Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are the proud parents of twins. The pop diva went into labor on Saturday at 12:07 p.m. EST at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital, Mariah’s publicist Cindi Berger confirmed to The Associated Press.
The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and was 18 inches long, with her brother following at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and was 19 inches.
The couple has not disclosed the babies’ names yet. Nick drove his wife to the hospital in their Rolls-Royce Phantom, added Berger. Mariah, 41, thought she was experiencing false labor pains, but remained calm.
Nick, 30, was so nervous that he went to the wrong department at the hospital, and was led to the maternity ward by a nurse. They were reportedly listening to Mariah’s hit single “We Belong Together” after the children were born.
“My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won’t ever be able to top this!” tweeted the new dad following his children’s birth.
Mariah and Nick are expected to celebrate their third anniversary by renewing their wedding vows on Sunday. The singer announced her pregnancy last fall after previously suffering a miscarriage.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z made a grand entrance at the Costume Institute’s “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (May 2). All eyes were on hip-hop’s royal couple as they posed for photos together, Jay in a black-and-white tux and his wife in an ornate black-and-gold Pucci fishtail gown.
The fashion and entertainment worlds collided at the star-studded event, which was dedicated to the late designer Alexander McQueen and featured a performance from Florence + the Machine.
Rihanna turned heads in a revealing black Stella McCartney creation with long red braid, Alicia Keys was the belle of the ball in a Givenchy gown, Kanye West sported a tux from Tory Burch’s new menswear line, Ciara strutted in a Prabal Gurung show stopper, Jennifer Hudson was a fairy tale princess in Vera Wang, and Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige were gorgeous in Gucci.

Kanye West’s and Jay-Z’s Watch The Throne: We all know it’s coming, or at least we hope, but today The DOTR comes through with some news on one of the tracks that we can expect on hear on the disc. The track is titled “Lift Off” and will supposedly be the first track on the album. Production is handled by Jeff Bhasker and will feature two big name artists by the names of Beyonce and Bruno Mars. This news is most likely true, but we’ll keep it marked as rumor until we get confirmation. Look out for Watch The Throne when it drops later this year.

Stack Bundles, founder of his own crew Tha Riot Squad and Jim Jones’ group M.O.B., was a superstar in the making before his life was tragically taken on June 11, 2007. The world has awaited his debut album Rockstar ever since, settling for iTunes compilations of unreleased material in the meantime.
But before the notoriety, Stack Bundles and fellow Riot Squad member Cau2gs were just two kids from Far Rockaway. Street Video/Street Radio and 2GS Films have teamed up to release a DVD of unreleased footage and freestyles from 2001. Almost exactly 10 years later, this DVD gives an exclusive glimpse into the seedling days of Tha Riot Squad.
As Stack announces on the DVD, “Stack Bundles and Cau2gs album coming. Lloyd Banks visited Tim Westwood’s London flat (is it a flat? or a home?) for an episode of Tim’s new show “Westwood’s Crib Session,”….and along with talking about Banks’ childhood in Queens, the beef with Game, and more. Westwood also got Banks to spit a lil’ freestyle. The video is 50minutes long because it’s an entire episode, but you also get to see what videos they’re playing over in the UK. I’m more intrigued by Tim’s snazzy neon-lit bookcase and his chairs made with auto exhaust pipes!

I'm actually surprised we don't see this happen more often.
A news crew from Sacramento tv station Fox40 was attacked by angry family members of a shooting victim.
27-year-old Chester Jackson was shot and killed in a parking lot outside an IHOP early morning Sunday (February 20). His family gathered in the parking lot and set up a makeshift memorial. When reporter John Lobertini and photojournalist Rebecca Little approached to see if anyone wanted to talked, things got ugly.
"This is one of the hazards of the business but we didn't expect what we encountered here today," said Lobertini.
Before things escalated into violence, one woman is seen yelling at the news crew, who didn't back down. Then someone is seen pulling Little to the ground by her hair as they attempted to stop her from filming.
"When I fell on the ground I was protecting myself, and then she kicked me and I was still kinda paralyzed, and I hear my reporter John say, 'get up, get up,'" Little told Fox40
It was just an unfortunate situation for everyone. I know I wouldn't want some guy sticking a mic in my face right after a relative was killed. Hopefully the news crew won't try to press any charges.
At one point you can hear family members respond to her saying she was kicked by replying "nobody hit you."
"I know people are going through rough times but that's still my job. I wasn't trying to get in their face and be disrespectful," Little said.
