Nicki Minaj‘s brother on Monday was sentenced to 25 years to life behind bars for repeatedly raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

Jelani Maraj learned his fate in a Long Island courtroom, following his conviction for predatory sexual assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

The sentence comes two years after a jury handed down the guilty verdict for the sexual abuse, which began in 2015.

The stepdaughter took the stand in the 2017 trial to testify that Maraj raped her in their Baldwin home while he was married to her mother.

Maraj denied the allegations, claiming the story was concocted to extort his famous younger sister.

Report via TMZ -- Nipsey Hussle will take one last victory lap around L.A. before he's laid to rest, and the procession will touch much of the city ... especially the neighborhoods he fiercely supported.

Sources close to the slain rapper tell TMZ ... Nipsey's casket will travel to a few important landmarks, including his Marathon clothing store, where he was shot to death. All told, the procession will cover just over 25 miles as it winds through South L.A. following Thursday's memorial service at Staples Center.

Our sources say Nipsey's casket will be at Staples during the celebration of life, and the funeral procession will start as soon as the service ends. We're told Nipsey's family wanted to make sure the community got an opportunity to pay respects along the route because most people won't be able to attend the memorial. Staples only seats 21,000.

As you know, Nipsey's store -- at the intersection of Slauson and Crenshaw -- was central in his life and death. He intentionally opened it there to support his neighborhood, but, sadly, it's also where he was killed ... and where several vigils have been held since then.

We're told the procession is expected to take about an hour and a half, ending at a funeral home in the Crenshaw district.

Daz Dillinger of the rap group Tha Dogg Pound could be staring at significant prison time after being indicted on two felony drug charges.

It could have been much worse, but prosecutors dropped 11 of the 13 charges against him.

Daz's legal trouble stems from a September of 2018 drug bust at his Powder Springs, Georgia home. During the raid police found 117 grams of weed, including in several cigarillo packets and a green mason jar, and a bunch of THC oil.

TMZ reports that the 45-year old rapper, born Delmar Drew Arnaud, could be facing as many as 25 years in prison if convicted.

Bow Wow's relationship with former mentor Jermaine Dupri is currently strained at best. The two now seem to be at odds over comments JD made during a recent interview on The Breakfast Club.

"I don't even be follow Bow Wow (on social media) by the way," Dupri said. "How long have I been dealing with this? This been every day of my life since he was 12-years old. Bow Wow's been the same. The dude used to come on my bus and steal my jewelry. When he was 12, I had my jewelry laid on the bus. He'd come off his bus and steal my jewelry, and take my jewelry and run on his bus. His bus would be gone and I'd have to wait to get my jewelry. He's been doing that crazy stuff to me."

Bow Wow took to Twitter Sunday, September 23, to address the drama, saying he would not be a part of So So Def's 25-year anniversary tour.

"Why cant niggas just keep my name out they mouth," the 31-year old, born Shad Moss, tweeted. "2 types of people i never met in my life a motherfucker like me or a motherfucker i need. I wont be there . News- i never was signed to so so def 'contractually' i was always on columbia. They let jd produce my album because he was on columbia. Why you think when he left he aint take me? He couldnt. 3rd album he was no where to be found on it FACTS."

There's that.

Luke Aikins has nerves of steel!

The 42-year old skydiver made history on Saturday, July 30, by becoming the first person to survive a jump without a parachute.

Aikins accomplished the feat when he leaped from a plane and landed in a 100-by-100 foot net 25,000 feet below, just outside of Simi Valley, California at the Big Sky movie ranch.

12352296283?profile=original

According to CNN, he completed the landing at 120 mph terminal velocity.

The historic moment was broadcast live on Fox for the TV special "Stride Gum Presents Heaven Sent."

Aikens thanked everyone who helped turn his vision into reality via a Facebook post.

"We did and cannot thank everyone enough for the support," he wrote. "My vision was always proper preparation and that if you train right you can make anything happen. Thank you!!!!"

Video After The Jump

SAGAMIHARA, Japan (AP) — A young Japanese man went on a stabbing rampage Tuesday at a facility for the mentally disabled where he had been fired, officials said, killing 19 people months after he gave a letter to Parliament outlining the bloody plan and saying all disabled people should be put to death.

When he was done, Kanagawa prefectural authorities said, 26-year-old Satoshi Uematsu had left dead or injured nearly a third of the almost 150 patients at the facility in a matter of 40 minutes in the early Tuesday attack. It is Japan's deadliest mass killing in decades. The fire department said 25 were wounded, 20 of them seriously.

12352266290?profile=original

A Facebook picture of Satoshi Uematsu

Security camera footage played on TV news programs showed a man driving up in a black car and carrying several knives to the Tsukui Yamayuri-en facility in Sagamihara, 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Tokyo. The man broke in by shattering a window at 2:10 a.m., according to a prefectural health official, and then set about slashing the patients' throats.

Sagamihara fire department official Kunio Takano said the attacker killed 10 women and nine men. The youngest was 19, the oldest 70.

Details of the attack, including whether the victims were asleep or otherwise helpless, were not immediately known. Kanagawa prefecture welfare division official Tatsuhisa Hirosue said many details weren't clear because those who might know were still being questioned by police.

The suspect calmly turned himself in about two hours after the attack, police said.

Uematsu had worked at Tsukui Yamayuri-en, which means mountain lily garden, from 2012 until February, when he was let go. He knew the staffing would be down to just a handful in the wee hours of the morning, Japanese media reports said.

?m=02&d=20160726&t=2&i=1147008524&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6P00X

The facility employs more than 200 people, including part-timers, with nine of them working the night of the attack, Hirosue said. All those killed were patients.

"They were working at night and got questioned by police after witnessing graphic violence, making them a little emotionally unstable now," he said.

Not much is known yet about his background, but Uematsu once dreamed of becoming a teacher. In two group photos posted on his Facebook, he looks happy, smiling widely with other young men.

"It was so much fun today. Thank you, all. Now I am 23, but please be friends forever," a 2013 post says.

But somewhere along the way, things went terribly awry.

In February, Uematsu tried to hand deliver a letter to Parliament's lower house speaker that revealed his dark turmoil. It demanded that all disabled people be put to death through "a world that allows for mercy killing," Kyodo news agency and TBS TV reported. The Parliament office also confirmed the letter.

Uematsu boasted in the letter that he had the ability to kill 470 disabled people in what he called was "a revolution," and outlined an attack on two facilities, after which he said he will turn himself in. He also asked he be judged innocent on grounds of insanity, be given 500 million yen ($5 million) in aid and plastic surgery so he could lead a normal life afterward.

"My reasoning is that I may be able to revitalize the world economy and I thought it may be possible to prevent World War III," the letter says.

The letter was delivered before Uematsu's last day of work at the facility, but it was unclear whether the letter played a role in his firing, or even if his superiors had known about it.

The letter included Uematsu's name, address and telephone number, and reports of his threats were relayed to local police where Uematsu lived, Kyodo said.

Kanagawa Gov. Yuji Kuroiwa apologized for having failed to act on the warning signs.

Some people in the area said they were shocked that Uematsu is accused, and described him as polite and upstanding.

Akihiro Hasegawa, who lived next door to Uematsu, said he heard Uematsu had gotten in trouble with the facility, initially over sporting a tattoo, often frowned upon in mainstream Japanese society because of its association with criminal groups.

"He was just an ordinary young fellow," he said.

?m=02&d=20160726&t=2&i=1147008528&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6P00Z

Yasuyuki Deguchi, a criminologist, said Uematsu's alleged actions were typical of someone who bears a grudge and seeks revenge, because it appeared he planned out the attack, and then he turned himself in to police.

"Accomplishing his goal was all he wanted," Deguchi said on TV Asahi.

Michael Gillan Peckitt, a lecturer in clinical philosophy at Osaka University in central Japan, and an expert on disabled people's issues in Japan, said the attack speaks more about Uematsu than the treatment of the disabled in Japan.

"It highlights the need for an early-intervention system in the Japanese mental health system. Someone doesn't get to that state without some symptoms of mental illness," he said.

?m=02&d=20160726&t=2&i=1147068519&w=&fh=&fw=&ll=644&pl=429&sq=&r=LYNXNPEC6P0NF

Mass killings are rare in Japan. Because of the country's extremely strict gun-control laws, any attacker usually resorts to stabbings. In 2008, seven people were killed by a man who slammed a truck into a crowd of people in central Tokyo's Akihabara electronics district and then stabbed passers-by.

In 2001, a man killed eight children and injured 13 others in a knife attack at an elementary school in the city of Osaka. The incident shocked Japan and led to increased security at schools.

This month, a man stabbed four people at a library in northeastern Japan, allegedly over their mishandling of his questions. No one was killed.

Video After The Jump

Earl Simmons a.k.a. DMX appeared on the Dr. Phil show today. The talented. but troubled rapper has been in the headlines a lot over the last several years. Most of the news hasn't been positive. He told Dr. Phil that he wanted people to get an honest perception of who he is as a person.

Dark Man revealed why he ran through a hotel lobby naked. Talks about his 12 children with 6 different women, being behind $1.2 million in child support payments, his weed and alcohol habit, 25 arrests since 1994, an animal cruelty charge, his relationship with his mother, his childhood, getting arrested for impersonating a federal agent, belief in God and more.

GQ Names The 25 Worst Rappers Of All Time

12350248496?profile=original

List After The Jump

Lists of the best and worst artists of any genre of music are generally hard to make. There are obvious choices for either category, then there's the gray area where depending on what region of the country you're from could sway your opinion one way or another.

GQ has put a list together of the 25 worst rappers of all time. Most of them are dead on, but a couple may leave you scratching your head. Peep the list below.

25. Tom Green

12350248886?profile=original

Confession: We've never heard 2005's released-only-in-Canada CD Prepare For Impact. If he wanted it released outside of Canada, he shouldn't have titled a song "Don't Mess With A Man (After He Takes A Big Poo Poo)."

24. MC Skat Cat

12350249655?profile=original

A cartoon feline who rapped on Paula Abdul's 1989 hit "Opposites Attract," then "went solo," with voiceovers done by a Minneapolis radio deejay. As discriminating a judge as Abdul was on American Idol, as good a singer as Abdul was on "Opposites Attract"—that was the level of Skat Kat's rhyming.

23. Chingy

12350250080?profile=original

After Nelly brought St. Louis lingo to the masses, Chingy appeared in 2003 with a debut that made his STL roots obvious: "He's Herre," "Right Thurr," and "Wurrs My Cash." His commercial pizazz faded as his good-time topics (sex, money, having sex with girls who like his money) stayed the same, and he titled his fourth album Hate It or Love It, which turned out to be an easy choice. On the other hand, if you get a good laugh out of "That's me, Ching-a-ling, equipped with much ding-a-ling," you might object to his inclusion here.

22. Joaquin Phoenix

12350250284?profile=original

It was all a hoax, a meta-commentary on celebrity culture that played out like the worst RISD freshman project ever: in 2009, Phoenix announced his retirement from acting to start a "rap career," rhymed badly on a Vegas stage and then fell off of it, and went on David Letterman's show looking like a Hasidic version of pre-death Jim Morrison. A year later, he released his mockumentary I'm Still Here, which flopped, proving again that old saw: Jokes are better when they're funny.

21. Too $hort

12350250483?profile=original

Not even Too $hort will be surprised to see Too $hort's name on this list. "Serious hip-hop fans, they'll boldly say, 'Too $hort ain't the best, Too $hort ain't got the best lyrics,'" he admits. This pioneer of Bay Area hip-hop has had an unusually long career—even he's lost track of how many records he's done—most of it pedestrian. He has no interest in being "a rapper who rapped in metaphors, and said slick shit," he declares, which is kind of like a NASCAR driver saying he doesn't want to drive fast.

20. Will Smith

12350251081?profile=original

At this point, he'd duet with Frank the Pug if he thought it would sell a few extra movie tickets.

19. Pro athletes, post 1985

12350251489?profile=original

When the Chicago Bears made the (Grammy-nominated!) "Super Bowl Shuffle," it paved the way for other over-indulged jocks to rhyme at sub-amateur levels. Take the Lakers' Ron Artest, whose idea of gangsta was starting beef with silver-haired, bespectacled David Stern and Matt Lauer ("You look like a girl"). One jock we'll exempt: Shaq, for his "Kobe, tell me how my ass tastes" freestyle.

18. Soulja Boy

12350251866?profile=original

In "Pretty Boy Swag," Soulja Boy repeats the song title, with the same dead inflection, thirty-six times. By reducing hip-hop to chants, ringtone beats, and vapid boasting, he has inspired a notable generation gap: everyone over 25 seems to hate him, from LeBron James to Ice-T, who accused him of "single-handedly killing hip-hop." Because ganging up on somebody is always wrong, and because we're equally capable of killing hip-hop, we've written about half of a song for Soulja Boy: "Man I look pretty / Your mama's ass is shitty / Gonna buy a big watch and wear it 'round the city." The more times you say it, the better it sounds!

17. Weed carriers (St. Lunatics, Bravehearts, D-12)

12350252089?profile=original

Once rappers become stars, they have the leverage to drag friends along with them into prosperity. They also need someone to transport weed, a job that dates back at least to "Spanish Tony" Sanchez, who was Keith Richards' personal drug mule. "Weed carrier" (aka baggage handler, tree stasher, or weed wallet) is the unflattering term to describe rappers who perhaps might not have record deals if an influential friend hadn't demanded it: The Bravehearts, St. Lunatics, and D-12.

16. Brian Wilson

12350252289?profile=original

"Smart Girls" is not well known because it's from an album, aptly titled Sweet Insanity, which was never released, but the circa-1990 track is easily found on YouTube. "My name is Brian and I'm the man / I write hit songs with a wave of my hand," he begins. Then it gets worse, as samples from old Beach Boys songs fly in without warning. Wilson's rapping is on par with Biz Markie's singing.

15. Madonna

12350252495?profile=original

No matter how incessantly rappers brag, no one has ever before boasted of having three nannies...a gardener and a stylist. The self-mockery in 2003's "American Life" is banal, and the only other song we know that mentions soy lattes is "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. Both suck.

14. David Bowie and Mickey Rourke

12350253087?profile=original

On "Shining Star (Makin' My Love)," released in 1987, they conjoin their ardor for Burroughs and Bukowski in the worst possible way: Bowie raps about Trotsky and scabs; Rourke answers with some pap about Sinn Féin, Hitler, and fingers in blood. How did this even happen? Bowie had gone crazy because of the international success of "Let's Dance." Rourke had gone crazy because he was Mickey Rourke.

13. Master P

12350254072?profile=original

When people praise Master P, it's usually for his bootstrap entrepreneurship: he rose from one of New Orleans' most despairing housing projects into a self-described "ghetto Bill Gates," though unlike the man born Percy Miller, Gates never branched into sports management, films, clothes, or phone sex. Master P was notorious for ostentation, including 22-carat-gold panels on his bedroom ceiling. (His net worth was once estimated at $361 million; four years later, he filed for bankruptcy.). But songs are virtually interchangeable, he's often accused of jacking ideas from other rappers, his lyrical signature is a constipated grunt (Uhhhhhh!), and in a Fortune magazine profile, a competing rap executive described P's record label as the "McDonald's of hip-hop," though to be fair, he appeared to mean it as a compliment.

12. Prince

12350254288?profile=original

If you're a singer who knocks rappers for being tone-deaf, as Prince did in "Dead on It," it's best not to be a singer who's beat-deaf and raps in a stiff, elementary way, as Prince did in the early 1990s on "My Name Is Prince," "Days of Wild," and a few others. Actual couplet: My name is Prince, and I am funky / When it come to funk, I am a junkie. Okay, but when it comes to rap, you are a flunky.

11. Eazy E

12350254479?profile=original

He had some malevolently funny lines (I'm Eazy E, and I got bitches galore / You might have a lot of bitches, but I got much more), but they were usually written by Ice Cube, who said it took "days" for Eazy to clumsily record his snaps. ("I can't do this shit," Eazy complained when asked to rhyme.) A small man—Cube called him a half-pint bitch, and Snoop referred to him as Tattoo—with a voice pitched midway between Geddy Lee and Fran Drescher, he was a one-dimensional gasbag with the rhythmic grace of a dot-matrix printer.

10. The two guys in the Black Eyed Peas who aren't will.i.am

12350255856?profile=original

Will produces the songs. Fergie sings the hooks. You do...what exactly?

9. Pitbull

12350255471?profile=original

A Cuban-American Vanilla Ice who flacks for Dr Pepper and Bud Light—try mixing those two for a fun speedball!—Pitbull specializes in mind-numbing Eurodisco about hot girls and nightlife, with witless, winking reminders of his heritage: My tongue is bilingual, ready to play with that spot where you tingle.

8. Everyone from England, ever

12350256064?profile=original

With one exception: Mike Skinner of the Streets.

7. MC Hammer

12350255689?profile=original

When people remember you more for your pants than your lyrics, it's a bad sign.

6.  Diddy

12350256085?profile=original

He's hit a trifecta: mocked on The Daily Show, on South Park, and in The Onion. Daddy/Diddy has a terrific ear for shameless hooks, and he knows the hustle, which is why he has money hangin' out the anus, to quote his most memorable lyric. But as a mumbly, indistinct rapper, he wouldn't be signed to any label he didn't own.

5. Kevin Federline

12350256886?profile=original

An ex–backup dancer for Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, Federline made the usual boasts about his tax bracket and expensive cars—but his ex-wife, Britney Spears, actually owned everything except the goatee. Real gangstas don't get $20,000 a month in child support.

4. Vanilla Ice

History's first truly awful rapper—like Richard Nixon, he sullied an entire occupation with unprecedented terribleness. Unlike Nixon, he won't go away: He made a metal album, went on reality shows, and re-recorded "Ice Ice Baby" along with nine other "hip-hop classics." You should hear what he does to Public Enemy.

3. Chet Haze

Tom Hanks's son Chester—a Dollar Tree version of Justin Timberlake—hit the rap game in 2010 with a series of YouTube videos. In one, he raps about Glocks and bling, threatens to stab you with a ski pole in yuh peep hole and warns, Step to me, get beat down like Rodney King, which is an odd way for a white guy to express solidarity with black culture.

2. Spencer Pratt

"I don't have to have talent," this talentless yet conceited reality-TV addict once said, celebrating his appalling rap bow, "I'm a Celebrity." Pratt's flow is sick—he rhymes like he has Parkinson's. He called himself "the white Jay-Z," possibly because they both have opposable thumbs, and notably bragged on "I'm a Celebrity" that MTV made me president rich. The next year, he reportedly filed for bankruptcy.

1. Insane Clown Posse

The KISS-style makeup these two self-anointed "wicked clowns" wear is a tip-off—they live to sell peripheral products, from DVDs to comic books to PPV wrestling cameos, to the tune of millions of dollars annually. Like most d-bags, they're predictable: Ample use of the words fuckpsycho, and fuck attracts a devoted fan-clan, and their annual festival has also included, yep, Vanilla Ice.

Video After The Jump

Written by Rob Markman @RobMarkman with reporting by Ade Mangum @HollywoodAde Via MTV

Mixtape Daily Main Pick

Artists: Troy Ave and DJ Holiday

Representing: Brooklyn

Mixtape: White Christmas

Real Spit: Troy Ave takes his hustle seriously and never takes days off, so on December 25 while most of us are off from work, the Brooklyn rap upstart will be delivering his latest tape White Christmas.

For the Yuletide-themed tape, Troy appropriately hooked up with DJ Holiday who screams his "Holiday Season" battle cry on tapes all year 'round for artists like Wiz Khalifa (Cabin Fever 2) and Gucci Mane Trap Back). "The reason why I named it White Christmas, it was originally supposed to be named Holiday Season and that just plays into the whole Troy Ave and DJ Holiday collab, but White Christmas just fit so well," Troy told Mixtape Daily alluding to his past in the streets where he's alleged to have peddled snow of a different kind.

White Christmas isn't all cocaine-laced however, on the Mac Miller-assisted "Chillin" Troy speaks of his summertime rendezvous. "Antisocial" is a goal-oriented, get-money ode where the rap rookie makes his aims very clear. "I ain't come here to socialize, I don't care if I know you guys/ One focus in between my eyes: get rich," he spits over the somber violin beat.

The DJ U-Neek-produced "Blanco" is a street-centered brag fest. "I Stevie Wonder 'bout n---as, three words for y'all/ Troy Ave that n*gga, sweet and simple I ball," he raps.

Still, in the end it's the drug-infused raps where Troy makes his killing. "It felt organic, it felt like I was doin' it an injustice by not calling it White Christmas seeing as how I am Harry Powder," he said.
