Video After The Jump

As we previously reported, Lil Wayne defended his decision to pull Nicki Minaj out of Summer Jam 2012 by saying he felt that women should never be disrespected. Weezy was referring to comments Hot 97 on air personality Peter Rosenberg made about Nicki's song "Starships" the day of the concert.

That’s a female; first and foremost Nicki Minaj is a female,” Wayne said backstage at Birthday Bash 17 in Atlanta. “I don’t know what anyone else believes, but I believe females deserve the ultimate respect at all times, no matter when or where or how.”

Rosenberg fired back at the Young Money CEO by playing some of his lyrics that don't seem to be showing females a lot of the respect he was referring to.

Check out Peter's response below.

If there is an interviewer better than Nardwuar in terms of the amount of research he does prior sitting down with an artist, or in this case an athlete, I would like to see them because this guy is on point.

During this conversation with Metta World Peace he takes him back to his hometown of Queens, New York by gifting him with vinyl records from Metta's favorite artist Tragedy Khadafi and also MC Shan. They also talk about basketball players who have rapped including Dennis Scott, Gary Payton, Shaquille O'Neal, the late Malik Sealy and more.

When Floyd Mayweather Jr. entered the ring to face Miguel Cotto on Saturday May 5, 2012 many people were surprised to see him accompanied by Justin Bieber.

On the surface the two wouldn't seem to have much in common, but Money May took a liking to Bieber after a chance meeting and is now mentoring him and has made him a member of the money team.

After I met him, we just connected and exchanged numbers and started talking,” Bieber told VIBE.com He gives me advice about business and how to make sure I’m being taken care of. He’s Money Mayweather. He wants to make sure I’m making the right investments.

Bieber said the experience of walking out with the champ's belts along with 50 Cent was a memorable one.

He asked me to walk him out and I was like of, course,” Bieber said. “I had the belts, me and 50, It was a lot of fun. I’m used to screams, but these were different because they weren’t as high pitched. These were older guys, so it was more like yeah (says roaring) and not like aaah (high pitched squeal).”

Don't expect any more fireworks between Lil Wayne and Pusha T because Weezyhas moved past their brief beef.

After Pusha released "Exodus 23:1" aimed at Drake and YMCMB, Wayne quickly shot back with his own diss track "Ghoulish," but now he says that is all behind him. In an interview with the Associated Press, Weezy said he's focused on upcoming albums and his clothing line.

AP: What's next musically? And what happened in the beef between you and Pusha T?

Lil Wayne: I just finished recording my "I Am Not a Human Being II" album. And we're starting to work on the Young Money album. ... It really wasn't no beef, you know. It was just me. I just reacted. Just a reaction, a simple reaction. I don't apologize for it because I'm human. But it was just my human reaction. I don't take it back. But there's no beef. Beef is a whole different thing. ... I'll move on.

AP: Do you consider yourself the most stylish rapper out there? How has your style evolved?

LW: I do not consider myself the most stylish rapper out there. I'd say if I had to consider someone the most stylish rapper out there, I would definitely say that would be a Kanye West or a Andre 3000. ... Yes it (my style) has evolved because I was one of the guys that would "geek chic" it every now and then. ... Now I'm just more into whatever works for me. I think that's just age.

AP: What do you bring to skateboarding and why do you like it?

LW: Skating has so many styles. Once you pick up a skateboard, you'll find out that it's not a hobby, it's not a sport, it's a lifestyle. There's so many styles to it that people enjoy that I bring a new one. ... I love a challenge. ... It's fun as hell to fall and to not get something and then to finally land it. That's like pursuing a girl that said no a hundred times and she finally say yeah. That's what it feels like every single time.

AP: How did you start a clothing line?

LW: It was brought to me by my friends and peers. They was like, "Dude, you dress your own way and people follow that. You probably should have your own clothing line." And it was just that easy.

AP: You also have a soda endorsement deal but don't come across as a businessman like some of your peers. Do you deliberately keep it separated from your public persona?

LW: When it comes to me, myself, I'm very free-spirited, so that's what you see, and that's what you get - you as in the public eye. But when it comes down to business, I believe that business shouldn't be done in the public's eye anyway. And I believe that business shouldn't be handled in the magazines anyway. Business should be handled in the room amongst the people you're doing business with. And that's how I handle my business. And once I come out of that room, I'm back to being who I am. And that's why I don't come off as the businessman or nothing, but at the end of the day you can always say: "... This guy's stock keeps rising and there is no driving force behind it but him."

AP: Are your business ambitions greater than your music ambitions?

LW: I can honestly say my music is always going to be greater than my business side. Because I'm naturally a musician. And I don't have to get paid, I don't even have to have businesses. I will still do music. So that will always be my greater thing. ... Business is business. And music is life.

AP: This is presidential campaign season. Do you plan to get political at all? Do you plan to go out and encourage kids to vote?

LW: I do. ... And that comes from age, and that comes from my vacation on Rikers Island (the New York City jail where Wayne did time in in 2010). Now that I know how important voting and elections and all that is. ... But everybody know that life is going to be life regardless of who is president.

With his Vampire Life clothing movement already making noise Jim Jones is ready to bring the world new visuals and music from The Diplomats.

After announcing they would be making a comeback two years ago the group released the song "Salute" and has since played spot concerts here and there including a surprise appearance during Drake's set this past weekend at sold out Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, New York. But there still has been no full album from Capo, Cam'Ron, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey.

Jones insists a disc is forthcoming though. He told MTV that he and Killa have been in the lab. The first offering will be a Lil Wayne assisted single entitled "Have You Ever Made Love to a Diplomat."

"Me and Killa has been working diligently together and recording and things like that. So, everything is moving not as fast as everybody else would want it to, but it's moving just on time for us," Jim said. "The Diplomat album is definitely in the works."

Jones said he hopes the recording of the reunion album will be the subject of a reality show, which would lead up to the December release of the album.

How important is "The Dark Knight Rises" to you? Would you pay $150 to be the first to see Christopher Nolan's conclusion to his Batman trilogy at a midnight showing? Well, scalpers on eBay and Craigslist are hoping you will.

Advanced tickets for "The Dark Knight Rises" went on sale a week ago, and midnight shows quickly filled up, taking away opportunities from fans hoping to be the first to learn the fate of Gotham City and its Dark Knight. Since then, some of those tickets have gone back up for sale, with price tags inflated 80 percent in some cases, ScreenCrush reports.

A quick search on eBay revealed that not only are those reports true, but in some cases, the price has even gone up. The most common price is staying around the $150 mark, with tickets for the "Dark Knight Trilogy" marathon soaring even higher.

But is there something to the ridiculously high price? What makes those early showings so much more valuable than a matinee the following Sunday? There certainly is something to being among the first people to see it, but that gives the ticket-holder little more than bragging rights. The idea of looking forward to a movie now requires that you see it as soon as possible. After waiting four years, scalpers are betting that waiting just a few hours more will be enough to make fans cough up an extra $135 to see "The Dark Knight Rises" sooner.

Many would say that seeing the film as early as possible is the best way to avoid the deluge of spoilers on Twitter and Facebook. There have been a handful of minor spoilers posted online, but for the most part, the story and secrets of "The Dark Knight Rises" have stayed surprisingly unspoiled. The ad campaigns have focused on a few key questions, like whether Bruce Wayne will survive the final movie.

A representative from the online ticket outlet Fandango said the company's standing policy is that any ticket re-sold is declared invalid, so if you are considering purchasing a set of tickets for $300, you might want to consider this. Though the policy would be difficult to enforce, it's something to keep in mind if you're weighing your options.

How much would you be willing to pay to see "The Dark Knight Rises" at midnight on July 20 on an IMAX screen? Leave your responses in the comments below or tweet them via @KPSull.

Meek Mill has broken his silence regarding the brawl that occurred last week between Chris Brown and members of Drake's entourage. Mill spoke with XXL and said neither Drake or Brown were involved in the brawl.

Chris and Drake, them two was there but its other people that be around that take sh*t to the next level,” Meek told XXL. “Things just happen in the club. I seen girls in there throwing bottles, all types of sh*t. All types of people. I never seen Chris Brown or Drake throw a bottle and I was there.”

Meek also denied being involved in the fight that left at least 8-people, including Brown injured.

"F*ck no," Mill replied when asked if he threw a bottle. What [Brown] tweeted was just that me and Meek Mill ain’t got no problem. I talked to him immediately after that, on the phone afterwards, like immediately, like, ‘There’s nothing there, this-that-and-the-third.’ Chris Brown be in clubs. He be around situations like this. Things get out of hand that don’t mean it’s out of hand with me and him or whoever, not even him and Drake.
