The Cali Swag District have gotten a lot of credit for the “Dougie” dance craze that has swept the country, but the originator of the dance is actually hip hop legend Doug E Fresh.

Fresh stopped by ESPN recently to talk about how he created the dance, and to grade a few of the sports stars and tv analysts technique.

I thought it would be cool if we did the same and vote on who did the best “Dougie” this year.

We’re excluding the professional dancers from the poll like the Cali Swag dudes and Chris Brown.

Auburn junior quarterback Cam Newton collected the 76th Heisman Trophy on Saturday night at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square.

And he expects to keep it.

Newton, who was ineligible for a day this year because of his father’s actions, was asked if he had any concern that he would have to return his Heisman, like 2005 winner Reggie Bush.

“Two letters for you, my friend,” Newton replied. “No.”

Newton won the 2010 Heisman in a landslide — earning 729 of the 926 first-place votes, the third-highest percentage in history. His percentage likely would have been much higher but he was omitted from 105 ballots, almost certainly in protest over his eligibility issue.

Boise State junior quarterback Kellen Moore finished fourth, a school record. Stanford sophomore quarterback Andrew Luck was second and Oregon sophomore running back LaMichael James was third.

“Certainly there was a favorite we saw coming,” Moore said.

Newton has dominated college football for weeks — on and off the field.

His dad, Cecil, was implicated by the NCAA in an attempted pay-for-play scheme that would have sent his son to Mississippi State. He didn’t attend the ceremony.

Newton overcame that black mark with mesmerizing play on the field. He has accounted for 49 touchdowns to carry the Tigers to the BCS National Championship Game.

“I feel like I’m in a dream and I haven’t woke up yet,” he said. “It’s a great award, a prestigious award.”

Newton scored 2,263 points, more than double Luck’s 1,079. James had 916 and Moore 635.

Moore earned 40 first-place votes — quadruple the number he received last year, when he finished seventh with 100 points. He was named on 44 percent of the ballots — voters ranked players first, second and third — and received the sixth-most points ever for a fourth-place finisher.

Not surprisingly, Moore received his most support in the West (135 points) and his least in Southeastern Conference country (81).

For Newton, it was just the opposite. He garnered more points in the South than the other three finalists combined.

The win was an emotional moment for Newton, who has stayed focused despite the swirling controversy. He choked up before delivering an ironic acceptance speech.

“My parents,” he said, “do a lot of things behind the scenes that go unnoticed.”

Rapper Yo Gotti is being sought by Memphis police in connection with a fight and shooting that took place outside of Level II nightclub on November 29.

Gotti, real name Mario Mims and an associate, Lance Taylor aka OG Boo Dirty got into an argument with several men. The argument then escalated into a brawl.

Shots were fired leaving five people, including Boo Dirty injured.

WREG is reporting that three were shot in the butt, one in the wrist and one in the shoulder.

Police issued eleven warrants and by Saturday, three men, Howard Greer, Kenneth Mason and Vernon McClendon were in jail.

Greer’s mother, who’s son was also injured in the shooting, said that rappers need to be more responsible when out in the public.

"As a rapper you do have an obligation to the public, and you have an obligation to your fans to feed positive message. When you feed that garbage, that negative message of violence, and violating one another, my mother told me if you live by the sword, you're going to die by the sword. And I pray to God that none of you die by the sword." She said.

Yo Gotti’s lawyer, Art Horne said that his client is currently out of town, and would have his name cleared when he returned

"He just wanted his fans and the public to know that...he doesn't condone that type of behavior, and that again, he plans to deal with the charges that have been filed against him, “ Horne said. “Once he comes back, and deals with the allegatgions, I think his name will be cleared."

The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) will probably be handing out a few stiff fines and suspensions, after what appears to have been a planned attack by one team against another.

Fighting in hockey is widely accepted, but this was different. The fight took place six seconds after face off in a game between the Vityaz and Avangard.

Avangard’s management said that the incident was a pre planned attack against their team. They have asked the European league’s officials to kick the Vityaz out of the KHL. They also want the teams’ management to get a lifetime ban.

That was definitely wild, even for hockey.

Tranny troublemaker Sidney Starr is back on the scene, making his singing debut, using auto tune, no less.

He’s taking shot’s at his nemesis Kat Stacks, who nobody has heard much from since immigration officials got hold of her. Somebody is on Kat’s twitter account sending out tweets here and there, but last I heard people don’t have blackberries or iPhones in jail.

Ok, now back to this diss track “I Am Here Now” from Sid. I’m not knocking anyone’s hustle, do what you do. It’s just that nobody uses auto tune anymore. Antoine Dodson is probably the last gay dude that will get rich off an auto tune joint. That's T-Pain's lane, people will accept hearing it from him, not anyone else. So it might be time to go back to the drawing board with this singing thing.

There is no love lost between the Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr camps.

While Floyd Jr has kept a low profile recently, his father Floyd Sr has been more than willing to fill the void of trash talking left open by his son.

Floyd Sr made headlines recently when he said he would be scared for his son’s life if he were to fight Pacquiao.

During this interview with Fighthype.com, he reiterated that he doesn’t want the fight to happen.

“I know like everybody else knows, Pacquiao can’t whoop my son, it is what it is,” Floyd Sr said. “Me myself personally - I’m just gonna tell you like this. I’d rather for my son not to fight Pacquiao, and I have my own reasons.”

That’s definitely now what fight fans want to hear, but the man is entitled to his own opinion.

Mayweather Sr then recited a poem dissing Manny’s trainer titled ‘Freddy The Joke Coach Roach.’

“Freddy the joke coach Roach, who wouldn’t dare to approach. He’s a roach blowing smoke with no hope. Manny just moved from first class to the coach with the roach. And now he’ll be sprayed with Raid and underpaid. Because at the end of the night his title will be gone. Just like the roach when the lights come on.”

Mayweather wasn’t done though. When asked about Pacquiao’s singing ability, Sr said “he should leave singing alone and boxing as well.”

Many people know DJ Whoo Kid as the man behind the turntables for G-Unit. But Kid is also an accomplished businessman.

The Mixtape King was in the UK recently. While there he sat down with the Hip Hop Chronicle to let everyone know what he’s been up to, and reveals the big news that 50 Cent is now his business partner at Radio Planet TV.

“For ignorant people who are just stupid, they always think I just do G-Unit. But I’ve been doing countless other artists,” Kid says. “I’ve been in the background telling people [dj’s] what to play, what beats to use production wise. I’ve done cds with almost everybody. And as far as my radio show, you hear everybody.”

Whoo Kid’s website, RadioPlanet.TV which launched in March 2009 is on the verge of breaking out big time. The site features exclusive music videos, interviews and more. And with 50 Cent now on board, Whoo Kid expects things will only get better.

“We went up 60% in the last two months. I also brought in 50 Cent as a partner,” Kid said. “This just happened like 2 days ago with the lawyers and everything. So now there’s going to be a little bit more craziness going on.”

Kid mentioned that he visits the UK every four or five weeks. He was asked if he had a woman out there who keeps him coming back.

“I got one fallopian tube in South London. I got a wet esophagus in Peckham. An in East London I have an esophagus that’s so deep it’s serious.“ he joked.

Well he’s in much better shape than you think. In our in-depth cover story with Dre, from the forthcoming Dec/Jan 2011 issue of XXL, the 45-year-old West Coast legend told our EIC, Vanessa Satten, that he might have to change his birth certificate due to his work in the gym. “I make sure that I take care of myself,” he said. “I feel like, now I feel much better—and actually look better, to me—than I did when I was in my early 20s or 30s. I’m definitely healthier now. That has a big part to do with it, just staying healthy. It definitely keeps your confidence up. I’ve actually had tests on my body, and the doctor said I’m 31. [Laughs] So I’m riding with that shit. [Laughs]”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - It was a theory so bizarre, no one wanted to believe it. How in the world could 16-year-old Delvonte Tisdale, a well-liked, well-behaved North Meck student, have managed to stow away in the wheel well of a commercial airplane?

Officials near Boston say it's true and Friday, voiced the question on everyone's mind. "If that was someone with a different motive, than perhaps a young man's curiosity, if that was someone with a different motive, if that was a terrorist, that could be a bomb that's planted there undetected,” says Norfolk Co., Mass. District Attorney William Keating.

Investigators say they've found hand prints inside the wheel well, as well as Tisdale's shirt and sneakers along a flight path in a wooded area in Massachusetts, the same area his body was discovered in November.

Derick Brown lives in Tisdale's neighborhood in north Charlotte. He describes the probable airport security breach as "unreal." He says, "That's supposedly a secure area that he was able to get through, so yeah, not knowing any more than what I know, you have to wonder, was he helped? I mean, was he ignored? How?"

"The systems they have in place are as good as anywhere,” says Barry Brush of Charlotte-Douglas Airport. Brush is a retired US Airways pilot. He flew commercial airplanes for 32 years and says looking for stowaways is just not on the "to do" list. "We don't see what we're not looking for,” says Brush.

Brush's experience tells him Tisdale died before he fell from the plane near Boston. He could have been crushed by the plane's gear, but if he survived that, he would most likely have not been able to survive the lack of oxygen or freezing temperatures.

At an altitude of about 35,000 feet, temps in the wheel well would have reached negative 30 degrees. "You have to realize that by the time he did fall from the airplane, that was probably a non-event for him,” says Brush.

The FAA tells us that there have been 86 stowaway attempts. Only 18 people survived. The last time someone tried it on a domestic flight was in 1972.

"That kind of breach of security better be investigated to the full extent and it shouldn't be an issue of who's responsible. Everyone should be looking at what they can do,” says Keating of the Tisdale breach.

Both the TSA and Charlotte-Douglas airport officials tell us they are investigating how this happened and will release more information as early as Monday.

The undisputed king of viral videos this year was none other than Antoine Dodson. Catapulted to fame after giving a spicy interview to WAFF-TV News in Huntsville, Ala., the long-haired, bandana-wearing man caught some feelings following a break-in and attempted rape in his apartment. Within days, the video went viral, making "Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife" the hottest catchphrase since "Yes, we can!"

Noblesville, Ind. — Gary Dewester is under fire for selling soaps with offensive labels like: "Kolored Kids" and "Darkie" with a black man pictured in a top hat. Other soaps contained labels with other racially charged slurs.

The building owner of Logan Village Mall told Fox59 News Dewester's lease may be pulled if he doesn't pull his soaps. Dewester claims the soaps sell well. He said he buys them from Florida.

Dewester has refused to pull the soaps saying they are a gag gift and that people have become too concerned about being "politically correct." Fox59 News visited the store and had a lengthy discussion with Dewester. Following are excerpts of the discussion with him that lasted about 10 minutes.

You know this is offensive to a lot of people
Gary Dewseter : It's not offensive to me.

You're making money off of racism.
Gary: Racism? Our country was built on racism. If it didn't sell we wouldn't sell it. People buy it.

But should you be the middleman to make a profit off racism?
Gary: Racism?

People are going to be appalled at this.
Gary: They are? Then people are just too politically correct. How about gay people in our country. Would they be offended by "Gay Johnny" and "The Fairy soap." (Gary then showed the soaps labeled "Gay johnny" and "The Fairy soap"). This is free publicity and I hope it makes every channel, because people will come in here.

People will think you're a racist because you're selling this soap.
Gary: I'm a businessman selling a product people buy

Why would you want to be making a profit off of racism?
Gary: Because it's a legal product

But don't you have a moral principle not to promote something like this?
Gary: In our country the almighty dollar says it all, ma'am

Are you a racist?
Gary: No. are you?

No, but I would never sell soap like this.
Gary: Well, that's you're prerogative

Would you consider not selling it anymore? I think you''ll have customers, who after seeing this story, won't want to come to your shop.
Gary:I'm glad you people (Fox59) are putting it on the air because we're going to have customers. Some will come in and look at the soaps out of curiosity, and then buy other things. You people are the leaches of the world putting it on the 6 O'clock news. We've sold it for ten years and we've had one complaint in ten years. Evidently that one complaint a month or so ago, has built into this giant festering sore of racism. I'm selling 20-30 bars of soap a year.

And you say its popular.
Gary: Yeah

Do you believe some of your customers are buying because they're racist and they're getting a kick out of buying the soap?
Gary: Some of them think it's funny

There's nothing funny about racism.
Gary: Alright, that's your opinion.

Standing defiant to pressure, Dewester says he will keep selling the soap but he plans to do that somewhere else. He said he has decided to move his shop out of the Logan Village Mall in Noblesville. He maintains that he has a right to sell the controversial products.
