DETROIT (FOX 2) - Jonathan Welch, the Detroit man who was released on a low bond after being charged with several felonies including torture, has now been charged with a 4th murder that happened prior to his original arrest in June.

Welch was charged Thursday with the murder of Natayla Morse, 24, whose body was found in a field on June 4. Records did not say how Welch & Morse knew each other.

Prosecutors then say 36th District Court Magistrate Dawn White set Welch's bond at $100,000 / 10 percent cash surety.

After posting the $10,000 bond, Welch walked out of jail on Friday. By Sunday his ex-girlfriend Zlayiah Frazier was dead.

"They let him out of jail, he killed my sister, he killed my sister," said her sister Breonna. "They should’ve never let him out of prison."

Prosecutors say Welch barricaded himself in his mom's, shot at police & set the house on fire. He's also accused of killing Frazier, his step-dad Robert Bray Jr. & critically stabbing his mom.

Welch is now charged with 19 counts including 1st-degree murder. This time he has no bond.

ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Fla. (ClickOrlando) – An 85-year-old woman was attacked and killed Monday by a gator in a Florida retirement community.

St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office deputies & Florida Fish & Wildlife officials responded to the call about an alligator bite incident.

Neighbors said the woman, Gloria Serge, was walking her dog when she was dragged into the water by an alligator at the Spanish Lakes Fairways 55 & older community.

One resident, 77-year-old Carol, said it was just past 12 p.m. when it happened.

“I heard kind of like a commotion,” she said. “I looked out & I saw the dog & I saw…my neighbor.”

Carol first called 911 & ran, trying & hoping she could help.

“I just remember her coming up & pushing her hair out of her face & I’m saying, ‘Swim toward the paddle boat’ & she said, ‘I can’t, the gator has me.’

“I got my longest Shepherd’s hook to try to hook her or hit him or do something,” Carol continued. “Hit him on the nose or something. I couldn’t do anything, which haunts me right now.”

The victim was recovered & a contracted nuisance alligator trapper captured the 10-foot-long alligator involved in the incident.

Authorities said the victim’s dog survived & is in good condition. FWC said the woman was pulled into the water by the gator after it tried taking her dog.

Brett Favre is dragging Pat McAfee & Shannon Sharpe to court. Suing the ultra-popular sports analysts after he says they made comments about him that were false & defamatory.

Favre filed the lawsuits earlier this week in Mississippi -- naming state auditor Shad White as a defendant in 1 of the suits as well.

The Green Bay Packers legend claims in the suits all 3 defamed him when talking about his alleged role in a welfare funds scandal in Mississippi.

Favre said McAfee made some of the remarks on his podcast, alleging the former NFL punter said the ex-QB was "stealing from poor people in Mississippi."

The Hall of Famer claimed Sharpe muttered defamatory comments on his FS1 show -- when he said Sharpe called Favre a "sorry mofo to steal from the lowest of the low."

As for White, Favre says the Mississippi official has "shamelessly & falsely" attacked him for months "in a brazen attempt to leverage the media attention generated by Favre's celebrity to further his own political career."

White & his office were the ones who initially discovered the alleged misuse of welfare funds, claiming over $70 million intended to go toward the needy in Miss. actually went elsewhere -- including to Favre as well as projects closely associated with him.

Favre, though, has denied any wrongdoing in the case.

Favre is suing the trio for unspecified damages.

A spokesman for the State Auditor's office said Thursday in response to the suits that "everything Auditor White has said about this case is true & is backed by years of audit work by the professionals at the Office of the State Auditor."
