2 Chainz has been placed under arrest after a bizarre 9-hour stand-off with police in Oklahoma City. It all started after the rapper's tour bus was pulled over by police for because the tail lights were out. Cops say there was immediate evidence of drug use. The driver was arrested immediately. Afterwards the tour bus doors were shut and locked, preventing police from boarding.
The standoff lasted for 9 hours before police obtained a search warrant. 11 people on the bus, including Tity Boi were taken into custody for "interfering with the police process," according to TMZ.
It's not known if additional charges will be filed.
2 Chainz was in town as part of the America's Most Wanted Tour with T.I. and Lil Wayne.

Police in Oklahoma City discovered two semi-automatic pistols and a 12-gauge pump shotgun along with some prescription painkillers and marijuana residue on a tour bus occupied by rapper 2 Chainz and 10 other men, according to documents filed Tuesday in Oklahoma County District Court.
The men were arrested Aug. 22 after refusing to get off the bus following a traffic stop. The 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, had performed with Lil Wayne and T.I. in Oklahoma City the previous night.
2 Chainz and the others were charged with obstructing a police officer, a misdemeanor. All were released after paying $2,000 bail.
The Oklahoman newspaper reports ( http://bit.ly/14nXp2J ) police who searched the bus found two .40-caliber semi-automatic pistols and a partial box of ammunition for them, according to the documents. Twenty shells for the 12-gauge shotgun also were seized.
Police found the prescription medications hydrocodone and Flexeril but without prescriptions, according to the search warrant return. Officers also reported discovering marijuana residue along with metal grinders and smoking papers with marijuana residue.
An affidavit filed last week says an officer pulled over the bus on Interstate 40 because its rear taillights were not working.
The officer smelled marijuana when the driver opened the door, the affidavit says, and the officer "could actually see smoke inside the bus around the door." The affidavit also says a passenger on the bus, Abdullah Mujahid, shook his head "no" when he was ordered to get off and held up a small copy of the U.S. Constitution.
The Atlanta-based rapper, initially known as Tity Boi, was a member of the rap duo Playaz Circle before going solo. His 2012 debut album, "Based on a T.R.U. Story," topped the Billboard charts. His new album, "B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time," is set to be released.

Star of the Troi Torain Show and Star and Buc Wild sat down with Vlad TV recently to talk about conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh's recent comments that he should be allowed to use the N-word.
"He most certainly does [have a pass]. Rush is my homie," Star said. "Rush Limbaugh can use the N-Word, and many other caucasians who are of today's dominant culture of Hip Hop can use it. V-Nasty, my main n*gga on the trigger. I love to hear V-Nasty use the N-Word, I f*ck with her her heavy. She lives the culture. She's got mixed mutt kids. Caucasians created the N-Word, why can't they f*cking use it?"

With 2 successful albums under his belt, J. Cole has established himself as a force that's here to stay. But have his light skinned features helped him become a star?
Cole recently sat down for an interview with BET. He explains why he believes his skin color has been a blessing in disguise for him.
You’ve talked about including dark-skinned women in your music videos versus all light-skinned women. The light-skinned, dark-skinned issue certainly affects women in hip hop; does it affect men in hip hop?
I can’t say it for sure but I just think we’re still in America. We’re still Black Americans. Those mental chains are still in us. That brainwashing that tells us that light skin is better, it’s subconsciously in us, whether we know it or not… still pursuing light skin women. There are some women out there that are like, “I don’t even like light skin men” and that’s fine. But Barack Obama would not be President if he were dark skin. You know what I mean? That’s just the truth. I might not be as successful as I am now if I was dark skin. I’m not saying that for sure, I’m still as talented as I am and Obama is still as smart as he is, but it’s just a sad truth… I don’t even know if this is going to translate well into text and people not hearing what I’m saying, but it’s a sad reality. So I can only naturally assume it’s probably easier for a light skin male rapper than it might be for a dark skin male rapper. It’s all subconscious sh*t, nobody’s aware — I think that sh*t still subconsciously affects us.
Do you agree with Cole's comments?

Kendrick Lamar's verse on Big Sean's song "Control" not only fired up fellow rappers, fans and critics, it also boosted sales of his Good Kid, M.A.A.D City album.
The disc sold 9,000 copies last week, propelling it back into the top 40 albums. It leap-frogged from the No. 52 spot up to No. 36, according to HipHopDX, citing Nielsen Soundscan statistics.
The boost pushed the album over the 1 million mark in sales. It had previously been certified platinum in June by the Recording Industry of America (RIAA) for 1 million units shipped.
Definitely great news for K. Dot, Top Dawg Entertainment and Aftermath.

Kanye West's problems with the paparazzo he attacked at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) last month just got a lot bigger.
TMZ reports that the photographer has hired high powered lawyer Gloria Allred to represent him in a lawsuit against the rapper.
Allred is known for taking high profile cases and negotiating large financial settlements for her clients, so West can expect to cough up a large sum of money.
The videographer was treated for contusions and a muscle strain at Marina del Rey Hospital.following his scuffle with West.
The G.O.O.D. Music CEO was initially charged with felony assault and attempted-robbery by police, but the district attorney's office declined not to pursue the case. Deputy Dist. Atty. Amy-Hannah Broersma said the felony assault charges were rejected because the victim "did not sustain significant injuries." The attempted robbery charge was not considered because there was insufficient evidence of any "specific intent," according to the L.A. Times.
However, the case was referred to the L.A. City Attorney, who is still deciding whether or not to prosecute West.
It was thought the case would be settled with Kanye reaching a civil compromise with the pap to make the case go away. The freelance photographer obviously decided that he could get far more money from the entertainer by filing the lawsuit.
Allred will be holding a news conference today at 1 PM PT to discuss the case, according to TMZ. Watch footage of the incident below.
**UPDATE**
Gloria Allred held a news conference earlier today with her client Daniel Ramos by her side. Allred detailed Ramos' version of events, announced that she had filed a lawsuit against Kanye, then detailed part of the suit..
"Today we have filed a lawsuit against Kanye West in L.A. County Superior Court, alleging assault, battery, negligence and interference with Danny's civil rights," said Allred. "We are seeking general and punitive damages. In addition we are seeking injunctive relief. We are asking the court for an order preventing Mr. West from touching, striking, annoying, molesting, contacting, attacking, threatening or otherwise interfering with...directly or indirectly Daniel Ramos. And or the right of Danny and all persons seeking to pursue the occupation of photographer."
Daniel said he had spent two week on crutches and is still in pain.
"When Kanye West attacked me I was in complete shock," he said "All I had done was ask him a question I was was terrified when Kanye started to come at me. I backed up because I felt from the look in his eyes, he was going to attack me."
This isn't looking good for Yeezy.
