Video After The Jump Twelve years ago, Jose Saenz was an LAUSD dropout and run-of-the-mill tagger known on the Eastside as Smiley, a nod to how much he enjoyed flashing his trademark brilliant grin. One day at age 22, he sidled up to two Eastside gangsters, pretending to be friend not foe. When Smiley got within point-blank range, he blew both young men away. Eleven days later, worried about a Prizzi's Honor-style scenario, Smiley grew convinced that those closest to him knew too much. He raped and executed his former girlfriend, mother of his two-year-old baby girl, and, horribly, left her ravaged body sprawled in his grandmother's bedroom.

Sigreda Fernandez pictured w/Smiley's baby. Murdered because he thought she knew too much And then Smiley vanished -- to Mexico, the FBI says, where he morphed from a Cuatro Flats gang member to a Mexican cartel drug soldier. Many facts about what unfolded inside Mexico are unknown. Smiley rose to operate in international drug smuggling circles. He sometimes used Tijuana bars as a base, crossing to the U.S. regularly with a bogus Mexican passport to do business with his gangster buddy Oscar Torres, owner of a Los Angeles Hummer limo service. But Oscar, a high-stakes drug dealer himself, ended up on Smiley's kill list after cops in a small Missouri town pulled Oscar over one day in 2008, searched his car, found $600,000 in hidden cash -- and then, incredibly, let Oscar go without trying to figure out what he was up to. The cash, however, stayed in Missouri. L.A. Weekly has obtained this video footage of the gruesome execution style killing of Oscar by Saenz. The shadowy, ethereal black and white surveillance video shows Saenz looking giddy and rubbing his hands gleefully before he is seen chasing Torres outside his two-bedroom home in the Pellissier Village Equestrian District in Whittier and executing him.

L.A. Weekly also obtained a copy of this song, "Bad Things," produced by Bogart Bello under his label Lott Records. The song is an homage to Bello's East Los Angeles gang called the Lott. Bello was found dead with a bag over his head in his car in a suburb of Los Angeles. Police believe FBI 10 Most Wanted Fugitive Jose Saenz may be responsible for his mysterious death. Video After The Jump On the evening of Sept. 7, 1996, Mike Tyson, the WBC heavyweight champion, attempted to take Bruce Seldon’s WBA title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. At this point in his career, Tyson’s fights had become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon, where the ever present hype of the professional boxing scene would come face to face with the worlds of big business, Hollywood, and hip hop. Sitting ringside was controversial rapper Tupac Shakur. Shakur and Tyson were friends, a feeling of kinship linked them as each rose to stardom from poverty only to be thrown in prison. Following Tyson’s victory, Shakur and “Iron Mike” were to celebrate at an after party, but the rap star never arrived. Shakur was brutally gunned down later that night, and the scene in Las Vegas quickly turned from would-be celebratory revelry to ill fated and inopportune tragedy. Director Reggie Bythewood, with the full cooperation of Mike Tyson, will tell not only the story of that infamous night but of the remarkable friendship between Tyson and Tupac ESPN twitter-5d.gif

Master P has some advice for Shyne Po.........stop rapping and go find another job.

The former No Limit CEO thinks Shyne needs to focus on more positive things so he doesn't end up in the same situation that got him locked up.

Since Shyne is getting older and records aren't selling like they used to, P suggests the rapper go into acting or find other opportunities outside of hip hop.

Sounds like pretty good advice from the dude that used to call himself the "Ice Cream Man".

What do you guys think, should Shyne hang up the mic and if so what should he do?

When French Montana and Waka Flocka Flame hit the building, expect the groupies to sniff them out and act accordingly.

Natalie Nunn from season 4 of the Oxygen reality show 'Bad Girls Club' along with Amber from Season 3 hit up the studio where the two rappers were holding court with their respective teams.

As usual, Natalie was talking mad trash about being the baddest bitch around. She and Amber engaged in some slore dialogue about each other's private parts. Both indicating that the other was the bigger tramp.

French was out in L.A. for a Waka Flocka video shoot. People try to hate, but that boy Waka is caking up right now.

Montana said his new mixtape 'Mac and Cheese 3' is coming out in 3 weeks.

Louisiana rap star Lil Boosie is literally in a fight for his life starting with his court appearance today.

Boosie, real name Torrance Hatch was indicted by a grand jury for the murder of 35 year old Terry Boyd. Police are also investigating what role he may have played in at least two other homicides according to AllHipHop.

A former employee of Boosie's Bad Azz Entertainment, Darryl “Bleek” Milton was found shot to death in his car April 1st.

Boosie is also a suspect in the shooting death of rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson who was killed last February. Nussie and Boosie had been beefing for a while.

In a 2009 interview, Nussie explains the origins of their beef. Saying he used Boosie's name recogntion as Boosie "Bad Azz" to get in the game by calling himself "Nussie" Bad Azz.

But the beef goes way deeper than that. People suspected Nussie had something to do with the murder of Boosie's friend, rapper Lil Ivey.

Nussie sheds some light on that situation during the interview as he speaks about a confrontation he had with Boosie..

"I told ya [Boosie] I aint killed ya boy [Lil Ivy]. If I did it, me and you wouldn't be talking right now, you said 'alright brah.'"

Nussie didn't take Boosie as a serious threat in the streets.

"To be honest with you, we not on the same level to be beefing," Nussie said. "It's kind of embarrassing for me to be saying i'm beefing with Boosie. Cause Boosie a talented rapper and i'm a gangster, aint no comparison."

Boosie is also dealing with a fan base that looks up to him and kids that are confused by the situation he's gotten himself into.

His friend, Arthur "Silky Slim" Reed told WAFB, "I think the most important part for us to realize is there are hundreds of thousands of little kids that listen to him and this is their hero," Reed said. "When you come from basically nothing, these communities are basically nothing but survival camps. When someone makes it out, you look up to them."

"I don't have a huge amount to say about Boosie. Boosie has to stand up and be a man for his actions. My whole thing is that kids should see this as a turning point in their lives," Reed added.

Some fans are standing behind the rapper by posting "Free Boosie" messages on websites, but others are fed up.

A Facebook user by the name of "E.R." wrote "Boosie dumb as hell how u famous and still doin the same stuff u use to do, u suppose to exclude urself from that type of lifestyle and try and better others when u make it."

Boosie says he's innocent, but faces a tough legal battle. If convicted of 1st degree murder he faces the possibility of death by lethal injection.

I know yall thought Pastor Mason Betha wasn't really preaching the good word, but Ruff Ryders rapper Eve begs to differ.

Eve says a chance encounter with the sometimes rapper, sometimes preacher gave her the inspiration to pursue her rapping career.

The pair met when Ma$e was still wearing those shiny suits for Puffy and Bad Boy Records.

Ma$e stopped by the gentlemen's club where Eve was working that pole and convinced her she could do better.

Eve told VH1's Behind The Music about the encounter.

"He came into the club and looked at me and literally was like, 'What's your name?' And I gave him every stripper name under the sun! I was like, 'I'm Ginger, I'm Sassy!' He was like, 'Why don't you go get dressed, let's go just talk.' And we did, we talked throughout the night. He was like, 'You're really talented. What are you doing? You know you're not supposed to be here. You know it.'

Eve took what he said to heart.

"It was a confirmation for me that all these thoughts, all this sadness. All these times that I wake up in the morning, I'm like, 'Why do I feel like this?' And I know I'm not supposed to be there. It just woke me up."

Already a talented rapper, 18 year old Eve got an audition with Mike Lynn, A&R of Aftermath Records. After one verse and hook he knew he had a star.

Mike introduced Eve to Dr Dre who signed her to a record deal. But after Eminem came into the picture, Aftermath released her after only 8 months.

Eventually she got a chance to audition for Ruff Ryders and the rest is history.

We throw the world "celebrity" around too liberally these days. Take some person off the street, put them on a reality show and watch them fight and get drunk and that makes them a celeb?

I don't think so, but I guess the general public doesn't agree with me.

One of those new celebs, Natalie Nunn has gotten lots of face time recently because of her outrageous antics on the show 'The Bad Girls Club'. Also because she regularly bashes Rihanna while sticking up for her abuser Chris Brown.

VladTV asked her what she's been up to since 'Bad Girls' wrapped.

"I was on a party tour all over the United States. I was hosting parties, it's just been great. Ive been to every state. States I really didn't even know existed that had like a population, been there."

The rest of the interview sounded a lot like "blah blah blah blah". So I used that time to try to figure out exactly what the hell is that thing on her lip?

Help me out people.

It looks like Shyne is coming home. After many fake dates swirled around over the past few years, a judge has set October for Shyne's release from prison after serving eight years. Obviously, the first thing his fans can hope for is that Shyne finds peace and tranquility in his personal life while he gets acclimated back into society. Then, there's his music career. Before Shyne was incarcerated, the young Brooklyn rapper was one of hip-hop's blue-chip MCs: sharp lyrics, distinctive voice, a captivating presence, respect from his peers and a major powerhouse behind him, Bad Boy Records. Shyne left Bad Boy years ago to go to Def Jam (a company that was one of many to woo him for his first recording contract). Godfather Buried Alive was released on the label in 2004. So what happens next for Shyne's career? Rahman Dukes and I contemplated Shyne's next move. Rahman feels that aligning with Jay-Z and Roc Nation is a can't-miss. Rah says the Brooklyn connection could be unbeatable, seeing that Jay's reach and influence is so vast. I see it a little differently. While you cannot argue that anything associated with Young Hov will be successful, I'm thinking of Shyne partnering up with another heavyweight: Kanye West. Yes, Kanye. Kanye is arguably the best producer in the game today. Shyne will have a helluva story to tell, he has the credibility and hopefully his flow will still be intact. Lyrically, he told me five years ago that he's written 10 albums in prison. All he needs are some beats. There's no producer in the game right now whose track will make a more beautiful marriage with Shyne's vocals. Me and Rahman also look forward to Just Blaze, Swizz Beatz and Cool & Dre working with Shyne if we had our wish.

NY Daily News Reports Hey, Omarosa - you're inspired? The reality show bad girl, best known for her appearances with Donald Trump on "The Apprentice," began studies this week to become a minister. The swap of reality for spirituality began Monday at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Omarosa is studying for a doctorate of ministry. When Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth arrived at the seminary, President Wendy Deichmann greeted her with a gift: A mustard seed. The present referred to the biblical Parable of the Mustard Seed, where Jesus Christ compares the kingdom of heaven to a tiny seed that blossoms into something much bigger. "Very few people have faith in my transformation, so this is a wonderful gift," Omarosa told her. The doubters may have caught her villainous act on "The Apprentice" or another reality show, "The Surreal Life." And even Omarosa herself was a little nervous about the move. "First day of school jitters," she wrote on her Twitter page. Omarosa is studying the Old and New Testaments, along with the history of Christianity. Her education also requires field work among the sick and dying at local hospitals.

Antoine Walker Facing Bad Check Charges from ChasinDatPaper on Vimeo.

KVBC Reports He partied and gambled heavily in Las Vegas. And now, another sports figure finds himself in legal "foul trouble." Tuesday afternoon, a Las Vegas judge issued an arrest warrant for ex-NBA star Antoine Walker. He's facing felony bad check charges for allegedly not paying back some enormous casino debts. News 3's Steve Crupi is digging deeper into the details of this case and reports that three big casinos are involved. According to the criminal complaint, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, and the Red Rock Station gave former NBA star Antoine Walker huge amounts of gambling money.

He allegedly received $1 million in all, most of which he has not re-paid. Walker played last year for the Minnesota Timberwolves. And before that, he was a three-time all-star with the Celtics. And he is again racking up big numbers, but not on the scoreboard. The criminal complaint against Walker says he received ten separate casino loans for $100,000. He has failed to pay back more than $800,000-worth of that money, lost gambling last year at Caesars, Planet Hollywood, and the Red Rock. Walker is not the first sports figure to run up massive unpaid debts. Last year, it was former NBA star Charles Barkley who was late with his payments. He spoke about his love of blackjack back in 2007. "I like to gamble. I'm going to gamble. I like to gamble, it's my money." But it's not always a gambler's money: Casinos routinely "loan" players vast sums, having them sign markers that are treated like checks under Nevada law. The Clark County District Attorney's Office sees a lot of bad check cases involving casinos. "On a daily basis, we see large amounts of money that people don't repay," confirms prosecutor Bernie Zadrowski. The arrest warrant for Antoine Walker comes at a time when the NBA's attention is already on Las Vegas, with its summer league in its fifth day. The event features young players, however, most of whom aren't making big money yet. But one question people always ask is aren't the casinos just as much at fault in these cases? They hand over such big sums of money to people who may not be making the best decisions. But this is something the casinos don't like discussing. A court date of July 20 has been set for Antoine Walker; no word yet on whether he's made any arrangements to turn himself in.
