A jury of six women found Kevin Gates guilty of battery Wednesday, October 26, in a Polk County, Florida courtroom.
He was sentenced to 180 days in the Polk County Jail, with credit for any time served, and fines and court costs, according to WFLA.
Gates, born Marcellus Kevin Gates, got upset when 18-year-old fan Miranda Dixon grabbed his pants during an August 2015 concert at Rumor’s Nite Club in Lakeland, Florida. The rapper responded by kicking Dixon in the chest hard enough for her to be admitted to the hospital, where she had to undergo a CT scan.

“She told me that she was excited to see him and next thing she knows she was kicked in the chest and she was passed out,” Dixon's mother Kristy Irelan told WFLA.
During a previous hearing Gates and his attorney, Jose Baez, admitted the rapper kicked Dixon, but attempted to have the charges dropped using the Stand Your Ground defense.
That argument fell on deaf ears. The jury found him guilty after deliberating less than two hours.

As most of you know by now a phone conversation between The Game and Beanie Sigel regarding the Meek Mill beef recently leaked.
Some people assumed the Black Wall Street camp recorded the call, but Game's manager, Wack 100, cleared the air via Instagram Wednesday, October 26, placing the blame directly on Beanie's shoulders.
"For the record lets be clear. We don't do police shit over here," Wack wrote. "Beanie Sigel is the one that recorded the conversation. Blood is guilty of that he did that on his call. So you weird ass niggas that keep insinuating it was us eat a dick. Tag Beans to this like you tagging me to the bullshit - Blood know."

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and wife Ciara have confirmed rumors that they are expecting a new bundle of joy.
"On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I'm excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give," Ciara captioned an Instagram photo of herself and Wilson on Wednesday, October 25.
Wilson posted the same photo on his IG account with a caption that read: "The Greatest Blessing of All. Forever Grateful. #BabyWilsonOnTheWay."
The couple were married on July 6, 2016 at Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England. It’s the first child for Wilson and the second for the singer.

Trick Daddy says whatever he wants to, whenever he wants to, but it's highly likely he offended a large portion of his female African American fan base Tuesday, October 25, following his Instagram PSA.
The veteran Miami rapper praised the virtues of white and Spanish women and told black women that they are losing ground to them.
"These Spanish and these white hoes, they done started getting finer than a motherfucker,” the 43-year old "Shut Up" rapper says in the video. “Y’all black hoes better tighten up. I’m telling you, tighten up. Y’all doing all that extra shit for nothing. You not achieving nothing, bitch. 21 Savage is best known for his gritty street tales, as heard on beloved cult mixtapes like last year's The Slaughter Tape and Slaughter King. In recent months, he's also become known for his meme-status dagger tattoo, inked on his forehead in memory of a fallen friend. But on "Feel It," the slow-burning, love-and-loyalty anthem taken from Savage Mode, this summer's collaborative project with Metro Boomin, 21 Savage is another man entirely. I'm a savage to these niggas but to her I'm gentle, he raps over a sedate beat, co-produced by Metro and Zaytoven. "I wrote something that street niggas can relate to. At the end of the day we all wanna go home to someone loyal," he told The FADER.
Today, 21 Savage & Metro Boomin are sharing a romantic video for the song, produced by The FADER and shot between East Atlanta's Zone 6 and on the city's south side. In the clip, it's love at first sight for the young rapper, who goes about winning a beautiful woman's affections after glimpsing her with another man. Soon, the pair is cuddling and cupcaking, as his love interest, played by Kat Amour, joins him on his usual endeavors of counting stacks of cash in bed and cruising through the city.
Watch the video above. And if you're in New York, check out Metro Boomin and 21 Savage live on November 4 at a special concert called Young Metro Don’t Trust Trump. All proceeds from the show will go towards a scholarship fund established by Metro to send a St. Louis student to Morehouse College every year.
