Miami's self proclaimed Baddest B*tch, Trina made an appearance at Minnesota Vikings tackle Bryant McKinnie's birthday party and had more than a few unkind words for fellow female rapper Khia Apparently Khia's music was played prior to Trina hitting the stage and she was not too pleased about that. The female mc's are in the midst of a beef that's been brewing for a couple of years. Jackie O, whom Khia refers to as "Wacky O" is also involved in this battle against Khia. They tossed perfection away like a Christmas leftover. They treated it with a casual shrug of the shoulders, disdain even, as if they were beyond such a trivial pursuit. Standing on the precipice of NFL history, the Indianapolis Colts' brain trust arrogantly, foolishly, treated Sunday's second half like a preseason game. What happens now? Does this guarantee the Colts will reach the Super Bowl? Is that how it works? At least the 2007 Patriots and 2009 Saints tried to do something special and noble, tried to do something that had been done just once in NFL history. At least they tried to put a scare into the 1972 Miami Dolphins, who should be sending a case of champagne to Colts President Bill Polian and coach Jim Caldwell first thing this morning. The Colts couldn't have been bothered. They treated the second half like it was gum on the bottom of a shoe. They sent in backup quarterback Curtis Painter to hold on to a 15-10 lead, and it was like having Mel's Detailing put the finishing touches on the Sistine Chapel. It felt wrong. It was wrong. Cheap, really. In the end, this doesn't make the Colts any more or less well-equipped to handle the coming postseason. This wasn't about that, and really, nothing changes in terms of the team's Super Bowl aspirations. What mattered -- or at least mattered to some of us, including the players -- was the chance to become one of football's forever teams. The Colts casually gave away this thing, spitting on football history along the way. -- Bob Kravitz, Indianapolis Star Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

After a nearly three-year hiatus, the popular animated series "The Boondocks" is set to return to TV in the New Year, its creator Aaron McGruder said. According to Vibe.com, the cartoonist took to his Twitter page on Christmas Day, revealing news that a third season of the series will air in early 2010. "Finally got an airdate for Season 3," McGruder wrote (@AaronMcGruder). "Not sure if I'm allowed to put it out yet, so I'll just say you got about three months! Merry Xmas!!" The popular-yet-controversial comic strip-turned-cartoon debuted in 2005 on the Cartoon Network and ran for two seasons before its lengthy hiatus. The show received criticism for its heavy use of the word "n****", but McGruder defended its use arguing that the "large-scale usage of the word provides the show with a level of realism," says Wikipedia. During the second season of "The Boondocks", two episodes were banned without any official word from the network. According to reports, the banned episodes were heavily critical of BET. A source told HipHopDX at the time that BET had been pressured Sony (the studio behind The Boondocks) to ban the episodes and threatened legal action. Cartoon Network publicly stated that "...neither Turner nor Adult Swim were contacted by BET." Two episodes were eventually included in the Season 2 DVD release. No official word when Season 3 is set to air. Below is a clip of one of the shows. Source: BallerStatus Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

An escaped convict on the run from an open prison taunted police on Facebook - by posting a picture of himself tucking into his Christmas dinner. Crook Craig 'Lazie' Lynch, 28, was serving a seven year sentence for aggravated burglary at Hollesley Bay prison in Suffolk when he absconded on September 24 this year. Last week it came to light that Lynch has successfully evaded Suffolk police ever since, despite posting regular status updates on the social networking website. Over the festive period arrogant Lynch has revelled in his notoriety and continued to mock the police. On Christmas Day he posted a picture of himself taking a turkey out of the oven while swearing at the camera.

Underneath he wrote: "if any of you was doubtin my freedom. Here's proof. How the f**k could i get my hands on a bird like this in jail. ha ha." On the same day Lynch, who now has 1,247 Facebook friends, posted: "YES YES i f**kin made it to xmas i beat their f**kin system and i love it." Cocky On Boxing Day at 16.41 Lynch posted: "It is freezin out there. I wonder if i can take the right piss and stay out til the summertime ha ha." While on Sunday morning the cocky criminal taunted police for their failure to track him down. He wrote: "good mornin everyone. I had a funny feelin that my door was going to come off this mornin then i remembered. The old bill are as thick as s**t. And went back to sleep." At one point Lynch thought his cover had been blown when he heard the sound of emergency vehicles approaching. He posted: "Oh No sirens!! Its happening", before adding later "false alarm it was an ambulance." Elsewhere on Facebook critics of Lynch have set up a "Craig Lazie Lynch is no hero" group to condemn messages of support for the convicted criminal. The front page of the group, which has 132 members. reads: "How stupid can people be egging this idiot on? "Dont they know that he was jailed for aggravated burglary for seven years??? "How can people think tha this guy is a hero when weve got lads risking their lives every day in afgan, they are the real heros not this prick." A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said routine checks were being performed at Lynch's known addresses and his details had been logged on the Police National Computer. Officers are liaising with forces elsewhere in the UK as he has links with Middlesex and north-east London. Lynch is described as white, 5ft 9inches tall, of stocky build, with short brown hair, brown eyes and a beard. Check out a few of Craig's Facebook updates below:

Video After The Jump The Pussycat Dolls may be looking for a few new faces to join Nicole Scherzinger and co., but they're also looking for a few big names to collaborate with on their next album. Work is already under way on the group's follow-up to their 2008 album, Doll Domination, and the group's creator, Robin Antin, admits there's one Black Eyed Pea she'd love to get on board for a song or two. "As far as women, I'd love to do a collaboration with Fergie," Antin told MTV News. "I think having her on an album would be incredible and something I've always wanted to do."
Antin would also like to see Snoop Dogg, who worked with the group on past singles "Bottle Pop" and "Buttons," rejoin the ladies to see what kind of chemistry they can cook up this time around. "You never know, maybe Snoop will come back," she said. "He's always someone we love." Although the record is still in its early phases, Antin said fans will be pleased with the direction the group's sound is taking. "A couple of the songs right now that we're working on are absolutely incredible," she said. "Fun and definitely like a cool, unique sound. It's definitely new and fresh, and I think everyone's going to love it for sure." The album's feel isn't the only thing that will be "new and fresh." Antin also revealed that the group's lineup will have a few shakeups. "It's Nicole and ... a couple new faces. Some of the girls want to go and do their own thing. We're moving on. We're excited," she said. "We're looking at new girls. It's phase three of the Pussycat Dolls because we did our first album, our second album, and now we're going on to our third. We're touring. ... A lot is coming up." Source: MTV Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

Music: Tops And Flops Of 2009

Hot Susan Boyle Boyle, a worldwide YouTube phenomenon, brought a whole new concept to modern celebrity: dowdy chic. With her unglamorous appearance contradicting her rapturous voice, Boyle reminded us of the power of inner beauty, and in the process managed to, at least for a while, outsell every shapely young thing on the planet. Boyle's debut racked up the biggest opening sales figure of the year: over 700,000 units, most of them on (gasp!) physical CD.

Maxwell After nearly a decade in hiding, the Brooklyn-born R&B singer made the kind of point-perfect comeback that instantly compensated for all the time away. His album "BLACKsummers'night" went platinum, earning some of the most enraptured reviews of the year, bagging no fewer than six Grammy nominations in their wake.

Kings of Leon They're the first new rock band to break through in far too long. In '09, this brash Nashville foursome enjoyed iTunes' most downloaded album, "Only by the Night." The band also racked up a slew of Grammy nominations for their song "Use Somebody," ensuring they'll become only hotter in 2010.

Taylor Swift Not only did this Nashville star (who just turned 20) have the top-selling album of '09 (with a tally topping 4 million copies), she became a combination saint/victim when Kanye West tried to ruin her moment of triumph at the MTV Video Music Awards in September. To certify her resurrection, two months later, at the American Music Awards, Swift even beat the sanctified Michael Jackson for the top prize: Artist of the Year.

Not U2 They may have enjoyed the year's most attended tour. But U2's latest CD, "No Line on the Horizon," bombed with fans and became the worst-selling disk of their career.

J.Lo Yes, she fell on her world-famous rump on the American Music Awards, but she quickly bounced back (literally, it seems) to survive one of pop's goofier, and most blabbed about, public gaffes.

Kanye West Already a famously bad sport, Kanye crossed the line to genuine jerk-face in the fall when he grabbed the limelight from Taylor Swift during her MTV acceptance speech and insisted that Beyoncé's clip should have won instead. After that, even the impeccably measured President Obama hauled off and called Kanye a "jackass."

Whitney Houston While the troubled singer's comeback CD has sold strongly (800,000 copies and counting), her interview on Oprah left a bad taste in the mouth, and her intended comeback appearance on "Good Morning America" live from Central Park! found her in scratchy and damaged voice, barely able to croak through four short numbers.

Chris Brown The young R&B stud achieved genuine pariah status this year by perpetrating the ultimate no-no viciously beating his girlfriend Rihanna after a pre-Grammy party. Brown spent the rest of the year apologizing, but the damage had been done.

Rap giant Eminem is heading over to jolly old England to headline a concert that also features singer Pink on the bill. That's not the biggest news however. For the first time I can remember Slim Shady has agreed to censor his lyrics to appease gay rights groups that might protest the show. According to AllHipHop, Eminem agreed to perform at the 2010 Wireless Festival after he and the show's promoters agreed to terms on this issue. Activist group OutRage! has been successful in boycotting artists like Buju Banton and Beenie Man in the past. Em wanted to avoid any confrontation with them or similar gay rights groups while visiting the UK. The show will take place at London's Hyde Park in July of 2010. Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper

We've seen plenty of beefs, a rapper embarrass himself at the MTV Music Awards and the rise of hipster/emo rap. 50 Cent recently sat down with DJ Semtex to talk about the highs and lows of 2009. One topic was his beefs with Fat Joe, The Game & Ja Rule. He also speaks on the Beanie Sigel/Jay-Z situation. The most intriguing part of the interview however, comes towards the end. When 50 speaks very candidly about his feelings towards Interscope Records and why he feels no loyalty towards the label.

Video After The Jump Romulus, Michigan (CNN) -- A Nigerian man is "talking a lot" to the FBI, said a senior U.S. official, after what the United States believes was an attempted terrorist attack on an inbound international flight. The initial impression is that the suspect was acting alone and did not have any formal connections to organized terrorist groups, said the official, who is familiar with the investigation. The suspect, identified by a U.S. government official as 23-year-old Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, ignited a small explosive device Friday, shortly before a Northwest flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, landed at Detroit Metro Airport in Michigan. Passenger Jasper Schuringa told CNN that with the aid of the cabin crew, he helped subdue and isolate Abdulmutallab. Abdulmutallab was taken into custody and is being treated for second- and third-degree burns on his thighs, according to federal law enforcement and airline security sources. The sources told CNN that the suspect flew into Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam on a KLM flight from Lagos, Nigeria, and is not believed to be on any "no fly" list, although his name does appear in a U.S. database of people with suspect connections. He did not undergo secondary security screening in Amsterdam, an administration official said. The administration official said there was no evidence that Abdulmutallab was a hard-core, trained member of al-Qaeda. The Nigerian national, however, claimed to have extremist ties and said the explosive device "was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used," a federal security bulletin obtained by CNN said. British counterterrorism police officers were searching houses Saturday in central London in relation to the airline incident, a Metropolitan Police spokeswoman told CNN. The remains of the device used are being sent to an FBI explosives lab in Quantico, Virginia, for analysis, security sources said. President Obama, who is spending the holidays in Hawaii, was briefed on the incident during a secure phone call with aides and instructed in a subsequent discussion with security advisers "that all appropriate measures be taken to increase security for air travel," White House spokesman Bill Burton told CNN. The president made no changes to his schedule, Burton said. The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement Friday saying that air passengers "may notice additional screening measures put into place to ensure the safety of the traveling public on domestic and international flights." Passengers described the brief moments of panic on board, as screams erupted and flight attendants ran for fire extinguishers. Syed Jafry, who was sitting in seat 16G, said the plane was just beginning to descend when passengers heard a pop. "Everybody got a little bit startled," he said. "After a few seconds or so ... there was ... kind of a flamish light and there was fire" and people around the immediate area began to panic. Schuringa said he heard a big bang that sounded like a firecracker going off. He told CNN that he was the one who was able to subdue Abdulmutallab. CNN was not able to independently confirm Schuringa's account. Schuringa said someone started yelling: "Fire! Fire!" Then there was smoke. That's when Schuringa said he knew something was terribly wrong. When he noticed that Abdulmutallab was not moving, he grew suspect. He jumped over the passenger next to him and lunged over Abdulmutallab's seat. Schuringa said he saw that Abdulmutallab had his pants open and he was holding a burning object between his legs. "I pulled the object from him and tried to extinguish the fire with my hands and threw it away," Schuringa said. He said he managed to pull an object tucked between Abdulmutallab's legs. "Water! Water," Schuringa screamed. He heard fire extinguishers as he pulled Abdulmutallab out of his seat and dragged him to the front of the plane. Schuringa said Abdulmutallab seemed dazed. "He was staring into nothing." Schuringa said he stripped off Abdulmutallab's clothes to make sure he did not have other explosives on his body. A crew member helped handcuff him. He said other passengers applauded as he walked back to his own seat. "My hands are pretty burned. I am fine," he said. "I am shaken up. I am happy to be here." Jafry said the incident was under control within minutes, crediting the crew and nearby passengers for the rapid response. Another passenger, Richelle Keepman, told CNN affiliate WDIV-TV that the experience was terrifying. "I think we all thought we weren't going to land, we weren't going to make it," Keepman said. One person was taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, hospital spokeswoman Tracy Justice said. "All passengers have deplaned and, out of an abundance of caution, the plane was moved to a remote area," where the plane and baggage were rescreened, the Transportation Security Administration said in a statement. Passengers were interviewed by law enforcement authorities before being allowed to leave the airport. No other suspicious materials were found on the plane or in luggage, the law enforcement and airline security sources said. The suspect had only carry-on luggage. Another passenger on the Northwest flight transferred from the same KLM flight in Amsterdam, but officials found no connection between the two, the sources said. The plane, an Airbus 330, landed shortly before noon. It was carrying 278 passengers. Delta is the parent company of Northwest. Source: CNN Follow Me @Twitter.com/ChasinMoPaper
