Funkmaster Flex continues to catch heat from friends of the late rap icon Tupac Shakur. Treach of Naughty By Nature recorded a diss song titled "Whoooh." Now, West Coast legend Spice 1 is taking shots at the radio personality from New York City's Hot 97, in a new Instagram video.
"Look, check this out, nigga. If I hear you say one more thing about my nigga ... nigga I'ma come out there," Spice says in the clip. "I'ma get on a motherfucking plane, Funkmaster Bitch. I'ma get on a motherfucking plane and I'ma come out there and I'ma go to [Hot 97]. And I'ma drag your bitch ass outta there, nigga. And I'ma stomp your fucking head in, you bitch ass nigga.
"Say something else. You ain't no gangster, nigga," he continues. "Shut the fuck up, nigga. Before somebody catch a plane out there and choke your faggot ass. Fake ass nigga. Say something else [and] I'll be on a plane, nigga."
All of this drama began because Flex claims 2Pac caused The Notorious B.I.G's murder, by allegedly falsely accusing the Brooklyn rapper of having prior knowledge that he would be robbed at Quad City studios in 1994.

Cassidy got into a debate with DJ Vlad about Nas being the worst beat picker, and the Philly rapper said that beats have nothing to do with a rapper being great. He then explained that it used to be the A&R guy's job to pick out the beats, and Cassidy pointed out that beats aren't more important than the bars.
Moving along, Cassidy addressed ghostwriting and said that with the lack of bars in today's hip-hop, the ghostwriter better be a good rapper.

Ja Rule has just been hit with a second lawsuit related to his Fyre Festival. The proposed "luxury weekend" was supposed to go down on a private island in the Bahamas in April, but quickly descended into chaos and had to be cancelled after one day.
Guests who paid anywhere from $1000 to $100,000 to attend were promised first class accommodations and performances by Lil Yachty, Migos, G.O.O.D. Music, Major Lazer and Blink 182.
When revelers started arriving on Thursday, April 27, they were greeted by "soggy tents, bad food and general disappointment verging on panic," according to the New York Times.

TMZ reports that Ja, born Jeffrey Atkins and business partner Billy McFarland are on the hook for a $3 million loan they took out 18 days prior to the festival.
EHL Funding claims the pair were supposed to make weekly payments, but stopped after forking over just under $900,000.
EHL says the two are now in default and is suing them for the money owed, plus interest.
As we previously reported, McFarland and Ja were hit with a lawsuit by a concert goer earlier this month, who believes the festival was a get-rich-scam.
