Calitreeboy lit up the sky on July 3rd when his latest single dropped "ON ME". Produced by #imakefirebeats and recorded at On The Spot Studios by Sebastian Tha Villain and mastered by Lil Bonez. With Angelo Deprater and An Offline Film on the video the entire project has a quality and sound that is not often seen in the Central Coast.
The song has a strong, crisp, clarity to the vocals that is needed so you can hear the way the mastering throws so all the tones and background harmonies at you all at once. Calitreeboy gives another outstanding performance with this one, the lyrics are uplifting and make you want to move. The way he delivers his classic west coast vibe with that new edge to it making it appeal more to a wider audience outside of the west coast.
The video has a soft film quality that works with the painting like choice of interior scenes that you often see in high budget videos these days. The entire thing came off well thought out and executed and the film maker had an excellent eye for scene selection and all around tone. The models were great, the effects were just the little extra it needed as It kept its "authentic" feeling.

The family of Armando Frank, 42, who died back in October 2017 during a struggle with law enforcement, has filed a civil rights lawsuit in federal district court in Alexandria and are seeking damages. Three officers involved with the struggle are listed as defendants, as are the City of Marksville and Sheriff Doug Anderson in his official capacity. The lawsuit was filed last Friday by attorney Joseph Long out of Baton Rouge. The lawsuit alleges civil rights violations by excessive force. Attached with the lawsuit is a report from Dr. Christopher Tape, a well-known forensic pathologist in the state. Dr. Tape concludes in his report that Frank's cause of death was "asphyxia due to respiratory compromise due to law enforcement arrest with contribution of hypertensive atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease." The manner of death is listed as "homicide." Within the report, Dr. Tape writes that review of police body cam video shows that Frank's breathing was compromised for more than six minutes.Toxicology results only turned up positive for caffeine.
Dr. Tape concludes his report by writing, "Although there is no evidence of intent to kill the decedent on the video, it seems that the law enforcement arrest was the intervening factor that led to the death. Therefore, for medicolegal purposes such as a death certificate, the manner of death should be classified as a homicide." The incident happened as Avoyelles Parish deputies spotted Frank sitting on a tractor in the parking lot of Walmart. Investigators told us at the time that Frank was wanted on several warrants. According to the arrest report, deputies went to arrest Frank, he resisted and was tasered as a result. He continued to resist, and was tasered again before deputies brought him to the ground. He later died at the hospital. In March, an Avoyelles Parish grand jury chose not to indict three law enforcement officers involved in the incident for negligent homicide. Those officers are Deputy Alex Daniel and Deputy Brandon Spillman with the Avoyelles Parish Sheriff's Office, and Kenneth Parnell with the Marksville Police Department. It took the grand jury four hours to reach that decision.

(Sporting News) Add First Lady Melania Trump to the list of people showing support for LeBron James after President Donald Trump questioned the four-time MVP's intelligence in a tweet.
The First Lady released a statement through her spokeswoman giving James credit for the work he has done off the court.
"It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today," the statement read, via CNBC.com.
"As you know, Mrs. Trump has traveled the country and world talking to children about their well-being, healthy living, and the importance of responsible online behavior with her Be Best initiative. Her platform centers around visiting organizations, hospitals and schools, and she would be open to visiting the I Promise School in Akron. "
The First Lady also said she was "open" to visiting James' I Promise School for at-risk children in Akron, Ohio. Each student in the program who graduates is guaranteed a four-year college scholarship to the University of Akron.
