Lee "Q" O'Denat, the founder of the popular website WorldStarHipHip has died at the age of 43.
TMZ reports that O'Denat passed away in his sleep Monday, January 23. The immediate cause of death is unknown, although a source told the website they believed it was from a heart attack. An autopsy has been scheduled for later today.
WSHH was founded in 2005. It quickly caught on and became known for posting street oriented content ranging from fights to music videos. According to Alexa, the site averages over 1.1 million unique visitors a day. It ranks 553rd in the United States in site traffic and in the top 1900 worldwide.
Our condolences go out to O'Denat's family and friends.

Most of you know Omari Hardwick from his role as James "Ghost" St. Patrick on the television series "Power." However, he's also a talented poet, who released a spoken word album in 2002 titled "Return of the Poet."
Fifteen years later Omari is set to return with "Later Decatur." An album that boasts features from Goapele, 50 Cent, Melanie Fiona, Rotimi, Method Man, Tank and Josiah Bell.
Robert Glasper will executive produce the project.
"I'm really authentic, particularly as an artist," Hardwick explained during a recent Sway in the Morning interview. "I only know how to be one way, which is very true and very real to what Omari feels. If that's accompanied with a little bit of talent ... then, for the most part I didn't feel that it wouldn't be embraced."

It's time for Soulja Boy's lawyers to get to work because he's got serious legal trouble in California.
TMZ reports that the 26-year old rapper, real name DeAndre Way, has been charged with 2 felonies by the Los Angeles District Attorney, in connection with the December 15, 2016 arrest at his Hollywood Hills, California home, where police found 2 firearms.
Big Soulja faces one charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm and another for possession of an assault weapon, a Mini Draco AK-47 and a .45-caliber Glock 21.
The "Crank That" hit maker was also hit with a misdemeanor charge for receiving stolen property because the Glock had previously been stolen from a police cruiser.
This latest run-in with the law violated Soulja's probation, stemming a 2014 case when he was busted for having a Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver under the bucket seat of the Panamera he was driving.
As we previously reported, police received a Crime Stoppers tip that Soulja had been making threats to people online with guns, which led to his December arrest.
He pleaded not guilty Monday, January 23, in Los Angeles County Superior Court. The SODMG boss faces more than 4 years in prison if convicted.

TIDAL and Sprint are now in business together.
The two companies announced via a press release on Monday, January 23, that Sprint had acquired a 33% stake in Jay Z's music streaming service.
As part of the deal, the telecommunications giant will reward it's 45 million post and prepaid customers with access to TIDAL's exclusive content. Sprint plans to also capitalize on the business arrangement by using it to lure new customers.

In addition, Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure, will join TIDAL's Board of Directors.
“Sprint shares our view of revolutionizing the creative industry to allow artists to connect directly with their fans and reach their fullest, shared potential,” JAY Z said in a statement. “Marcelo understood our goal right away and together we are excited to bring Sprint’s 45 million customers an unmatched entertainment experience.”
Financial particulars were not revealed in the press release, but Music Business Worldwide reports that it's sources revealed that the sale cost Sprint around $200 million. TIDAL is valued at $600 million overall
“Jay saw not only a business need, but a cultural one, and put his heart and grit into building TIDAL into a world-class music streaming platform that is unrivaled in quality and content,” said Claure. “The passion and dedication that these artist-owners bring to fans will enable Sprint to offer new and existing customers access to exclusive content and entertainment experiences in a way no other service can.”
