Street King Immortal is one of the most anticipated albums of 2013. 50 Cent wants everything in place to properly launch the project. For that reason he has decided to release it this spring instead of on February 26.
"This spring," 50 told MTV, regarding the album's release date. "Actually it's the system. There's a lot of adjustments being made. Obviously at Christmas 35 people got let go [at Interscope]. So, it's interesting. It's a shift in whose responsibilities are what. I'm confident they'll put it together though so it will be out."
While fans wait for Street King Immortal, expect 50 to continue to provide new music and visuals. The next video to be released from the G-Unit mogul will be "Major Distribution" featuring Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy.
"It's exciting. It's good. You get a chance to see us really work together, with me, Snoop and Jeezy, finally," Fif says of the new video. [With] Jeezy that was overdue. Me and Snoop have a relationship since '03."
50 Cent speaks on Street King Immortal's new release date.
People are buzzing about 50 Cent's new music video for "Major Distribution" featuring Young Jeezy and Snoop Dogg. The Eif Rivera-directed clip has all the key elements that make a hip hop video hot.
You have great verses from all 3 emcees, hot chicks, guns and of course that Maybach Music Group chain. Many people have speculated about where the chain came from. 50 Cent sat down with MTV and gave them an answer.
"It came from a jeweler. Jewelers, they made it. Yeah, we got it and ended up putting it in the video," the G-Unit boss explained. "That's what rappers do: Rappers put jewelry in videos."
Fif said contrary to previous reports the piece wasn't lifted from Gunplay's neck when he went flying through the air like a video game character at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.
"Rumors today, you can't believe everything you hear," 50 said. "The internet is crazy."

Kidd Kidd recently dropped his hot single "New Warleans" featuring Juvenile. The G-Unit/Rida Gang rapper recently sat down with Bernadette Giacomazzo of Hip Hop Stardom 101 to talk about why he gave his hometown that name.
"The city is actually New Orleans but I named it 'New Warleans' because it's a constant war going on down there," Kidd Kidd said. "Whether it's beef, police brutality or whether we're at war with ourselves. It's just all out war down there."
Kidd Kidd also discusses his position within the G-Unit camp and says the roster is a close-knit group..
"I wanna address the G-Unit fans too. Because when Fif started messing with me and we started putting out music together. A lot of fans [were] seeing that Banks wasn't around a lot. So a lot of people felt as though I got wit Fif to try to replace Banks or something like that. It's nothing like that," he explained. "I do my own thing, it's Rida Gang over here. It's G-Unit/Rida Gang. Much love to Banks. There's no kind of problems or beef between 50 and Banks. The media is always gonna make it what they wanna make it. But it's no kind of problems. It's blood, this is family around here."
The official music video for 50 Cent's new banger "Major Distribution" featuring Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy is coming soon. In the meantime check out this great behind the scenes footage of 50 and Jeezy filming their scenes for the Eif Rivera-directed clip.
Meek Mill is looking to continue to build on the momentum he built up in 2012 by preparing to release the third installment of his Dreamchasers mixtape series. The Philly emcee sits down with HipHopSince.com's Brandon Wyche to talk about that project and a lot more.
Meek said you can expect production on the mixtape from Jahlil Beats, Cardiak, Cardo, Tone Beats and Budda Da Future.
He also talks about his haters, people saying he's changed, being a Styles P fan, his endorsement deal with Puma and will he respond to Cassidy's "R.A.I.D." diss.
"We ain't doing that no more. Make a single n*gga," Meek said, addressing Cassidy. "I don't fo that all the time. That's not my twist. I did it for the hell of [because] you was running your mouth. Cuz a weirdo from the town. We ain't gonna use his name no more. He can't come back to the city really. The last five times he came back to the city he was back here with me or either Ar-Ab. He ain't address everything Ar-Ab said in none of his raps because he won't address it, he's scared to address it. He won't dare address that. And Ar-Ab ain't saying nothing new, he been saying sh*t like this. When Ar-Ab got shot ten times I'm the only n*gga that talked to him. When he did a song with Swizz [Beatz] I played parts in putting that together, Cuz is not even official."
Meek goes on to compare his current conflict with Cassidy to 50 Cent and Ja Rule's beef.
"Back in the day it was either you with 50 Cent or Ja Rule. I was with 50 Cent. No disrespect to Ja Rule, I was with 50 Cent. 50 Cent made Ja Rule look bad at the time," said Meek. "If you see [Cass] go on a DVD and talk crazy about me, don't listen to my raps no more. If it's 45 minutes of just straight nonsense, he just going in on me, I don't want you to listen to my sh*t no more. It's real and there's fake. And that's the difference with the game right now. I stick to the script. You ain't gonna see me with no tight a$$ clothes on. Freaky a$$ clothes. No dumba$$ songs to sell no records. I make good music, I rap hood sh*t, about money, the life I'm living right now. I ain't doing doing none of that freak, dumba$$ sh*t. And for a n*gga to say they made a lane for Philly. [Cass] had a dumba$$ song 'Come to My Hotel.' 'Drumma Bass,' a dumba$$ song. 'Drink and My 2 Step,' a dumba$$ song. None of my sh*t go near a direction like that."
Meek thinks Cassidy made a mistake by appearing in a recent video with the GD's in North Carolina.
"When you make a video with the GD's and then somebody that be with me run up on you and punch you in the mouth then I'm gonna be the bad guy. But now you taking it to another level," Meek explained. "If you rap...rap. You making a video about some sh*t with the GD's in North Carolina. I just came from North Carolina."
There's a lot more to the interview. Check it out below.
Super producer Timbaland is going to be really busy this year and he probably wouldn't have it any other way. The Virginia-based beat maker has three huge projects he will be devoting his time to in 2013.
To get things started, Timbaland is already working on Justin Timberlake's new album. The disc will be entirely-produced by Timbo, according to HipHopWired. The last time these two musical geniuses combined forces it produced magical results.
Justin's 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds was produced entirely by Timbaland. The project spawned the hits "SexyBack," "LoveStoned," "My Love" and "What Goes Around.../...Comes Around." The album won four Grammys and has been certified four-times platinum.
Timbaland will also lend his talents to Beyonce's upcoming fifth solo album. The singer confirmed the news during an interview with GQ.
"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream," she told GQ. "We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."
And last but certainly not least, Timbaland will be assisting 50 Cent at SMS Audio, where he is now an investment partner and member of the company’s board of directors.
"He invested and now he has equity ownership. He can help me in the decision making process while utilizing other acoustic engineers to get the highest sound quality possible." 50 said in a recent interview with MSN's Joseph Lee.
"50 Cent has created an aspirational audio brand that produces the highest caliber of headphones on the market,” said Timbaland in a statement. “I’m looking forward to working with 50 and being part of a company so eager to bring studio-quality sound to music fans all over the world.”
Fans have been dying to hear some new music from G-Unit, the group and very soon they may get their wish. During an interview with Billboard.biz, 50 Cent revealed that he, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks might be getting back into the studio together.
"People grow in different directions," 50 Cent says. "[They] have different agendas about things they want to do and they're sorting themselves out in that way and I'm focused on things that are important to me right now, but there's a strong possibility there will be a G-Unit [collaboration] with the three of us. But right now, I'm focused on my solo project."
G-Unit's last album was 2008's T.O.S. (Terminate on Sight).
During the interview 50 also discusses SMS Audio, Timbaland's involvement in the company, endorsing products, Street King Immortal and more. Head over to Billboard.biz to read it in full.
It seems like almost every week there is some kind of feud jumping off on Twitter. Whether it's artists going at each other or even fans popping off to stars, the social networking site has increasingly become a place where people end up in verbal wars.
50 Cent has a simple answer when it comes to people talking trash via Twitter. He thinks a lot of them become internet gangsters, hiding behind their keyboards to mask real life insecurities.
"When you're an artist and have an aggressive aura to you, people are urged to be aggressive enough to say something to you," 50 told SOHH, "And at that particular point, it's the only place that they could. They couldn't say it to you face-to-face because they'd end up in an awkward situation, like standing upside down on their head. [laughs] They're not [brave enough] to say it face-to-face, they're not strong enough to say the things they'd want to say to you and it's why they're on Twitter."
What do you think about what 50 has to say about these new age Twitter e-thugs?
50 Cent is in Las Vegas at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show promoting SMS Audio. MSN's Joseph Lee caught up with the business mogul to talk about his headphone line, Timbaland coming on board as an investor and how fast the company is growing.
"It feels great when you meet your projections," 50 joked, when asked how it feels to be CEO of SMS Audio. "We've had huge success. The touring in my music career has helped out a lot in the SMS venture because we've been able to launch in 46 countries over the last 2 years. I anticipated success, not as fast as it's actually taking off but sometimes you're surprised in a positive way."
50 said Timbaland became interested in investing in the company after falling in love with the special DJ edition headphones.
"He's just somebody that I actually respect. I play my music [and] use him as a soundboard to see how he responds to it," explained 50. "I sent him in a gift package the headsets from SMS Audio. And he starts to wear them in the studio, the DJ version of the headsets. He kind of fell in love with it and he had his investment guys sort out the possibilities of investing in the company. He invested and now he has equity ownership. He can help me in the decision making process while utilizing other acoustic engineers to get the highest sound quality possible."
50 goes on to talk about the charitable aspect of his business ventures and confirms his Street King Immortal album will be in stores on February 26th.
"I've worked on this album for 3 years," 50 said. "I've actually over-recorded it. I've recorded almost 70 songs for it. I'm going through a process right now where I have to cut records that I really love in order to meet different price points online that I know will be more effective sales wise. It's gonna be tough for me to get rid of some of the songs because I like them so much. In my head it has to be a certain way. I'm working on that process now. I'm happy with it... I'm excited."
S-1 (Symbolyc One) has been enjoying the success that comes along with producing records for artists such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Ghostface Killah, Erykah Badu and many others.
His latest hit record is 50 Cent's "My Life."
HipHop-N-More recently caught up with S-1 to talk about how that record came about and get his take on what it was like working with 50.
HHNM: Let me start off by saying that I love 50 Cent’s new single ‘My Life’ featuring Eminem and Adam Levine. How does it feel to work with 3 heavyweights like them on the same song?
S1: Oh man, it’s truly a blessing. It’s one of those things that as a producer you long to do. You desire to work with artists you grew up on. I’ve been a fan of 50, Eminem and Maroon 5. So just to be producing a track with all of them on, it is surreal.
HHNM: I’ve heard that the beat is almost 2 years old and 50 was holding it for a really long time. Can you please explain the background story to it and how the three artists came together on the song.
S1: Yeah so I met Dre McKenzie about 2 and a half years ago. I was sending records to 50 through Dre and Tony, the A&Rs up at G-Unit. Dre hit me one day and was like ‘I have held these 2 records for 50, he’s really diggin’ them’. One weekend I just happened to be in New York and decided to stop by G-Unit office. I talked to Dre, he played the two beats that 50 wanted. And coincidentally 50 happened to be there. He got out of his meeting and came to me and was like ‘yo, you got some crazy stuff’. He pulled me into his office and he played me the ‘My Life’ beat and started doing his verses and the hook right there to show me how he wanted the song to be.
HHNM: Oh so he already had the idea before you got there.
S1: Yeah, he already had the idea when I connected with him. But he hadn’t recorded the song yet. He spit the lyrics over the beat live for me in the office and was like ‘yo this could be really big’. And that was the last time I talked to 50. Throughout the 2 years or so I was hearing things from different people. Like this cat at Universal told me Eminem hopped on the record. Somebody else then told me Adam Levine jumped on it too. I was only getting little pieces of information until maybe like a few weeks before the song actually released when all the paperwork had to be done. That’s when I found out that they are about to release it as a single.
HHNM: Crazy. So do you have more work with him? Any chance he may have recorded to another beat of yours?
S1: I know he has one other beat of mine that he really likes but I’m not sure if it’s gonna make the album. He does have more of my production with him that he’s digging. I guess as we draw closer to the release of his album Street King Immortal, we will know better.
S1 was also behind the boards for Kanye West's 2010 banger "Power." Check out what he had to say about the record and his relationship with the G.O.O.D. Music CEO.
HHNM: ‘Power’ is definitely one of the most memorable songs you have produced. Are you working or planning to work with Kanye again?
S1: Yes, I’m always working with Kanye. In fact, I’m actually part of his production team Very G.O.O.D. Beats.
HHNM: Yeah I’ve heard something about that. So that’s like an official production team with producers signed to it?
S1: Yup, that’s his production team Very G.O.O.D. Beats and I’m very much a part of that. I’m always working with Kanye. He has maybe like 20 records with me (laughs). Where they’ll end up I have no idea but yeah, I’m always involved with stuff he’s working on, whether it’s his solo project or a G.O.O.D. Music compilation album. I’m always contributing my ideas of work to him.
HHNM: 20? Wow. Well he’s supposedly working on his new solo album so hopefully we’ll hear you on that.
S1: Oh yeah, he’s gearing up to like really go in on that. I’m definitely excited about being a part of that.

The first thing I learned from Curtis Jackson III, a.k.a. 50 Cent, was to stay on my toes. He can change plans as fast as he spits lyrics, which I learned after signing on to work with him on our just-released fitness book, Formula 50.
After introductory phone conversations and e-mails, I was scheduled to meet 50 Cent in person for the first time at the G-Unit offices in Manhattan. I flew from Boise, Idaho, to New York City on a Tuesday afternoon. After spending time with 50 on Wednesday, I was set to make a short trip to Columbus, Ohio on Thursday for the 2012 Arnold Sports Festival. The Arnold would begin in earnest the day after my scheduled meeting with the hip-hop star.
Early on Thursday morning, my iPhone buzzed. Rasheem was calling, although I had no idea who Rasheem was. "50 wants you to fly with him to L.A. tonight," he said. "Stand by for confirmation and details."
Seven hours later, I was waiting for 50 and his crew at an airfield 30 minutes outside New York. When 50 arrived, he was with Team Mayweather, led by Floyd Mayweather, Jr., his close friend of seven years. This was many months before their much-publicized Twitter meltdown, and two months before Floyd's victory over Henry Cotto. The rapper and boxer were heading to L.A. for a press conference promoting the fight—having flown in from L.A. less than 24 hours earlier.
Getting High With 50 Cent
The pilot headed to the cockpit and the flight attendant made her way through a cabin filled with seven or eight guys wearing crooked baseball hats of various teams, jackets matching the hats, and immense gold wristwatches—gifts from Mayweather to his crew. As casually as I exit a driveway, we were off. "I'm going out to support Floyd," said 50, the outlines of buildings fading to specks of light through the window. "Boxing is a different excitement [from rap]. His passion for music is really what started the relationship."
On the other side of the aisle, 50's love of boxing runs deep. When he was a chubby kid, it was boxing, not music, that helped harden his body and sharpen his mind. In boxing, every chump's gunning for the champ, and the same holds true in the rap game. As 50 puts it, "Right now, some producer is telling some kid, 'That track was bangin', you next.' Challengers come from all corners, so you meet aggression with aggression."
Words Like Fists
What do the world's best-known rapper and the world's best fighter talk about during a cross-country flight? Sports and women are recurring subjects; in other words, they talk about what the rest of us talk about. With no bell telling him to stop, Mayweather displayed boundless energy; he bobbed and weaved around the plane like he was still in the ring, an effect heightened when 50 told him to show me the speed of his jab, which stopped at the tip of one of my whiskers before I could blink.
50 was more measured and introspective, holding the center of gravity. Over five hours, I learned about his workouts, but I gleaned something even more valuable: the angles this highly unconventional man has played to build both his body and his empire. Here are the nine rules that help him in all facets of life, including fitness:
1. Make Sure Your Enemies Fear You And Your Allies Respect You.
At the time, 50 was slated to shoot The Tomb with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sly Stallone. Even though both icons are 30 years older than 50, he knew they wouldn't respect him if he showed up soft. "I can't be with those guys and look like I've been off to see the wizard," 50 told me. "You don't want those older guys looking like, 'You need some help?'"
What This Means For You This approach is key to maximizing your trainer/client relationships, no matter which side of the divide you're on. As a client, if you show up on time, you're raring to go, and you don't punk out, your trainer will guided through a better workout. As a trainer, you earn respect—and loyalty—by treating each and every client as a fitness peer, not just an hour's pay. In either case, preparation maximizes your return on investment.

50 will be attending several book signings in the upcoming weeks at Barnes and Nobles stores in Las Vegas, Nevada, New York, New York, Clifton, New Jersey and Queens, New York. For a complete itinerary please click here http://www.facebook.com/50cent/events.
Cassidy bounces back with a new 10 minute diss titled "R.A.I.D. (Robert Ass Is Dead)" aimed at Meek Mill. The Hustla spits over a variety of classic beats while going in.
Meek said "Repo" was the one and only diss song he would make in this war of words, but this might require a reply.
Hip-hop's last 12 months were so unpredictable. It used to be that you could count on certain heavyweights to carry us through a calendar year, but instead of solo releases from Jay-Z, Eminem, Lil Wayne or Kanye West, we were treated to a host of pleasant surprises in 2012.
2 Chainz, Kendrick Lamar and Meek Mill all delivered memorable solo debuts, while veteran MC Nas proved he can still craft classic material. Rick Ross held nothing back on God Forgives, I Don't, and T.I. got the trap back jumping on Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head.
Now that we have a number of new stars and returning veterans, 2013 could very well go down in the history books. Here are MTV News' most anticipated hip-hop albums of 2013:
50 Cent February marks the 10-year anniversary of 50 Cent's deafening debut Get Rich or Die Tryin',and to help mark the occasion, the G-Unit head is looking to drop his fifth LP, Street King Immortal. It's been four years since Fif's last studio LP, and fans are wondering if he's still got it. We're thinking yes.
Big Sean When Big Sean dropped his debut, Finally Famous, in 2011, we thought he did a mighty fine job, but being the perfectionist he is, the G.O.O.D. Music MC promised to up the ante for his sophomore disc, Hall of Fame. If the album is anything like his 2011 Detroit mixtape, rap fans are in for quite a treat.
Drake Drizzy has racked up a ton of life experience since releasing Take Care at the end of 2011. He's toured the world, rumbled (allegedly) with Chris Brown's crew and moved from Toronto to L.A. — and we're sure he's broken a heart or two. It all should make for very engaging music once Drake decides to drop his third LP.
Eminem Sean isn't the only Detroit player slated to drop an album this year. Eminem confirmed he is working on his Recovery follow-up, and while no release date has been given, a commemorativebaseball cap that went for sale on the rapper's website in October hinted at a 2013 release. We don't have much detail on the LP, but platinum producer No I.D. told MTV News that the two made plans to hit the studio.
Jay-Z Way back in December 2011, Hov revealed to MTV News he was in "a great place creatively" and not only hinted at a 12th solo LP, but told us we might get a Watch the Throne sequel with Kanye as well. In 2012, Hov stayed busy raising Blue Ivy and bringing the Nets to his native Brooklyn, so we never did get that album. We're not harboring any hard feelings; we know Jigga Man is good for it!
J. Cole J. Cole takes this rap thing seriously. His tightly executed 2011 debut, Cole World: The Sideline Story, blended true-school hip-hop with some pretty poignant pop moments. We're looking for the Roc Nation MC/producer to do the same on his upcoming Born Sinner project. Already, the teaser single "Miss America" shows a ton of promise, thanks to its complex rhyme patterns and powerful social commentary.
Kanye West/ G.O.O.D. Music No, Kanye West didn't drop a solo LP last year, but he didn't exactly leave fans hanging either. G.O.O.D. Music's Cruel Summer LP gave listeners plenty of standout Yeezy moments, and word is the Louis Vuitton Don is working on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy follow-up. No I.D. confirmed the yet-untitled project with MTV News last July, and if we don't get that, we're still holding out for the mysterious Cruel Winter.
Lil Wayne We were supposed to get Weezy's I Am Not a Human Being II last year, but what's a highly anticipated rap LP without a few pushbacks? With his "No Worries" single beyond buzzing and his newly leaked "Good Kush & Alcohol" hitting the Net, it doesn't seem like we'll be waiting too long for Tunechi's next masterpiece.
Pusha T As one-half of the Clipse, Pusha T has already dropped countless sonic gems, but can he do it on his own? On his upcoming solo debut, My Name Is My Name, the G.O.O.D. Music rhyme dealer looks to permanently cement his name in the annals of rap.
Schoolboy Q The folks over at Top Dawg Entertainment got a good thing going. Last year, they partnered with Dr. Dre's Aftermath label to drop Kendrick Lamar's unforgettable good kid, m.A.A.d cityLP; now, it's all eyes on K-Dot's Black Hippy partner-in-rhyme Schoolboy Q, who is scheduled to drop his major debut, Oxymoron,in the coming months. If his independently released Habits & Contradictions is any barometer, fans can expect pure heat.
What do you think of MTV's list? Are there any projects you would add or subtract?

50 Cent dropped a teaser of his upcoming music video "Major Distribution" last week. Here's some pics from the set featuring Tha Dogg Pound and Snoop Dogg.
Before Yuri Gambo's return to the ring last Saturday, which resulted in a unanimous decision win over Michael Farenas, the boxing champ and 50 Cent sat down with Angie Martinez at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
50 talks to Angie about the excitement of his first SMS Promotions fight, learning spanish, bringing better undercard competition to keep fans in their seats before the main events and more.
Gamboa discussed making weight, 50's presence as his promoter and more.
