It's been 13 years sinceThe Matrix Revolutionshit theaters. It was supposed to be the third and final film in the revolutionary sci-fi thriller series that grossed nearly$1.8 billion worldwide.
Now, however there is talk that The Matrix may be rebooted.
Deadline reports that Warner Bros is looking into possibilities to make it work. A group of writers are rumored to have been assembled to figure out a way to breathe new life into the franchise.
At this point it's not known if any of main actors, Keanu Reeves (Neo), Laurence Fishburne (Morpheus) or Carrie Ann Moss (Trinity), will be involved or if there will be an all new cast.
Don't think for one second that a character's death in one of the previous films would prevent them from resurfacing in the next. Hollywood has a funny way of making that happen if need be.
What do you y'all think? Would you be interested in seeing The Matrix 4?
