Cash Money violated the deal in three ways.
1. Not paying Wayne an $8 million advance when he began recording "Tha Carter V" in December 2013.
2. Failing to pay Wayne an additional $2 million upon completion of the album a year later.
3. Refusing to release the album.
TMZ reports that Wayne's recent retirement talk and the perception that Stunna won't release "Tha Carter V" has the record mogul feeling like he's being made to look like the bad guy, when that's not the case.
Sources close to Birdman told TMZ that he can't release the album because Weezy refuses to hand it over.
Wayne's camp says it's going to remain that way until he's properly compensated financially. The rapper vows not to leak "Tha Carter V" because he's not going to give it away for free.
Fans can only hope this situation gets worked out sooner rather than later.

Tidal is still trying to find it's footing in the ultra-competitive music streaming business.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Jay Z's firm Aspiro AB, the Swedish holding company for Tidal, booked a net loss of 239.5 million Swedish crowns ($28.23 million) in 2015.
The list of artists on the company's roster is impressive.
Kanye West, T.I., Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay Z, Usher, Madonna, Alicia Keys, Prince, J. Cole, Chris Martin, Calvin Harris, Prince, Daft Punk, Jack White, Arcade Fire, Jason Aldean and deadmau5 all release exclusive content through Tidal.
However, the competition from rivals Apple Music and Spotify is proving to be very stiff.
Couple that with the ease in which fans can get music for free and you can start to see what Tidal is up against.
According to the Wall Street Journal, "A person familiar with the matter said the financial statement doesn’t paint a complete picture of the situation at Tidal because it doesn’t reflect all U.S. revenue and financing."
Jay Z bought Aspiro in January of 2015 for $56 million.

Shannon Sharpe asked Wayne if the beef with Birdman was real or manufactured.
"This is business," the "Lollipop" hit maker replied. "When it businesses involved ... I have a family. I have kids. I have a mother. We got bills. Once the business is right, then everything is right. So, I did feel that way. And I didn't take the tweet down because I said I still feel that way. And until something is done about it, then maybe it will change."
Wayne added that there's no way that he can ever work with Birdman again.
"Gimme mine and I'll walk off free, smiling."
Artists like Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Young Thug publicly threw their support behind Wayne after the tweet.
The Young Money Records boss said he expected that from Drizzy, but was surprised by Thug and Kendrick coming to his defense because he doesn't know them as well.
