Meek Mill may have a growing hit record on his hands with the song "Amen," but he has angered at least one pastor in his hometown of Philadelphia.

The song which appears on Meek Mill's Dream Chasers 2 mixtape already has millions on youtube hits and is slated to be the first single on Meek's debut album Dreams and Nightmares.

Pastor Jomo K. Johnson, the author of the book 'Deadest Rapper Alive' is has taken it upon himself to revoke Meek's hood pass and is calling on fans to boycott the MMG rapper.

In audio posted on Johnson's blog about the song he accuses Meek of blasphemy and cowardice for "using the church as a platform to spew some very sinful and disgusting things 'thanking the Lord for good p*ssy.'"

Johnson further criticizes Meek and other rappers such as Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Lil Wayne for disrespecting Christianity in their songs and not the Muslim faith. He argues that rappers are afraid to disrepect Islam because it would put their lives in physical danger.

Check out what else Johnson has to say about Meek and the song below and let us know if you agree with what he is saying or think he's going overboard.

As a Hip Hop Fan and Pastor in North Philadelphia, I am saddened to have heard Meek Mill’s new song “Amen” off his Dream Chaser’s 2 mixtape. My church is a just a few blocks away from where Meek aka Robert Williams grew up at, and he is widely respected as a great rapper and hometown native. But with this latest song Mr. Williams has displayed a great disrespect for Philadelphia’s Christian community.

Williams is following the same cowardice path of many popular Hip Hop artists by using disturbing analogies in their music in comparison with the Christian Church. None of these rappers choose to demean or castigate the religion of Islam, only because doing so would put their lives in physical danger. Instead they choose to blasphemously insult the church, the Bride of Jesus, by comparing it to a club, sexual brothel, or by thanking the Lord for “good p*ssy”.

As a Pastor it hurts me to say that Meek Mill, with this song, has mimic’d his mentor by becoming a ‘blasphemous bastard’ through his music. It is my hope that he and other similar artists will recognize the seriousness of their error and acknowledge this sin by confessing it to the Lord Jesus Christ. All of us have sinned, and the Lord is more than willing to forgive those who confess those sins and turn to him in faith.

And finally, as a Hip Hop fan, I want to encourage every Rap Fan in Philadelphia who is a believer in Jesus Christ, to boycott Meek Mill until he acknowledges this blatant disrespect. And being resident of North Philadelphia and Pastor, I revoke Meek’s ‘hood pass’ until this happens. If he appears at the upcoming concert at Fairhill Park, we as a Church will be there to meet him.

Trae Tha Truth is opening up about the shooting this week that left him with a bullet lodged in his shoulder and three other people dead. As we previously reported, Trae was outside of Scores Cabaret in Houston Wednesday morning when shots rang out.

The T.I. affiliate spoke with XXL about the incident.

I’m not sure exactly what the altercation was necessarily about, but long story short, whatever transpired, they ran in my direction, so in the process of running in my direction, that kind of had everybody in the open,” Trae told XXLMag.com. “So as the altercation came my way, shots were being dispersed, but since it was coming our direction, it was a crowd of people. Everybody was wrong place, wrong time. As far as my condition, I’m in the healing process, tryin’ to figure out how to get this bullet removed. The bullet’s still in my shoulder. They changing bandages now and it’s still bleeding.”

Two close associates of the rapper lost their lives during the shooting.

One of ‘em, most definitely, was part of the ABN family,” he said. “My brother, who got killed on Thanksgiving, Clip, his nephew was killed. And one of my peoples, an upcoming rapper from Houston, Cal Wayne, one of his people got killed, too. She was amongst the innocent bystanders. And then I was shot and somebody else was shot. It was just crazy, man.”

Trae told XXL that he has received support from many in the industry including T.I., Lupe Fiasco, 2 Chainz, Big Sean and more. He added that most of the feedback he has gotten has been positive, but there has been some negative backlash.

I watched the news out here yesterday, and people was comin’ out the woodworks with all this, ‘This ’cause of hip-hop,’” he lamented. “Muthaf*ckas don’t even know the situation. I was an innocent goddam bystander. People always make sh*t more than what it is. That’s why I haven’t talk to nobody [in the media] about the sh*t. I had news people showing up at my doorstep. I don’t even entertain that negative sh*t. I been in the negative life so long, I’m trying to move forward. The bad things are having to watch those who were killed, who got kids, having to deal with that. That’s a real f*cked up thing.”

SOHH caught up with G-Unit rapper Kidd Kidd recently to get his opinion on the most underrated MC in the game. Kidd didn't have to think hard about his choice. The New Orleans native picked someone close to home who was on  the verge of doing big things before being cut down in his prime.

I'mma say ... hmm.. now I'm from New Orleans, so I gotta go with Soulja Slim.

Rest in peace, Soulja Slim. He was the realest rapper. I live in the same city he lived in and I see what he was about, and not on no rap sh*t

I'mma go with Soulja Slim and I'mma say why: Because I feel like he didn't get a chance to make his mark on the game. He didn't get a chance to show everybody, meaning the world, the same stuff that we know down here in New Orleans. I feel like if he woulda did that, he would really changed the game.

Being from New Orleans, now it's all on me to do that. Now they look at me like, "You a Soulja Slim" and that just come from being a real dude and taking that to the rap game. So Soulja Slim, definitely. Soulja Slim all day for most underrated.

Video After The Jump

On June 9, 2012 the boxing world saw what many believed to be a Manny Pacquiao victory over Timothy Bradley. The judges didn't see it that way however. Bradley was given a split decision over Pacquiao sparking a public outcry for an investigation into the judging.

Most who saw the fight watched it on HBO PPV with their announcing team of Max Kellerman, Jim Lampley, Emanuel Steward and Harold Lederman. Questions have been raised about whether their biased calling of the fight affected the way most people viewed the outcome.

A new video has popped up on youtube analyzing the fight from every angle. Watch it below and it might give you a different take on who won.

Witnesses said more than 20 shots were fired at the scene. At this point there have been no arrests made.

**UPDATE**

This morning's deaths come just six months after the murder of Trae's close friend Money Clip D who was shot outside of Breakers nightclub on Bissonet in Houston.

MyFoxHouston is reporting that a woman that knew one of this morning's victim's said "that it was clear to her someone was going after Trae Tha Truth and anyone associated with him."

Trae's spokeswoman Tiffany, who identified herself as the community outreach director for Angels by Nature, Trae's non-profit organization. denied that account however.

"Oh, no, he wasn't a target. He definitely wasn't a target," said Tiffany. "He just happened to be coming outside. He was taking pictures and signing autographs and kind of just got caught in the crossfire."

Story still developing.

Lil Wayne has ended his beef with Pusha T and he's urging Drake to do the same thing with Chris Brown. The high profile feud between Drizzy and Brown could start affecting the bottom line and that is something Weezy is not going to let happen.

TMZ is reporting that Wayne, Birdman, Mack Maine and others urging him to reach out to Brown to squash their their differences and move on with the business of making money. YMCMB have collaborated with Brown several times in the past and know the singer makes hit records.

As many of you may recall, Drake and Brown were involved in a bottle throwing brawl at club W.I.P. in New York last Wednesday that left eight people injured, several of whom have already hired lawyers and plan to sue.

According to this new report Drake doesn't want to reach out to Brown until he knows for sure Breezy won't blame him for starting the brawl.

YMCMB is on Drake's side no matter what, but one source says,  "Making money matters most."
