Rachel Dolezal, the former N.A.A.C.P. chapter president in Spokane, caught the nation's attention in June when it was revealed that she was born to white parents, but pretended to be African American.

She eventually resigned from her position due to public pressure even though the N.A.A.C.P. still supported her.

12351773877?profile=original

In a new interview with Vanity Fair, Rihanna, offered her support to Dolezal.

“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rihanna told Lisa Robinson. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”

Do you agree with Rihanna?

Nick Gordon, the boyfriend of Bobbi Kristina Brown, could be facing murder charges as a secret grand jury convenes in Georgia.

Radar Online reports that “the District Attorney is convening a secret grand jury and it’s likely to result in charges against Nick Gordon.”

Bobbi was was found unconscious, face down, submerged in water in her bathtub on January 31, 2015 in her Roswell, Georgia home. Her friend Max Lomas and Nick reportedly found her.

While Lomas called 911, Nick administered CPR until paramedics arrived.

Bobbi was rushed to the hospital, but the time she spent without oxygen caused irreparable brain damage to the 22-year old only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

She remained in a coma until her death on July 26, 2015.

In June, Gordon was hit with a $40 million wrongful death lawsuit by Bobbi's family, alleging he beat her after an all-night “cocaine and drinking binge.”

The lawsuit also accused Gordon of giving his girlfriend “toxic cocktail” that knocked her out.

Bobby Brown is pointing the finger at Gordon in the death of his daughter, according to Billboard.

“In regards to the civil litigation, we believe we know who harmed Bobbi Kristina Brown and his name is Nick Gordon," Bobby's attorney Christopher Brown said in a statement.

Video After The Jump

During VladTV's interview with Kurupt and Roscoe, the brothers touch on the Drake and Meek Mill beef while reminiscing about their own dealings with ghostwriters.

Kurupt knew of Meek Mill back in Philly when he was just a young, rapping teen with braids. These days he applauds Meek for his success, and when it comes to his beef with Drake, Kurupt feels they should just "ride it out." "You know, they were friends, that happens a lot," he explains. "Friends get into it, they have disagreements - I think that it'll pass over." Roscoe agrees, and though him and Kurupt are both into Meek's music, in the end he believes Drake reigned supreme with his diss tracks. "I like the Drake record better but I like Meek better as a rapper," Roscoe admits. After praising Drake for his lyrical ability, Kurupt adds "I know this much: if they went to war, you'd see a different Meek and you'd see a different Drake."

"Everybody has a ghostwriter that you love," Kurupt goes on to tell DJ Vlad when asked about Drake's credibility as a lyricist - everyone except Kurupt, of course. "I'm Kurupt cuz, you can't compare people to me...you gotta understand there's your hip-hop, and then there's emcee hip-hop. In emcee hip-hop, there are no ghostwriters. We are the ghosts."

Later on in the clip, Kurupt does admit to having a ghostwriter at one point in the beginning of his career. "Snoop wrote my first winner, 'N*ggas Don't Give a F*ck,'" he confesses. "I did Snoop's first verse, Daz did his second verse and they us let do our own third verse where I wrote half and Daz wrote half...it's part of the game, my n*gga."

A jailhouse letter written by Tupac Shakur to a Death Row Records employee in 1995 is up for sale. The asking price is $225,000.

At the time the music legend was incarcerated in the Clinton Correctional Facility for the alleged 1993 sexual assault of a woman at the Parker Meridien hotel in New York City.

The rapper denied involvement in the assault during an appearance on the Arsenio Hall Show, saying the accusation was especially hurtful because he had been raised around only women and for a female to say that he took something from them was difficult for him to deal with

In the prison letter, 2Pac wrote that he had evolved from "Thug Life" to being a "Boss Playa."

12351771882?profile=original

"I did not begin Thug Life, I just personified it," he wrote. "I couldn't stop it if I tried. But in my heart the thug nigga has advanced to be a Boss Playa. So no, Thug Life is not dead, but in my heart it is. U must play the game, not let the game play u. A regular Playa plays women, a Boss Playa plays life. A Boss Playa is a thinker, a leader, a builder, a moneymaker, a souljah, a teacher and most of all, a Man! I want all my homiez to know there is another level."

The legal battle between Birdman and Lil Wayne continues to rage on.

TMZ reports that Wayne has produced documents that claim Cash Money Records stiffed Tyga, Drake and Nicki Minaj out of lot of money.

Letters from T-Raww and Drizzy indicate their belief Young Money Records parent company short changed them. The report doesn't indicate how much money the pair say they are owed or how exactly they were screwed over.

12350262064?profile=original

Wayne also has a letter from Nicki that indicates some of her producers were not paid for their work. That responsibility falls on Cash Money.

The conflict between Wayne and Baby came to light in January 2015, when the rapper sued Cash Money for $51 million in an attempt to get out of his contract.

Wayne contends that his contract was breached when he wasn't paid $10 million he was owed once he finished recording the yet-to-be released Tha Carter V album.

12351779064?profile=original

The allegations of Cash Money's financial shenanigans are massive. Young Money clams it was supposed to get a big chunk of a $100 million advance from Universal -- an advance that went directly to Cash Money -- and they're still waiting.

But Cash Money says Wayne and company are full of it. They gave him a $20 million advance for Young Money in 2012, another $12 million for Wayne's solo album and another $70 million in advances, royalties, marketing and recording costs for various Young Money artists.

Cash Money claims in the docs if anyone is a slacker it's Wayne ... he was supposed to deliver 21 albums over 7 years for his artists and only anted up 13.
