Washington Times - The NFL announced punishments for the end-of-game brawl between the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers, which includes an indefinite suspension without pay for defensive end Myles Garrett.
Garrett’s ban will last at least the rest of the regular season and postseason, the league said, for a minimum of six games. Garrett ripped Pittsburgh quarterback Mason Rudolph’s helmet off his head and then struck him over the head with it.
It marks the longest suspension for a single on-field incident in NFL history. The previous mark was a five-game ban for Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, who removed an opponent’s helmet and stomped on his face.
The Steelers’ Maurkice Pouncey and the Browns‘ Larry Ogunjobi were suspended three games and one game, respectively, for their roles in the melee. Both teams were fined $250,000.
Garrett was the first overall draft pick in 2018 and is one of the Browns‘ star players on defense.
Garrett must meet with Commissioner Roger Goodell’s office before the league decides when to reinstate him.
Rudolph’s agent told ESPN that he was considering courses of legal action and “no options have been removed from the table.”

The latest from the Dallas based artist channels P-Funk to take listeners on an unpredThictable psychedelic journey.
Describing his style as “FunkJazzHop,” Mr. Who???” makes music that is impossible to pin down, fusing the endless creativity of 70’s funk with jazz inspired melodies, and liberally sprinkling in open hearted hip-hop rhythms. With his 2019 album “Paint The Sky Funk,” he moves beyond his influences to create a sound all his own, and an album unlike anything you’ve ever heard.
After a brief intro, the album kicks into gear with “Yo Azz In Some Good Trouble,” which sets the tone with its syncopated bass line and eccentric vocal dialogue. The eight minute track takes it time, setting a groove that stays engaging over the course of its run time before giving way to “Open Up Your Mind By Mr Who,” an atmospheric jam that implores the listener to “open up your mind to your third dimension.”
The theme of cosmic connection continues on album highlight “Late Night Long Days,” a seductive slow burner that invokes peak era Prince with its 80’s synth sounds and inter gender harmonies. “Watch The Snakes In The Grass” follows, with a militant drumbeat accompanied by equally abrasive buzzsaw synths, showing the artists in-your-face side. Mr. Who??? embraces full on soul to astounding effect on “All Night,” his voice velvety smooth with hints of Marvin Gaye and Al Green. By the closing notes of “The Whomix Elevation of Trap,” the listener feels like they’ve been on a long psychedelic journey worthy of endless replays.
Over the course of the album’s twenty one tracks, Mr. Who??? never stops experimenting, with each track taking on an unpredictable life of its own. It is easily apparent that this an artist with vision, chops, and ambition to make a grand statement, taking the genres he loves and reshaping them in his own image.
“Paint The Sky Funk” is available everywhere now.

(TMZ) -- Kodak Black was set up and possibly drugged when he got into a fight behind bars ... at least according to the rapper's camp.
Sources close to Kodak tell TMZ ... his team believes last month's prison fight, which left a guard injured, was all a setup because they claim someone slipped something in his drink to set him off.
We're told surveillance video shows Kodak drinking a cup of coffee about 20 minutes before the fight broke out ... and his reps believe Kodak's coffee was spiked with a chemical substance intended to make him lose control.
Our sources say an agent from the FBI testified Wednesday that witnesses said Kodak appeared to be under the influence during the brawl.
As for the fight itself ... we're told Kodak got into it with another inmate, and a corrections officer sprayed KB with mace. Our sources say it took several prison guards to restrain Kodak, who displayed incredible strength after allegedly being drugged.
Bureau of Prisons spokesperson Emery Nelson tells us a staff member was physically assaulted during the fight and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
As we reported ... Kodak was sentenced Wednesday to 46 months in prison after pleading guilty in his federal gun case. Prosecutors were gunning for 96 months after KB was involved in the fight.
Kodak's camp thinks it's suspicious the other inmate in the fight was placed in KB's prison pod earlier in the day, and the same inmate was released on bond about 12 hours after the brawl. Kodak's team says the fact the fight went down 2 weeks before his sentencing is also fishy. KB's been behind bars before, and we're told it's the first time he got in trouble.
Black's reps tell us they don't know for sure who allegedly drugged him, but they have their suspicions ... telling us a lot of people want to see him jammed up.
We reached out to the U.S. Attorney's Office ... but they have no comment.
Kodak's attorney, Bradford Cohen, declined comment other than to say he's investigating the prison fight.
