Video And Pics After The Jump

Officer Ann Carrizales has an incredible amount of heart and determination. The 40-year old Houston cop made a routine traffic stop on Saturday (October 26). While talking to the driver, one of the two passengers in the car opened fire, hitting Carrizales in the face and chest. She fired back, hitting the back window.

She then got back in her patrol car and chased the suspects for 20 miles before losing them. Carrizales was wearing s bullet-proof vest at the time, which may have saved her life.

Wounded: Officers rush to the aid of Ann Carrizales after she steps out of her patrol near Concourse Drive, where the pursuit ended

Other police officers responded to the scene to help Carrizales. She was transported to Memorial Herman Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

Cops later found the shooter walking down a road and arrested him, Crime stoppers is offering a $10,000 reward for the other two fugitives Freddy Henriquez and Daniel Cruz, both Honduran illegal immigrants believed to be gang members.

Carrizales, a former marine and mother of two said it's in her nature to protect people.

"What I was thinking at the time was I need to stay in this fight. And I needed to do what I needed to do as a police officer, and that was stop these guys," she said. "I was born to be a protector. I have always been a protector. It would be nothing for me to give my life for yours. I wouldn't think twice to do it. I didn't think twice to do it in the past and I wouldn't think twice to do it in the future. But sometimes even we protectors, we seek protection."

12350420879?profile=original

"My wife is an extraordinary woman," Chris Carrizales told the media. "And not just because vof what you saw in the video. We know there's a possibility that mom may not come home."

The officer gave thanks to a higher power for preventing her from being more seriously injured.

"The bullet-proof vest worked, yes. But God saved my life, she said.

2013 XXL Freshman Class emcee Angel Haze recently sat down for an interview on Alicia Menendez Tonight.

The subject of the rapper's sexuality was a topic of conversation. The 22-year old describes herself as being a pansexual. A term that may not be familiar to many people. Check out what Angel had to say about the term and what it means to her.

"I feel like if I had to identify, that is a term to kind of describe what I feel in regards to people," Angel.said. "I think that labels aren't for me. It's not for a person, it's to make other people comfortable. I don't really buy into that. But if I'm asked to identify myself as something then pansexual is what I would choose. I define it as someone who sees people for what they are and not gender," she continued. "I don't base all of my relationships off of sex. I'm still a virgin, I don't really care about that. I care about connecting with people on a deeper level and actually having something to talk about. And something to work for. And something we're both interested in."

If you're interested in the definition of pansexuality you can read it below.

Pansexuality is an aspect of bisexuality. Bisexual people are sexually attracted to both sexes (males and females), usually to those who identify as boys or girls or as men or women, while pansexuality means sexual attraction to people of any gender (including those who may not identify as boys or girls or as men or women) or to those who are intersex. Pansexuality is opposite of asexuality, as pansexuality means a person may be sexually attracted to anyone, but asexuality means a person is sexually attracted to no one. However, pansexuals are not sexually attracted to everyone they meet, nor do they necessarily have strong sex drives.

LOS ANGELES (Associated Press) — A gunman armed with a semi-automatic rifle opened fire at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, killing a Transportation Security Administration employee and wounding two other people in an attack that frightened passengers and disrupted flights nationwide, officials said.

Los Angeles police Assistant Chief Earl Paysinger said the unidentified suspect, who was apparently injured following an exchange of gunfire with officers, was in custody.

Tim Kauffman, a spokesman for the American Federation of Government Employees in Washington, confirmed Friday that a TSA officer was killed. Kauffman said the union's information comes from their local officials in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Airport Police Chief Patrick Gannon said the gunman pulled what he described as an "assault rifle" from a bag and began firing. "As you can imagine, a large amount of chaos took place in this entire incident," he said.

Some passengers who already had cleared security rushed onto the tarmac to evacuate, while others were locked down in airport restaurants and lounges. The airport was being swept for precautionary measures and the bomb unit was on scene.

Air traffic was affected nationwide as the FAA grounded flights that had not yet departed for LAX.

Witness Brian Keech said he heard "about a dozen gunshots" from inside a security gate at the terminal, which has been evacuated.

Ben Rosen was sitting at the Starbucks in Terminal 3 eating oatmeal at about 9:20 a.m. when he heard gunfire erupt and people start running in all directions and others crouching on the ground. Rosen got on the ground and another passenger said "don't worry we're safe."

Then more gunshots erupted. He grabbed his phone and tried to lie down as flat on the ground as he could. Police showed up with their guns drawn, shouting, "This is not a drill, hands up."

Everyone put their hands up and then were led out of the airport terminal to the international terminal, Rosen said.

As they were led out they saw broken glass from a window that looked like it'd been shot out. Rosen left his bag behind.

"It was scary I've never experienced anything like this before," he said.

The Federal Aviation Administration said a "ground stop" was in affect for all flights heading to Los Angeles, meaning planes in any other airport in the country can't take off for the city, although some flights already in the air were allowed to land.

LAX air traffic controller Michael Foote said some flights were still being allowed to depart.

Foote said his colleagues in the control tower saw passengers spilling from the terminal onto the tarmac, "evacuating the building, getting out as fast as they could." Officers eventually corralled them.

Other travelers described a chaotic scene as airport security staff evacuated terminals, including onto to the tarmac. Hundreds of people remained gathered outside next to airplanes as authorities investigated what happened.

"People started saying there's a shooter, there's a shooter," said Natalie Morin, a senior at USC who was heading to San Francisco for a graduate school interview.

Emergency crews responded to a multi-patient incident, Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey said. Terminal 3 is home to Virgin America and other airlines.

Airport police say there was a lone shooter at LAX.

Video After The Jump

TMZ caught up with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight on Halloween to see what he's been up to and what his plans were for the night.

Suge had some interesting things to say.about Diddy, Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine and Tupac Shakur.

Jimmy Iovine

On what his costume would be for Halloween:

I'mma be Jimmy Iovine. You don't know who Jimmy Iovine is? Interscope, American Idol. They're not gonna actually see my face. I'm gonna have a white sheet on my head with the eyes cut out like the Klan. People will probably know I'm him without seeing my face. I'm just a little bit bigger.

On 2Pac getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

I think 2Pac should have a star on there. I mean sh*t, Puffy got a star on there. Only thing he did was dance. So I think 2Pac should definitely have one on there being from the West Coast. They better do it one way or the other. I figure if they don't hurry up and put 2Pac on the Walk of Fame, all the 2Pac fans and all the homies gonna star going down there scratching all the other names off. They might even remove Elvis and put 2Pac there.

12350424280?profile=original

Suge's shot at Diddy is not surprising. The two have not seen eye to eye ever since the 2Pac and Biggie Smalls beef.

Jimmy Iovine was running Interscope Records when they stopped distributing Death Row Records in 1998. That was the beginning of the end for Suge's label, which had trouble finding another major distributor because of all the drama surrounding the label. Suge has never forgiven Jimmy for severing ties with him.
