Raymond Harris is a career criminal who has been in and out of prison for most of his adult life. The 36-year old thug saved his most brutal crime for last.
Chicago police say Harris beat and robbed 73-year old Virginia Perillo last month in the garage of her home, leaving her bleeding and brain dead. Harris then took two wedding rings stolen from Perillo and proposed to his girlfriend.
Perillo died from injuries suffered in the beating, but police were able to tie Harris to the crime because he left his watch behind. His DNA was matched using the police department's criminal database.
Harris was just released from prison in May 2011 after serving 13 years of a 30-year sentence for attempted murder and aggravated arson. While committing that 1997 crime prosecutors say he broke into the home of a woman, beating and raping her repeatedly over several hours. He then slit the victim's throat, knocked her unconscious and set her house on fire. The woman suffered third-degree burns but survived. Harris had only been out of jail for a few weeks on an armed robbery conviction when he committed that crime.
He was arrested Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery in Perillo's death.
“It has been a stressful and busy time for us knowing that the person that murdered my mom was still out there," Perillo's family said in a statement via NBC Chicago. "We’re just relieved knowing that there is one less criminal on the street. We can begin the healing process and put some closure to this and hopefully find the answers as to why.”
Harris is due back in court November 29 for a status hearing.

Hynaken of True Stories Radio caught up with the trillest in the game, Bun B, during his recent visit to Brooklyn, New York.
Hynaken mentioned that he once had an interview with Slaughterhouse where they said if they were to ever include a down south artist it would be Bun B. Bun was more than open to the idea.
"I f*ck with Slautherhouse," Bun said. "Joe, Joell, Royce, Crooked are some of the greatest lyricists in the game right now. Having all them four cats together with Em and Yela. They got a mean line up over there at Shady Records. I respect them dudes... I respect their grind, and I respect their hustle, and I respect their talent. If I could get down with a league of gentlemen like that I wouldn't be mad at all."
Bun also spoke on the current Penn State child sex abuse scandal.
"We gotta protect kids at all costs," said Bun. "I'mma be real. Penn State got a big game against Nebraska this weekend, but who give a f*ck man. They over there letting n*ggas touch kids. So at the end of the day I respect Joe Paterno and his legacy. I respect Penn State and everything that they have done. But what I don't and never could respect is n*ggas letting children be out there. They trusted this man (Jerry Sandusky). You can't f*ck up that trust. Kids can't protect themselves. A 10-year old kid can't fight a grown man if he tried to sexually abuse him."

Being a highly successful rapper and actor has it's perks. Everything from beautiful women, nice cribs, jewelry, etc are at your fingertips. Ludacris found another unique way to spend some of his hard earned money when he rented out the Atlanta Motor Speedway so he could take his Ferrari 458 Italia for a spin with no speed limits.
"If you don't drive that on a track, that's like buying an X-Box and only watching movies on it and not playing any damn games," Luda said. "That is a racing car. That's why we're out here today."
After his need for speed was satisfied Luda was more than happy.
"I just wanna say this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I can now cross this off my bucket list."

Ashton Kutcher has decided to bail from Twitter.
Kutcher has been catching heat for a Tweet he sent out in support of former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno. Paterno was fired Wednesday (November 9) for mishandling of a sex abuse scandal involving young boys and former assistant football coach, Jerry Sandusky.
Sandusky has been charged with 40 criminal counts, accusing him of serial sex abuse of minors according to the Huffington Post. Including one incident where a graduate assistant saw him molesting a 10-year old boy in the Penn State locker room. The graduate assistant immediately notifies Paterno, who does not report the incident.
The fallout from Sandusky's November 5th arrest for crimes that went on from 1996 through 2009, included the firing of Joe Paterno by the university.
Upon learning of Paterno's firing, Kutcher Tweeted, "How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste."
The reaction from his followers was swift. Fans upset that he could be so ill-informed on the situation started Tweeting and retweeing angry messages aimed at the "Two and a Half Men" star.
"Ashton Kutcher: Against child trafficking unless it involves college football."
"Ashton Kutcher and Rick Perry should just hold each other till the sun rises."
"The only good to come from the Penn State scandal: Ashton Kutcher has stopped tweeting. #PSU"
"This will not be a good 15-to-20 minutes to be Ashton Kutcher. Then back to normal, I'd assume."
Not long afterwards Kutcher deleted the original tweet and apologized to those he had offended.
"Had no idea, thought it was a football thing," he wrote. "Heard Joe was fired, fully recant previous tweet! Didn't have full story. #admitwhenyoumakemistakes. As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case. As of immediately I will stop tweeting until I find a way to properly manage this feed. I feel awful about this error. Won't happen again."
Kutcher then posted an even more lengthy apology and explanation on his blog and said he will no longer be handling his Twitter account. Instead, his management team will take care of that for him.
Meanwhile, thousands of Penn State fans rioted last night in State College, Pennsylvania to protest Paterno's firing.

V-Nasty's name is just starting to buzz in the industry and she's not trying to lose her spot. Her upcoming mixtape with Gucci Mane is one way to make people take notice of something other than her use of the n-word.
The 21-year old, born Vanessa Reece, says her vocabulary is a result of growing up in the mean streets of East Oakland, where she claims her use of the n-word is accepted amongst her group of friends. But in an interview with L.A. Weekly, V-Nasty says there's a big difference between saying "n*gga" and "n*gger"
She tells the publication that she has two children (the first when she was 15-years old) who are half black and would flip if someone called them a "n*gger."
"Now if I hear somebody say it with an '-er,' I'm gonna speak up! I don't take that sh*t lightly," she says. "I wish somebody would come up and call my daughter or my son the N-word in that way."
Although her White Girl Mob partner, Kreayshawn, is signed to Sony Records, V-Nasty doesn't have a deal yet. She's hoping the mixtape with Gucci will open a few more doors and help give her 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son opportunities she didn't have growing up.
"[I want them] to have whatever the f*ck they want, learn, have a career," she says before explaining she will never change who she is. "If you're not being yourself, who you gonna be? You can't be somebody else, can't act all the time. Nah, this is me."

"Me and Wayne got on the same jeans -- oooh something wrong." - Lil Kim "Warning" Remix
If you thought the Lil Kim/Nicki Minaj war of words was slowing down, think again. The Queen Bee unleashes an all out verbal assault on The Harajuku Barbie, Birdman and Lil Wayne in the just released "Warning" remix freestyle.
Among other things, Kim says Baby a trash rapper, questions Lil Wayne's sexuality and calls Nicki her clone.
The diss follows on the heels of accusations that Nicki bit Lil Kim's style in the video shoot for Willow Smith's new music video for "Fireball.".
According to BET.com the outfit Nicki wore is similar to one Kim adorned on the 2003 cover of Nylon magazine. Both rappers were outfits that are covered in stuffed animals. Check out the pic below and decide for yourself if Nicki is blatantly copying Kim's style.
