Drake is weighing in on Lil Wayne's Jay-Z diss on "It's Good." A track that features Drizzy and Jadakiss.
'Kiss had previously made it clear he had no knowledge of the diss before recording his verse, Drake is now doing the same.
"I just got a beat and did a verse over it," Drake told MTV News. "Whatever any other individual has to say, you have to ask the man himself. I just did what I know how to do. I just got on a record. I heard the beat, did a verse and heard the final product."
Jay-Z business partner Steve Stoute says there probably won't be a response from Hov.
"For Jay-Z to do ANYTHING that resembles moving backwards right now would be insane. And a Jay-Z beef is moving backwards," Stoute is quoted as saying while out promoting his new book Tanning Of America. "Jay is SO MUCH bigger than rap at this point. He’s a movement. And THAT’S where his head is at. That’s where his focus is. And NO ONE is on his level, even worthy of him battling with. No one. So you probably won’t see that happen."

Hot 97 radio personality Miss Info is in Hollywood covering tonight's VMAs. While there she got a chance to interview Wiz Khalifa about his Best New Artist nomination.
The two chopped it up about the fact that Wiz is technically not a new artist. He's been in the game for years yet he finds himself competing for an award against someone like Kreayshawn who has never released an album.
Peep the Q and A below.
Miss Info: Best New Artist? Were they living in a cave?
Wiz: Nah man, like everybody seems surprised like 'man you aint no new artist.' But I'm new to a lot of people... I'm newly accepted.
MI: What do you think the definition is of a new artist is? Because you're nominated and you've been around for quite some time, and you had albums and you had hits. And then you have somebody like Kreayshawn who has 1 hit [and] no albums.
Wiz: Well shout out to Kreayshawn and everything she's doing. I think what everybody is doing now is trying not to miss out on those kids who are coming up, right when they are coming up. Whereas with me they kinda looked over me for like 6 years. So now they're coming back like 'oh he's the guy we looked over. He's still fairly new because we're accepting him now. But we're also going to accept these other people right away with him.' And it's all love, it would have been cool to get a look like that early in my career.
MI: So basically you're saying you'll take it either way because you would rather that, then them have a hard fast rule that means you don't qualify right?
Wiz: Yeah, I mean at then end of the day I'm being recognized for doing what I've been doing and sticking to what I know. And whether it's best new artist, or best old artist, or best young artist... I'll take it.
MI: Or best artist that we just decided that we really like.
Wiz: Yeah they should have just gave me an award "dude who slept on."
Tune into MTV tonight at 9/8C to see if Wiz fairs in the Best New Artist category against Big Sean, Tyler, The Creator, Kreayshawn, and Foster The People.

Let's face it, freestyles using the Kanye West and Jay-Z track "Otis" have reached the overkill stage, but rappers are still having a go at it.
The latest mc to tackle the beat is Young "JoJo" Simmons, the son of Rev Run of Run DMC.
While his younger brother Diggy has been getting a lot of shine recently, JoJo is still trying to find his lane.
How do you think he's progressing as a rapper?
An already stacked line up of performers for tonight's MTV Video Music Awards just added more muscle.
Eonline is confirming that Jay-Z and Kanye West will take the stage and presumably perform a song off of their new 'Watch The Throne' album.
Other performances on the night will come from Lady Gaga, Adele, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Brino Mars, Beyonce and more.
The show kicks off tonight at 9/8C on MTV.
Soulja Boy is thinking about going to college. At least that what the rapper tweeted yesterday.
At 21-years old, worth an estimated $25 million, and already having achieved worldwide fame, Soulja would seem to have it all. But the SODMG boss is thinking about possibly adding a degree to his resume'.
"I want the experience of college but some people say i'll be hustling backwards because I already made it financially. but know people personally who I won't mention (I have my reasons) who went to college 4 years got their degree and today are flat broke," Soulja wrote. "Is it a good investment? I really need to speak to those people who have experienced college and can speak from real situations. So I guess it all boils down to this.. money or education? you go to school to get a job right? or do yo go to school to get knowledge?"
Do you think it would be a good idea for Soulja to go to college?

By now everyone has heard Lil Wayne's shot at Jay-Z on "It's Good."
Various fans and critics are weighing in with their take on this diss record, which was a response to a Jay-Z diss on "H.A.M."
One of those critics is the always talkative Charlamagne Tha God, of Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club.
Charlamagne awarded Lil Wayne with the Donkey of the Day Award for the way he came at Hov.
"Talk about baby money, I got your baby money/
Kidnap your b*tch get that how much you love your lady money/ I know you fake n*gga, press your brakes n*gga/ I'll take you out, that's a date n*gga," Wayne raps on the song.
"I bet ya'll think that line was hot -- that was trash, garbage," Charlamagne said in response to the verse. "I might have respected that line if he would have dropped it months ago when 'H.A.M.' first dropped, but to do it months later... five days before your album is being released is a sucker move. 'Tha Carter IV' has a so-so buzz, nothing like 'Tha Carter III' buzz and YMCMB knows this so they decided to stir up some water to see if they could catch some fish. That shot should have came with a promotional use only sticker," he continued. "Jay-Z hit 'em with a factual line. He told those cats they don't have his lady money. That's a fact, they don't have money like Beyonce. Wayne responds by talking about kidnapping his lady and holding her for ransom? Come on Wayne, you could have come up with a line way wittier, talk that big boy talk.... act like you're a boss. Challenge the champ to a battle for real if you feel you're built like that. But coming with this fictional 'I'll kidnap your lady and hold her ransom.' You're not doing none of that Lil Wayne. And 5 days before your album drops, you should be beyond publicity stunts at this point in your career. MC Wayne, Gusto's album 'CB4' will be in stores Monday."
Well damn!
