Quinton "Rampage" Jackson recently left the UFC recently and signed a deal with Bellator. His first fight under his new contract looks like it will be a memorable one.
MMA Junkie is reporting that Bellator is expected to announce a boxing match between Jackson and Roy Jones Jr.
"We've been talking to Roy and his people over a potential 'Rampage' vs. Roy fight for over seven months," a representative from Jackson's longtime team, Wolfslair MMA, told MMAjunkie.com.
Jackson is 32-11 (14 KO's) in his mixed martial arts career. He's never fought in a professional boxing match.
Jones is 56-8 (40 KOs) in his boxing career. He was once considered the pound-for-pound best boxer in the world, but over the last several years he's suffered a few losses, including some devastating knockouts.
Despite Jones' diminished skills the fight is expected to be a big draw given the fact that both fighters are very well known in their respective sports.
An exact date hasn't been announced, but the bout is expected to be held on the same date as the UFC's year end event.

Today VH1 gives us the first look 'CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.' The movie will detail the meteoric rise to fame of Chili, T-Boz and Lisa "Left" Lopes.
The story of Legendary hip hop/r&b/pop trio TLC. The group rose to fame in 1991 when they signed to LaFace Records, releasing their multi-platinum debut. Their 1994 follow-up, CrazySexyCool sold over 22 million copies, and Fanmail sold over 10 million copies in 1999. This group experienced bankruptcy, illness, group fights, and death. All the way dominating the charts and the music industry.
Lil Mama was cast as Lisa, Drew Sidora will portray T-Boz and Keke Palmer will assume the role of Chili.
Lil Mama talked to HipHollywood about the the film.
"It was a great experience," Lil Mama said. "It was a challenge for me. Of course, her not being here. Having both Chili and T-Boz give encouragement and pretty much explain their mannerisms to both Keke and Drew. But also giving me a little bit of input on Left Eye as well. But to have the person there, hands on is a little different. If it was a question that I had, I had to go to a video, or watch something just to pick it up first hand. Everything else the girls helped me with."
CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story will air on VH1 in October.

Birdman was one of the guests on MTV's RapFix Live on Wednesday, July 25. He addressed a couple of questions fans have been wondering about.
1. Why is Chris Brown on the Rich Gang compilation album, but not Drake?
Drake was recording out of the country. And I got songs because we're doing a Big Tymers album. So I said we're gonna hold that. We're gonna do our Big Tymers thing. I think it will be more special. We'll drop a Big Tymers record in September/October.
2. Why isn't Mannie Fresh, an original Big Tymers member, not going to be involved in the Big Tymers project along with Drake and Lil Wayne?
I've been talking to Fresh a lot. We talk every other day, we been talking about doing music; so matter of fact we gonna get in. Me and Fresh ain't got no problem, we never had no problem. It's been a minute and we plan on working again. Juve out here too. Ain't nobody tripping, we're gonna definitely work again. I was been tryin' to do that, he didn't wanna do it. I thought personally he didn't want no part of it because it been dead. We been lettin' it live in the grave, ain't nobody picked it up. It was Wayne's decision to say let's rock with this Big Tymers, besides that it's been in the grave, nobody touched it. He didn't touch it...we didn't touch it, because I wanted to do it years ago. But when I spoke to him, he felt different.

Kanye West will not be prosecuted for his attack on a paparazzo last week at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
According to TMZ, the LAPD are investigating the pap's claim that Kanye tried to steal his camera, but the District Attorney won't prosecute the rapper because there's no proof to support the claim.
Cops will forward the case to the D.A. within the next few days, where it is expected to be rejected.
The charge could be downgraded from felony attempted robbery to misdemeanor criminal battery when it's referred to the L.A. City Attorney, however Kanye is expected to make the case go away completely by paying the pap a nice financial settlement called a civil compromise, which is 100% legal.
Money can buy you just about anything.

Over the course of the last few days Meek Mill has been sending subliminal shots at Gillie Da Kid via Twitter over who is really the "King of Philly." How and why this beef started is not exactly clear, but it's obvious Meek feels like he now has the crown.
"Old bitter n*ggas b talking bcuz they had it and fumbled...... It's no competition," Meek wrote. "You got a Lil bullsh*t jewelry wit no real car.......no real house... Niggas b laying under sports players tryna keep they image up.... I can believe some of these dudes from home still b talking when y'all don't want it on no tip..... 360 is back with some new visuals for his song "Hustlemania." The Queens, New York emcee spits some nice lyrics over this Nikkleplate-produced track. You can find it on 360's latest mixtape, Beginning of Forever.
When it was first announced that Andre 3000 would be playing the role of rock and roll icon Jimi Hendrix, many people weren't sure what to expect. One thing is for sure, the Outkast member certainly got the look down down pat.
Several photos leaked off of the set last year, but Spin has the first official pic (above).
The biopic will tell the story of Jimi's early years in the business before he found worldwide fame. It will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
