Adult film star August Ames has passed away at the age of 23. The Ventura County Medical Examiner's office confirmed her death to The Blast.
Law enforcement sources say Ames was found early Tuesday morning, December 5. She was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no signs of foul play. Toxicology tests are being performed to determine the cause of death.
Friends of Ames, born Mercedes Grabowski, said she suffered from long-term depression and may have taken her own life after she was harassed by Twitter users this week for refusing to work with a male performer, who had done gay porn.
“Choose who YOU want to work with. Don’t do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable. Share your thoughts. Hmm. Well, I did all three, and twitter took a dump on me," she wrote on the social networking site December 4. "Fuck you guys for attacking me when none of my intentions were malicious. I fucking love the gay community! What the fuck ever! I CHOOSE who I have inside my body. No hate."

Ames began her career in 2013. She was a two-time AVN Award winner who appeared in over 270 films.
"She was the kindest person I ever knew and she meant the world to me," said her husband, director Kevin Moore, told AVN. "Please leave this as a private family matter in this difficult time."

In the past we've seen everything from his 1996 Hummer H1 to original lyric sheets sold on the open market. Now come word that a photo of the late music icon's penis will be auctioned off.
TMZ reports that one of 'Pac's ex-girlfriends snapped the photo at a 1990 house party in Marin County.
Tupac would frequently whip out his male member as a way to shock friends. On this occasion his ex threatened to take a photo if he didn't cover it up. The rapper wasn't willing to and the now infamous pic was snapped.
The ex has teamed up with a Rock and Roll auction house, hoping someone is willing to pay $7500 for it. If her asking price isn't met the photo will go to the highest bidder.

Lud Foe is in trouble with the law following his arrest on Thursday, November 30.
The Herald News reports that police responded to a home in Plainfield, Illinois after the mother of Foe's pregnant girlfriend hit a panic alarm. She and her daughter were allegedly being attacked at the time by the 21-year old Chicago rapper, born Willie J. Akins Jr.
The girlfriend told police she and Foe got into an argument that turned violent. She says he hit her in the face, slapped her and pushed her off their bed.
When her mother tried to intervene she was also slapped and pushed.
Foe reportedly pulled the phone chord out of the wall when his girlfriend tried to call the police. At that point her mother hit the panic alarm.
Police took Foe into custody. He's been charged with aggravated domestic battery, interfering with the report of domestic violence and domestic battery.
