Report via Syracuse.com -- UTICA, NY - Brandon Andrew Clark was arraigned today in court on a charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death of 17-year-old Bianca Devins.
Clark, 21, of Cicero, who police say posted bloody photos of Devins after he killed her and then tried to kill himself, pleaded not guilty, according to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office. He is represented by Luke Nebush of the Oneida County Public Defender’s office.
Clark was indicted on the charge last Tuesday, which carries a sentence of 25 years to life in prison.
Clark is accused of slitting the throat of Bianca Devins, killing her July 14 in Utica. He then cut his throat in front of police officers and took a selfie, police have said. Clark posted photos of Devins’s bloody body and himself online, kicking off a firestorm of online posts, comments and international coverage.
Utica police said they responded to Poe Street after Clark called 911 and made “incriminating statements” and implied he was going to harm himself. As police arrived, Clark stabbed himself in the neck. He then lay down across a green tarp near a black SUV, police said.
Clark and Devins had been dating for two to three months, police said the Devins’ family told investigators. They met on Instagram, police said, and initially communicated online.
His next court appearance is slated for Sept. 23.
Family and friends supporting Devins packed the courtroom today wearing pins that read “Justice for Bianca,” according to WKTV in Utica.

Report via TMZ -- The man who knocked out Future's bodyguard with a vicious sucker punch in Spain will seemingly get off scot-free ... because nobody's pressing charges.
TMZ's learned there is no investigation into the brutal assault of the rapper's bodyguard, despite the fact the Civil Guard of Spain is aware of the video of the attack.
The country's law enforcement agency tells us the reason there's no active investigation is nobody has come forward to press charges -- not the bodyguard or anyone else on his behalf. Without that, the Civil Guard won't pursue the alleged assailants.
A rep for the agency says even if an assault includes a deadly weapon -- in this case a rock -- someone needs to come forward and officially file a report to press charges in order for an investigation to be launched. It doesn't necessarily have to be the victim ... but someone has to press the issue.
The only exceptions, we're told, are if the violence occurs against a minor or a woman ... or if it results in a death. In Future's bodyguard's case ... none of this applied.
Sources close to the bodyguard tell us he has no intention of pressing charges or taking any sort of action regarding the incident, so, as of now ... there will be no consequences for the attackers.
As we reported ... the altercation took place after Future was allegedly harassed by a group of around 10 guys upon landing at the Ibiza Airport. The rapper says the "fake goons" asked for an autograph and he rejected them ... so they got angry and did some "sucker shit."
The men also allegedly hurled racial slurs at Future, but we're told his crew whisked him away ... because they didn't want him to end up like A$AP Rocky in a foreign jail.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A doorbell surveillance video captured the moment four armed robbers beat and stole from a man in the front yard of his Fayetteville home.
Fayetteville police said the armed robbery was over drugs.
“Hurry up,” one of the suspects can be heard saying as the foursome comes up to the house on Dalton Road.
“Open this door. Hurry up. Come up closer.”
“I’ll go get everything.”
The group had already stolen money that the victim had on him. When they got inside the home, his girlfriend and child were inside. Police believe they were after narcotics that were also inside.
“It doesn’t appear that this case is random at all. It appears the victim may have known the suspects,” said Officer Jeremy Strickland with the Fayetteville Police Department.
Police have not been able to identify any of the four suspects.

Report via MMA Junkie -- Frankie Edgar is a legend of the sport, a man who deserves to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame the moment he announces his retirement.
But Max Holloway is well on his way to becoming a legend, too, and added another big name to his already impressive resume at UFC 240.
The 37-year-old Edgar was tenacious, but Holloway (21-4 MMA, 17-4 UFC) was a bit faster, landed a bit harder, and earned a convincing victory in Saturday night’s main event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The judges’ scores were 50-45, 49-46 and 48-47 for a unanimous decision. With the victory, Holloway extended his UFC record featherweight win streak to 14.
“Everybody said I wasn’t going to be as good a wrestler as this guy, everyone said I couldn’t keep the pace, I wanted to prove a point and go five rounds with him,” Holloway said after the fight.
The opening round was close, as the competitors cast about looking to find their range. Edgar (23-7-1 MMA, 17-7-1 UFC) was more active with his volume, but Holloway landed the heavier shots, particularly a pair of big uppercuts which landed flush.

The pace stayed the same in the second, but Holloway got noticeably more comfortable, as he parried Edgar’s attempts to take him to the mat and often countered on the break. The champion punctuated his performance in the round by using a quick combo to mask a spinning back kick which landed in the closing seconds.
The third round was all Holloway minus an Edgar double-leg takedown late, which was his first takedown on seven attempts in the bout. Holloway scampered back to his feet and resumed control as the round ended.
In the championship rounds, Edgar valiantly pressed on, but while he chased Holloway, he never quite caught him, finishing 1-for-15 in takedown attempts. Holloway’s relentless jab opened a cut on Edgar’s nose as the champ got the job done.
“I expected everything he brought, man,” Edgar said. “Max is the best, he represents the sport great.”
The victory was Holloway’s ninth career decision win, as he rebounded from a loss to Dustin Poirier at lightweight in his last fight. Edgar has dropped two of his past three.
The featherweight title bout served as the UFC 240 main event at Rogers Place.
