There are some wounds that time will never heal.

The state of Ohio is still heated at NBA superstar, Lebron James' decision to spurn their Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team to go play with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade for the Miami Heat.

A billboard just went up in James' hometown of Akron, Ohio that reads, "Welcome Home Lebron" with a big red X over "home". The second line asks "How Does It Feel To Be A Sidekick?". No doubt referring to the fact that the Heat is D-Wade's team and King James might have to play second fiddle to him.

NewsNet5 is reporting the idea is the brainchild of the brainchild of The Omada Group, a marketing company in Akron, that paid $3,000 for the billboard, which is on Route 18 eastbound between I-71 and I-77, about two miles from James' estate in Bath. The billboard will be up for about a month.

Matthew Palumbo, one of the principals at the Omada Group, said he hopes the billboard sparks a grassroots campaign to let James know exactly where he stands in his home state since his decision to leave.

James is scheduled to return to Akron for his annual bike-a-thon charity event next weekend and is likely to pass the sign on his drive in from Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport.

The move may end up being one James' regrets. Already former players like Charles Barkley, Larry Bird and Michael Jordon have criticized the decision. Their point being he should be trying to beat Wade instead of playing with him.to create a "super team".

Time will tell though, but if I was Lebron I wouldn't be expecting any warm welcomes in Akron for a very long time.

I think it's safe to say that the love affair Lebron James once had with the city of Cleveland is 100% over.

James bolted from the Cleveland Cavaliers in July to join the Miami Heat in the biggest free agent move the NBA has ever seen.

Since then, the fans in Cleveland, who once cheered his every move have turned on him with a vengeance. From burning his jerseys to making videos on youtube ripping his decision, the Cavalier faithful let it be known, they now despise King James.

Now, James has struck back with a not so subtle jab of his own.

According to Cleveland.com, Lebron took out an ad in his hometown newspaper, the Akron Beacon Journal, thanking the city for all of its support.

He talks about his love for the city of Akron, but doesn't once mention Cleveland, the city he spent spent seven years playing pro ball in.....OUCH!

Here is the full text from the ad:

"To My Family, Friends and Fans in Akron:

"For all my life, I have lived in Akron -- and for that, I am truly a lucky man.

"It was here where I first learned how to play basketball, and where I met the people who would become my lifelong friends and mentors. Their guidance, encouragement and support will always be with me.

"Akron is my home, and the central focus of my life. It's where I started, and it's where I will always come back to. You can be sure that I will continue to do everything I can for this city, which is so important to my family and me. Thank you for your love and support. You mean everything to me
."

At least one former Cavalier, turned Heat did show the city of Cleveland some respect. Two days ago, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who like James had played seven years for the Cavaliers, took out an ad in the Cleveland Plain Dealer thanking the fans for their support during his time there.

"Teflon Don" was mob boss John Gotti's nickname. Now it's the name of Miami rapper Rick Ross' new album.

And Gotti's grandson's got a bone to pick.

The Miami rapper should have gotten the okay from his family first, Carmine Agnello, 24, told the Daily News Tuesday.

"My grandfather paid his dues for that nickname. That was my grandfather's life," Agnello said.

John Gotti was dubbed the "Teflon Don" after winning acquittal after acquittal in the 1980s. He was finally convicted of murder and racketeering in 1992.

"He should have asked for permission. A standup, respectable guy would come and ask 'If I could use the nickname,'" Agnello, who is trying to launch a music career under the name Carmine Gotti, said of Ross. "I think he's a great artist, but you can't just start calling yourself that to sell records ...He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself."

Then he took another swipe at the 34-year-old, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts.

"Only in America can you go from being a corrections officer to calling yourself Teflon Don," Agnello said, noting Ross' former career.

The choice of "Rick Ross" for his stage name also has gotten him in trouble.

Ross is being sued by ex-druglord Ricky (Freeway) Ross for using his name in a copyright infringement lawsuit.

Ross' fascination with the mob didn't start with the album he released Tuesday. His latest mixtapes, also released this year, were called "The Albert Anastasia EP" and "Carlo Gambino." Both Anastasia and Gambino also were mob bosses.

Ross could not be reached for comment.

CHICAGO -- Jesse Jackson criticized Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert on Sunday, saying Gilbert sees LeBron James as a "runaway slave" and that the owner's comments after the free-agent forward decided to join the Miami Heat put the player in danger.

Shortly after James announced his decision last week, Gilbert fired off an incendiary letter to Cleveland's fans, ripping the 25-year-old and promising to deliver a title before James wins one. He called James' decision "cowardly" and later told The Associated Press he believes James quit during a handful of Cavaliers playoff games.

"He has gotten a free pass," Gilbert told the AP in a phone interview late Thursday night. "People have covered up for [James] for way too long. Tonight we saw who he really is."

Jackson said Gilbert's comments were "mean, arrogant and presumptuous."

"He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers," the reverend said in a release from his Chicago-based civil rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. "His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship -- between business partners -- and LeBron honored his contract."

Messages were left Sunday night seeking comment from Gilbert, the Cavaliers and James.

Jackson also called Gilbert's comments an attack on all NBA players and said the owner should face a "challenge" from the league and the players' association.

NBA spokesman Tim Frank declined comment.

Just when you think people can't get any more depraved they fool you and come up with some new madness.

64 year old beastiality freak, Armand Marquis Pacher, a former insurance executive was arrested Friday (July 16) for allegedly having sex with his Great Dane.

People probably should have been suspicious when he named the dog after 80's supermodel Christie Brinkley.

Christie Brinkley

But it wasn't until Pacher's veterinarian called Gainesville, Florida police to report him did the dirty truth come to light.

When a vet worker called Pacher to reschedule the 2 1/2 year old dog's eye surgery, the old pervert started talking about sex with the animal according to the Miami Herald.

"She doesn't seem to enjoy it as much when we have sex. Maybe it's because I haven't been as energetic lately and that's why she's not enjoying it," he allegedly told the worker.

When the dog was later brought into the clinic a veterinarian concluded that the spayed dog's body had evidence of forced sexual activity, the warrant said. The doctor said the evidence could not have come from another dog.

An arrest warrent was issued and Pacher was booked at Miami-Dade jail, charged with third-degree felony animal cruelty and facing up to five years in prison.

Pacher's lawyer. Jefferey Weiner said the vet worker misunderstood his client and it was only a joke.

"I'm quite familiar with the evidence that exists, and I'm really disappointed that Aventura police would make an arrest based on unsupported evidence and conclusions," Weiner said. "I expect my client will be full vindicated."

Last night (July 8), Lebron James brought tears of joy to the city of Miami. While at the same time crushing the hopes of fans in New York and Cleveland.

New York's number one goal coming into the off season was to sign Lebron at all costs. He was offered free lap dances for life from a Gentleman's Club and the chance to play in the biggest media market on the planet. No doubt his endorsements would have gone through the roof.

At least the Knicks have a great starting piece though, having signed Amare Stoudemire away from the Pheonix Suns and lots of cap room left to go after more players.

In Cleveland, the loss of James was a much more bitter pill to swallow. Owner Dan Gilbert labeled the star player a quitter. Claiming James tanked in this years playoff series against the Boston Celtics.

"He quit," Gilbert said. "Not just in Game 5, but in Games 2, 4 and 6. Watch the tape. The Boston series was unlike anything in the history of sports for a superstar. Go back and look at the tape, how many shots did he take?"

While fans in Cleveland took the streets and burned James' # 23 Jersey. Hoping Lebron would somehow feel the sting of betrayal the city and it's fans feel.

"We've supported him for seven years out," said one angry Cleveland fan. "And for him to go in there and drag us through the mud for seven years and stab us in the heart..he deserves everything he gets. I hope he never wins anything in Miami!"

Cleveland Cavaliers Owner rips Lebron James in an open letter to Cavaliers fans.

Dear Cleveland, All Of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Cavaliers Supporters Wherever You May Be Tonight;

As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier.

This was announced with a several day, narcissistic, self-promotional build-up culminating with a national TV special of his "decision" unlike anything ever "witnessed" in the history of sports and probably the history of entertainment.

Clearly, this is bitterly disappointing to all of us.

The good news is that the ownership team and the rest of the hard-working, loyal, and driven staff over here at your hometown Cavaliers have not betrayed you nor NEVER will betray you.

There is so much more to tell you about the events of the recent past and our more than exciting future. Over the next several days and weeks, we will be communicating much of that to you.

You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal.

You have given so much and deserve so much more.

In the meantime, I want to make one statement to you tonight:

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING’ WINS ONE"

You can take it to the bank.

If you thought we were motivated before tonight to bring the hardware to Cleveland, I can tell you that this shameful display of selfishness and betrayal by one of our very own has shifted our "motivation" to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels.

Some people think they should go to heaven but NOT have to die to get there.

Sorry, but that's simply not how it works.

This shocking act of disloyalty from our home grown "chosen one" sends the exact opposite lesson of what we would want our children to learn. And "who" we would want them to grow-up to become.

But the good news is that this heartless and callous action can only serve as the antidote to the so-called "curse" on Cleveland, Ohio.

The self-declared former "King" will be taking the "curse" with him down south. And until he does "right" by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma.

Just watch.

Sleep well, Cleveland.

Tomorrow is a new and much brighter day....

I PROMISE you that our energy, focus, capital, knowledge and experience will be directed at one thing and one thing only:

DELIVERING YOU the championship you have long deserved and is long overdue....
Dan Gilbert
Majority Owner
Cleveland Cavaliers

WSVN Reports Miami Police have released surveillance video of four armed men storming into a barber shop and attacking a local entertainer before robbing him. Police said four black males between the ages of 18 and 25 years old invaded a barber shop on July 29 where Opa-Locka rapper, "Brisco", was getting his hair cut. The armed subjects ordered the employees and customers to the floor inside the shop located at 6301 Northwest Sixth Avenue. One of the men pistol-whipped "Brisco" and robbed him of his gold chain, watch, money and his sport utility vehicle. "There was a local rapper who had just left the photoshoot. He went to a barber shop to get his hair cut. They took a little bit more off the top then expected," said Miami Police Officer Jeffery Giordano. "This robbery was off the chain. Four men entered the store, guns drawn, firing shots, luckily no one was hurt, robbing each individual that was in the barber shop. For a rapper to have his bling stolen, they might have well stolen that man's heart. They took his car also. He had a Range Rover. The vehicle was recovered in another location." Authorities want to question an unknown man who was sitting in corner of the barber shop on a cellphone before robbery took place. Officials said after everything was stolen, one of the subjects tapped that man and he ran out.

Trick Daddy is a Miami legend. Any of the cats from the city who dominate radio today — Pitbull, Flo Rida, DJ Khaled — they have to give it up to the man first known as Trick Daddy Dollars. He's been a permanent fixture on the MIA scene, and it looks like he's not going anywhere anytime soon. Trick recently started his own independent label Dunk Ryders, and his Finally Famous: Born a Thug Die a Thug LP should drop in late August or early September. There's also an autobiography and a film by the same name due soon. As we keep rocking with Miami Week, Trick gives us his list of homegrown artists who impacted their city the most. Also, be sure to check out our exclusive 'hood tour with Trick included below. Trick Daddy's Top 10 Most Influential Miami Artists Luke and the 2 Live Crew Influential Record: "Move Somethin' " Trick's Take: "Luke is the godfather. He introduced the country to the music that we had cultivated in Miami. They captured the whole Miami feel, everything it represents — beautiful women and an opulent lifestyle." Uncle Al and the Sugar Hill DJs Influential Record: They broke everything! Trick's Take: "Al represented the underground radio movement. He made the music say what he wanted it to say. Al stayed 'hood, lived in the 'hood and kept the tradition of the bass bins [big wooden speaker with tweeters] and the street jams." Le Juan Love Influential Record: "Everybody Say Yeah" Trick's Take: "He was a young dude at the time — he was hot. He was the sh--. He never came out on the pretty-boy tip. He was always 'hood. The kids loved him and the grown folks loved him." Disco Rick and the Dogs Influential Record: "Your Mama's on Crack Rock" Trick's Take: "Rick gave street commentary. He talked about how we lived, how we were growing up. His music removed the censorship and gave you a look inside the real ghetto." J.T. Money & the Poison Clan Influential Record: "Dance All Night" Trick's Take: "They were the first group from Miami that everybody rapped. Everyone had skills. They talked from the street hustler's perspective. J.T. was also one of the first to talk about the tension between the tourists and the locals. He talked about the smash-and-grab crime wave that was an epidemic at the time." Slip-N-Slide All Stars Influential Record: "Take It to the House" and "Shut Up" Trick's Take: "These were the first people I considered family outside of my real kin. Everyone was very talented. A time machine could have had all of us together and on the same page. With them, I've seen a lot, together we did a lot. Brawls, bras and Parle Thursdays — that sums up the time we spent together." Pitbull Influential Record: "Go Girl" Trick's Take: "Pit is the realist Chico (Cuban) I've ever met in my life. He's also the first to successfully introduce bilingual rapping. I have no other words to describe him. He's the realist I've seen in my life." Prince Raheim and Crazy Legs 59 Influential Record: "Lose My Money (Honey)" Trick's Take: "They epitomized the Miami bass sound. They helped shape that movement. A lot of their music was booty music. It was crazy in the clubs when their music came on." Clay D Influential Record: "Pull It All the Way Down" Trick's Take: "Clay is the original black, greasy and grill'd typical Miami dude. His music was disrespectful and full of bass." Half Pint Influential Record: "Stomp and Grind" Trick's Take: "Half Pint was also one of the pioneers of the Miami bass/club sound. Because he was also a DJ, he understood how to rock a party." Source:MTVNEWS
