The actor explains that there are a lot of parallels in Fif and the main character Ghost, and Luis adds that the Queens rapper's life inspired story lines for the show.
During the conversation Ramos also detailed how he landed his role, and revealed it came about at a very opportune time when a show he was working on got cancelled.

Just hours after attending a stop the violence event with Chicago Bulls star Joakim Noah, Lil Durk's manager, Uchenna Agina a.k.a. OTF Chino, was gunned down on a Chicago street.
According to The Chicago Sun Times, Agina, 24, was sitting in a car in the Avalon Park neighborhood.when a gunman walked up around 1:50 a.m. and opened fire.

Agina was driven by a friend to Advocate Trinity Hospital where he was declared dead at 2:04 a.m.
“Chino was a good dude,” said DJ Bandz manager Devin Jackson. “He took care of the business. That is what he was known for. They know if they pull the trigger and discharge a gun they are going to do damage or someone is going to lose their life."
Agina's death follows the fatal shooting of Durk's 21-year old cousin McArthur Swindle a.k.a. OTF Nunu, on May 31, 2014

Noreaga sat down with VladTV and shared his story of signing a record deal and shooting someone on the same day.
The Lefrak MC begins by saying his projects had a lot of haters who would rub it in every time he was seen in the hood while also making moves in the industry, saying most people don't realize that just because you're on the radio or get signed doesn't mean you're automatically rich.
He was eventually signed by Penalty Records after freestyling on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show the night before. Penalty gave him, Capone, and Combat Jack $5,000 each in cash. Still, that didn't change the fact that he lived in the PJ's, so on his way home, he ran into someone who continued with the slick comments, admitting he lost his temper and fired on him.
