Actor and singer Tyrese Gibson has been going through it lately, but he also has a lot to be thankful for.
The child abuse investigation against him, sparked by allegations that he beat his 10-year old daughter with ex-wife Norma Gibson, has been dropped and his current wife, Samantha Gibson, is pregnant with their first child.
During his court case Tyrese was unable to find work because studios were hesitant to hire him, which put him in a financial bind. However, thanks to a generous gift from Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, that burden has been lifted.
"When we show UP for each-other there’s nothing that can’t be done I️ repeat nothing...... My wife kept the news away from me cause I’ve been on with lawyers all day but our family and our sister Jada-Pinkett Smith and my brother Will Smith just sent us 5 million dollars to help keep us afloat," the "Fast and the Furious" star revealed via his Instagram account. "You’ve guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid ! will listen..... The Smiths’s and their whole family has always shown up for The Gibson’s Uncle Will you’re an uncle for real."
Everybody could use friends like Will and Jada.

JAY-Z is vowing to support Meek Mill in the wake of the rapper being sentenced to 2-4 years in prison for violating his parole, stemming from a 2009 drug and gun conviction.
“The sentence handed down by the Judge — against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer — is unjust and heavy handed,” Jay wrote on Facebook Monday, November 6. “We will always stand by and support Meek Mill, both as he attempts to right this wrongful sentence and then in returning to his musical career.”
JAY's Roc Nation Management guides the "I'ma Boss" hit maker's career.
Prior to Monday's sentencing, Meek born, Robert Williams, asked Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley for leniency.
“I’m human. I’m not perfect,” he told Brinkley, according to the Philadelphia Enquirer. “I’m asking for mercy. You gave me the ladder to do what I have to do to prevail in my struggle. I made it this far, I can’t really go back and start over.”
The plea fell on deaf ears as Brinkley told Meek that he had run out of chances.
“I gave you break after break, and you basically just thumbed your nose at this court," she said.
The 61-year old judge based her decision on Meek getting arrested twice earlier this year.

One of Meek Mill's attorneys, Joe Tacopina, says bias towards his client led to the prison sentence handed down by Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley on Monday, November 6.
As we previously reported, Brinkley sentenced Meek to 2-4 years behind bars after ruling he violated his probation from a 2009 drug and gun case, by getting arrested twice earlier this year.
Joe Tacopina told TMZ that Brinkley has a vendetta against his client and went against the prosecutor's recommendation of no prison time. He claims the two are from the same part of Philadelphia and know some of the same people.
Their alleged conflict may also stem from a Boys II Men song, of all things.
According to Tacopia, during a meeting in judges chambers last year, Brinkley told Meek he should do a remake of "On Bended Knee" and shout her out.
Meek responded by laughing because he thought she was joking.
"I'm not kidding," she reportedly told him.
When the 30-year old rapper, born Robert Williams, refused Brinkley allegedly said "suit yourself."
Tacopina says there is a clear pattern of bias against Meek and plans to appeal the prison sentence.
