Lil Wayne is now an author. The Young Money rapper has penned a new book titled Gone Till November. In it he provides intimate details about the eight months he spent in New York City's Rikers Island jail on a gun charge in 2010.
Selling out stadiums, topping album sales charts, and selling millions of albums have brought Lil Wayne, one of hip-hop's biggest acts, incredible highs. But these huge successes were accompanied by dark lows, resulting in a gun charge that landed him in Rikers Island Penitentiary for a year (of which he served 8 months). While there, he kept remarkably detailed journals of his thoughts, his feelings, the strange and colorful people he met, his plans, his family, his children, his past, present and future. GONE TILL NOVEMBER is a highly compelling internal monologue that is as relatable as it is unique to Wayne. It's an amazing narrative that will be a must-have for his legions of fans.
The book will be released on May 14, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

50 Cent was recently in Paris, France promoting his SMS Audio headphone line. While there he took time out sit down for an interview to speak on his Street King Immortal album, a song titled "My Life" that impressed Interscope, features on the project and the concept of the album.
"There's points on it where I'm more vulnerable than I was on my other projects," 50 said. "It's worked in the past with 'Hate It or Love It.' That type of lyrical content. I wrote the record that I felt like was more me."
The "I Get Money" hit maker explained that although the album is finished there is a possibility he may add a song or two as he continues to write new material.
"What is the album today may change. A song or two may change between now and the actual release. Because I always do that. I'll keep working and I'll come up with something like right before it's wrapped up and say I wanna put this."
50 confirmed that the album has been pushed back, but did not reveal a new release date. He also said there is a possibility that Dr. Dre will release Detox as an EP instead of a full album and that he's looking to add new artists to the G-Unit roster.
"The roster is definitely... I'll change things around a little bit. It'll be cool because we'll be able to go out on the road and tour. It'll be artist boot camp preparing them for what they will have to do when they go off on a tour following that."

Robert Greene, best selling and internationally acclaimed author of The 48 Laws of Power, The Art of Seduction, The 33 Strategies of War and co-author of 50 Cent's The 50th Law has just released a new book titled Mastery.
What did Charles Darwin, middling schoolboy and underachieving second son, do to become one of the earliest and greatest naturalists the world has known? What were the similar choices made by Mozart and by Caesar Rodriguez, the U.S. Air Force’s last ace fighter pilot? In Mastery, Robert Greene’s fifth book, he mines the biographies of great historical figures for clues about gaining control over our own lives and destinies. Picking up where The 48 Laws of Power left off, Greene culls years of research and original interviews to blend historical anecdote and psychological insight, distilling the universal ingredients of the world’s masters.
Temple Grandin, Martha Graham, Henry Ford, Buckminster Fuller—all have lessons to offer about how the love for doing one thing exceptionally well can lead to mastery. Yet the secret, Greene maintains, is already in our heads. Debunking long-held cultural myths, he demonstrates just how we, as humans, are hardwired for achievement and supremacy. Fans of Greene’s earlier work and Malcolm Gladwell’sOutliers will eagerly devour this canny and erudite explanation of just what it takes to be great.
Order your copy of Mastery today from Amazon.

If you're a fan of R. Kelly's "Trapped in the Closet" r&b opera and haven't seen all of the first 22, Kels gives you a quick recap in this two and a half minute trailer titled "Chapter 23."
Kelly has 30 more chapters in the vault. He will be delivering 20 of them on IFC the day after Thanksgiving.
"I'm so glad to know there are a lot of fans still waiting to find out what the package is, and I'm coming, you guys," Kelly told MTV in August.. "In four weeks, I just did 30 chapters of "Trapped in the Closet" and I'm proud of it; I'm very excited about it because it took on a life of its own. It took me over."
The singer added that fans should expect plenty of plot twists in the upcoming episodes.
"This is what 'Trapped in the Closet' is doing for me right now, it's kind of pulling me. It has pulled me, and there are a lot of cliff hangers, a lot of different chapters, and other characters that have created themselves in the story. It's very very off the damn chain."
If you would like to watch the first 22 chapters IFC has posted them on their website. In the meantime watch the trailer for "Chapter 23" below.
