Last week rapper Eve made her feelings known on a few topics regarding other female MC's currently in the game. Among the new crop of female rappers, Azealia Banks is at the top of the former Ruff Ryder's list. Iggy Azalea, not so much.

I like Azealia Banks. I think her style is dope. If you listen to her lyrics, she knows how to wordplay and I think that’s cute," Eve told The Women Of Hip-Hop. "I’m not really into the Iggy Azalea chick. I can’t really f*ck with her music, but her look is crazy. I just can’t believe it."

Iggy has responded to what some might consider a diss. In a new interview with XXL.com she says Eve doesn't know what it's like to walk in her shoes.

“I like Eve,” she began. “Everybody is different, everybody hasn’t lived out of the box and for you to even know if it’s real, you have to kind of be an out-the-box person or somebody who likes something they’re not suppose to [like]. A girl like her that raps is expected, so, how could you understand something so different?

“I’m not mad at [Eve] for not understanding it,” she continued. “How could you if you’ve never been ostracized or loved something you weren’t suppose to love? Everything you’ve loved you’re allowed to love, so, how could you understand me? Thus, how could you know if it’s real? I used to be like, ‘It is real, let me prove it to you. Now, I don’t care if you think it’s real or not because it’s what I love, it’s my life. I don’t put my story all out there for you because I don’t need to put my story out there and prove it. I don’t give a fuck if you think I am or not ’cause that girl in the crowd understand it and that’s who it’s for, if you don’t then it’s not for you.”

Iggy is currently working with T.I. on her debut album The New Classic, which is due out later this year.

50 Cent believes his new album could be as "special" as his breakthrough Get Rich Or Die Tryin.

The 36-year-old New Yorker achieved mainstream success with his 2003 debut after teaming up with superstars Dr Dre and Eminem.

He has since put out three more successful records while also building up acting and entrepreneurial careers.

50 Cent - real name Curtis Jackson - has not released an album since 2009 and is excited about his new record, which is set to be released in July.

"I think it's great - arguably as good as the first album. But music marks time, so we'll see if my timing is right," he said. "It's pretty much done. I don't want to shun opportunities (for people) to hear something that I feel is special, because I may out-do myself."

He added: "I'm excited because I took a lot longer this time and was a lot more calculated on this project. I'm saying what I really want to say to the general public as opposed to trying to just make the date and filling. There are no real album fillers on this, it's all stuff that I feel I need to have on this record."

Jackson remains tight-lipped about the title of the album.

"I haven't actually 'launched' the name for it," he said. "I know the name, but I haven't really put it out yet. I've got to figure out the right place to do it."

If Melody Thornton was looking for attention Wednesday night she certainly got it. The former member of the Pussycat Dolls showed up at Elle's Women In Music event wearing a sheer brown dress that accentuated every curve on her body.

What do you think of Melody's look? Is it hot or hot garbage?

Q-Tip will forever be remembered as a member of A Tribe Called Quest, the groundbreaking Queens rap group and also as a producer of songs like Nas' "One Love." Although he's been in the music business for over 25 years, Tip still has a lot to offer today's hip hop fans and he plans to do that through his new deal with Kanye West's G.O.O.D Music label.

Tip called into to Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg to discuss his just inked deal, his upcoming collaborations with Common, 2 Chainz and Pusha T. He also confirms his fourth solo album will be titled "The Zulu."

It's been nearly three years since Kanye West interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, but some things are never forgotten.

President Obama called Kanye a jackass at the time and not much has changed since September 2009.

Obama repeated the same statement to David Samuels of The Atlantic during a brief interview recently when asked which rapper he preferred most, West or Jay-Z.

“Jay-Z,” Obama says. “Although I like Kanye. He’s a Chicago guy. Smart. He’s very talented.”

When reminded that he once referred to Yeezy as a donkey's rear end, Obama said his feelings hadn't changed.

“He is a jackass,” Obama continued. “But he’s talented.

We've seen in the past that Lil Wayne isn't afraid to push boundaries. He's dropped love ballads and a rock album in the past. It's still kind of surprising to hear that his next album could contain love songs exclusively.

I was also recording an album at the same time called 'Devol,'” he told MTV’s Hip Hop POV. “It’s spelled D-E-V-O-L because that’s ‘loved’ spelled backwards. It’s my version of love songs. And what I mean by my version of love songs is meaning they’re not saying ‘I love you.’ It’s all material that I did when I was locked up.

Weezy didn't give a time frame on when the project would be released.

Would hardcore Lil Wayne fans support an album filled with love songs? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
