A former female protégé ofToo Shortis accusing him of rape.
TMZ reports that an investigation into the allegations has been launched by police. The alleged victim claims that on November 1, 2016, Short, born Todd Shaw, sexually assaulted her at a Los Angeles home.
She has participated in various music projects and videos alongside the rapper. She says her provocative actions in the videos were not an invitation for sex because she's a virgin.
The assault wasn't reported to police until a month later.
Short denies the allegation. The 50-year old multi-platinum selling artist says the woman is trying to extort him after being dropped from his label.
Sources close to Short say the alleged victim made the story up following her release. Since then she has asked to get back on the label.

KXNG Crooked fka Crooked I flows so effortlessly and with so many bars it wouldn't be surprising if other emcees heard his new "Cut You Loose" freestyle and threw their mics away. Peep it up top to see what we mean.

He is doing his thing and buzzing all over! His songs are hot and the music videos are going viral with views adding over 700,000+ on YouTube! The boy is a beast, period!
Ask any rapper what they think of their skills and he or she will tell you they are the best ... period. That bravado or confidence is a part of the competitive nature of hip hop.
However, there are very few spitters that will compare themselves to Tupac Shakur. Much less, boldly proclaim that they are better than the late hip hop icon, who is widely considered to be the best to ever pick up a mic.
Apparently,Joey Bada$$didn't get that memo. During a recent interview with Genius the 22-year old Brooklyn, New York native gave 2Pac props for being one of his influences, but added that a battle between them would be no competition.
"I already know I'm a better rapper that 2Pac is. That's just facts. One-on-one battle, I'll flame 'Pac," Joey said.
After criticism started to come his way for the comments, Joey took to his Twitter account to defend himself.
"When I said I was better than PAC (my favorite rapper of all time) I was refering to rap skill. Bar for bar. Not accolades or influence," he wrote. "And I back myself 1000 times to that fact... media like twisting up the words but that's I meant when I said it for all you butt hurt bozos. Being said that I’ll leave any further addressing to the #BadassDefenseSquad."

Kalief Browder committed suicide on June 6, 2015, at the age of 22, but in many ways he actually began slowly dying years prior.
Browder was arrested in May of 2010 in the Bronx, New York, at the age of 16 for allegedly stealing a backpack. Ordinarily, he would have been released right away because he was a juvenile, however because he was already on probation the judge in the case ordered Browder to be held in Rikers Island, with his bail set at $3500.
Unable to make bail, Browder spent three years in Rikers without a conviction. Two of those years he was held in solitary confinement.
Browder refused to take a plea deal, insisting he was innocent. While in jail he endured beatings by guards and other inmates. He attempted suicide six times while incarcerated.
In June of 2013, his case was dismissed without ever going to trial.
Jay Z wanted to she light on this tragic story. He partnered with the Weinstein Co. to produce a docu-series on Browder and the criminal justice system titled "Time: The Kalief Browder Story."
