It may have taken longer than some expected, but in the end if J. Cole's new album is quality work that's all people will remember.

The 26-year old Roc Nation signee spoke with Ms Drama TV at the BET Awards nominations press conference earlier this week and assured her the album is wrapped and the new single should be dropping within days.

"I always had the material for the album - the only problem was picking the single," Cole said. "I think we knew that there was so much on the line and the potential that I had - we were kind of hesitant."

The news is great for Cole's fans who have been patiently waiting for his album. The rapper says he's gearing up to do promo work for the single and album.

"We finally married a single and we picked it, so that's next week. There's no more holdup," Cole assured. "As of next week, you'll see me on full-fledged promo mode."

A man who won a $2 million dollar lottery jackpot is still collecting food stamps and he could care less what anybody thinks about it.

Leroy Fick of Bay County, Michigan won the "Make Me Rich" lottery last June. After taxes he took home about $850,000. The state wants him off food stamps, but the Department of Human Services says "lump sum" payments are assets, not income - leaving Fick eligible to still receive help from the government.

"If the state has got a problem with their laws they should fix them," Fick said defiantly. "If I'm eligible, I'm eligible right?"

Fick's attorney John Wilson says his client bought a used Audi and a house with part of the money and invested the rest. According to eligibility rules qualifies for state assistance of "far less than $5,000 for the year."

Gisgie Davila Gendreau, a state human services department spokeswoman said "we are actively seeking a change to the food assistance policy, which is a federal policy, to ensure that those who are truly needy qualify,"

Democratic state representative Charles Brunner thinks the state needs to change their bridge card laws right away.

"It outrages me that a guy that drives a brand new Audi -- has a million dollars in the bank essentially, can still qualify for food stamps -- that's wrong," Brunner told WEYI.

For his part Fick isn't at all worried, and aside from unwanted media attention he's ok with continuing to leach off the state.

"If you're going to ... try to make me feel bad, you aren't going to do it," Fick told WNEM.

Lindsay Lohan's legal troubles are the least of her worries these days. The actress claims she is being stalked by a freemason who has threatened to kill her.

"This is the freemason stalker that has been threatening to kill me - while he is TRESPASSING! im actually scared now- the blood in the 'cults' book was too much," Lohan tweeted Monday, including a pic of her stalker. "All my fans, my supporters, please stand by me. g-d bless xxL."

The picture was reportedly taken by her surveillance system at her Venice, California home.

TMZ reports that the man has been stalking Lohan for over 4 years now. Often passing by her crib, leaving creepy gifts and texts messages. The actress is reportedly terrified something bad will happen.

50 Cent continues to build an impressive acting resume'.

The rapper/actor has just signed on to star in 'Odd Thomas' - a film based on a Dean Koontz novel.

According to Variety, 50 will play the role of a blind deejay named Shamus Cocobolo.

Other cast members include Anton Yelchin, Addison Timlin, Willem Dafoe, Patton Oswalt, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Nico Tortorella.

The film will center around Yelchin's character, Odd Thomas. A 20-year old short order cook who can communicate with dead people. 50's character will help him uncover a satanic plot.

Filming is set to begin in New Mexico soon.

Nicole Scherzinger and 50 Cent are set appear an American Idol tomorrow night (May 19).

The duo will perform "Right There", the lead single off of Nicole's upcoming album 'Killer Love.'

Idol averages about 23 million viewers per episode. That total might even increase tomorrow night as one contestant will be voted off of the live results show - leaving only 2 remaining.

An overzealous fan caught a right hook to the dome courtesy of rapper Sean Price.

Price was performing in Chile when the fan somehow got on stage and bumped into the rapper while he was ironically performing "Slap Boxing." Price then catches the fan with a right hook before security shoves him back into the crowd.

Newt Gingrich's run for the White House in 2012 is off to a rocky start.

The Republican from Georgia bombed in his appearance on 'Meet The Press' Sunday when he criticized fellow Republican Paul Ryan's Medicare-cutting budget plan as "right-wing social engineering."

Gingrich later apologized for the comments, only to have an Iowa voter chastise him on camera for being "an embarrassment to the party." Suggesting he get out of the presidential race before he made a "bigger fool" of himself.

To top things off - a gay protester crashed Gingrich's book signing on Tuesday in Minneapolis by dumping a box full of glitter on him.

"Feel the rainbow, Newt. Stop the hate. Stop anti-gay politics. It's dividing our country and it's not fixing our economy," the protester said before being escorted away by security.

Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is in all kinds of trouble with his wife Maria Shriver after he admitted fathering a child with their maid over a decade ago.

Schwarzenegger was forced to admit the affair after the mother of his love child, 50-year old Mildred "Patty" Baena threatened to go public with the story.

Schwarzenegger fired Baena, who had worked for the family for 20 years -- then admitted the affair to his wife of 25 years. Upon learning of the deception Shriver immediately seperated from her husband.

"After leaving the governor's office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago," Schwarzenegger said. "I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologized to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry."

According to various reports, Baena was pregnant with the now 14-year old boy at the same time Shriver was pregnant with her 13-year old son Christopher.

Shriver released a statement saying she is devastated.

"This is a painful and heartbreaking time. As a mother my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment," she said.

The man who just last year was identified as a federal informant, is now being sought for his role in a cocaine distribution ring.

Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond was indicted last week by a federal court, but so far authorities haven't been able to track him down.

In September of 2010 Rosemond, who had been a very vocal proponent of the "stop snitching" campaign was outed by the New York Daily News as a being a snitch himself. According to their report the CEO of Czar Entertainment has given information at least three times to state and federal law enforcement officials since the mid-1990s.

Among the artists who might be in the market for new management soon if Rosemond is convicted are Brandy, Akon, Sean Kingston and others.

Rosemond's attorney, Jeffrey Lichtman acknowledged today that there is a warrant out for his client, but alleges to not have seen it yet.

"I don't dispute the fact that there is an arrest warrant, but I haven't seen it," he told MTV. "I suppose they're looking for him now, and when they find him, the case will start."

It's got to be a humiliating experience to find out your spouse is having an affair. Probably would feel even worse if you found out the affair happened with a student at a schol where she taught. And no words could describe how upset you would probably if you found out your skank wife was banging all the male students she could get her hands on.

Police in Arlington, Texas say 27-year old Brittni Colleps, a mother of three, who is married to a U.S. serviceman based in Louisiana - had sexy with five of her male students at the same time on several occasions. Although all five of the students were 18-years of age, Texas law prohibits teachers from having sex with students, no matter their age.

One student described how he started having a one on one sexual affair with Colleps. One day he got a text inviting him over to her house. When he got there, there were four other students already there ready to blow Colleps back out at the same time.

Colleps reportedly regularly engaged is "sex parties" with the students.

It's not clear how the police became involved, but after they interviewed the students, all of their stories matched. The first-year teacher of English and girls' freshman basketball at Kennedale High School was charged with five felony counts of inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student.

She posted $125,000 bond Monday and was released.

As Inglewood, California police continue to piece together the events that led to the death of Cali Swag District member M-Bone, his girlfriend has come forth with what could be a substantial lead.

The girlfriend -- who wishes to remain anonymous out of fear for her life, told TMZ that a man living in their apartment complex had become insanely jealous of her 22-year old boyfriend's success.

According to the girlfriend -- M-Bone, born Monte Talbert, and the man had several run ins in the past, and were embroiled in a Twitter beef. The man allegedly threatened to physically harm M-Bone.

On the night he was killed M-Bone was outside an Inglewood liquor store when a car approached. Someone from inside the vehicle fired shots -- two hit M-Bone in the head. The murderer drove off, then doubled back before leaving the scene.

So far no arrests have been made in the case.
