I believe that hip hop is dying, and today's generation does not know what real hip hop is. I grew up in the 90's when "Classic Hip Hop" was just known as hip hop. The major artists of that time influenced my sound: Eminem/D12, Dr. Dre/NWA, Ludacris, 2Pac, Notorious BIG, etc. I am trying to keep classic hip hop alive and create a sound that is nostalgic. I (want to) include elements in my songs such as scratches, samples, and other things that bring back memories of when hip hop was ground-breaking. If there is one goal that I want to accomplish with my career, it is to educate the current generation while being saluted by the previous generations and represent the "Golden Era of Hip Hop" as much as the artists of then represented themselves.

From the introduction Harlem native, HoZ brings a heavy dose of what's to be expected from this mixtape. "...Tell them that good music is here and it ain't ever going back" he raps, letting the listener know the focus of this project. Good music. 8th Wonder was made to bring back the feeling of when rap was more than a popularity contest. From the songs meant to inspire, to songs displaying amazing creativity, to songs that show his ability to just flat out rap, 8th wonder has something for everyone. Listen in as HoZ displays to the world why he is the 8th Wonder.

Snoop Dogg has another alter ego he's rolled out this week. The rapper introduced a character in whiteface named Todd.
"I like to paintball, crochet and do a little spoken word in my free time," Todd says. "My bros want me to tell you about this new website White Guys Connect, where white guys look for fly single females to have a good time. Give us a call."
The only problem is, no such website exists. It's obvious the rapper is gearing up for something. Could be a skit on a talk show or his on GGN News show on YouTube. The answer should come soon. Until then we'll all be left scratching our heads.
Check out a few of Todd's videos below.
