50 Cent recently went into detail with Vibe about his miscommunication with T.I. earlier this year. The two rap titans briefly butted heads due to comments Fif made regarding Tip's wife Tiny, and the possibility she should take the charge in their 2010 drug bust in L.A.
Tip responded in the December/January issue of Vibe, basically saying it was nobody's business how he handled affairs regarding his family.
50 shot back on Twitter:
“Man I just saw something T.I said in VIBE about a tweet I wrote when he caught his drug case. He just got out a jam and caught a new one. Any other time a n*gga done. Get caught with 10 machine gun an silencer then catch a drug charge. You will f*ck around and get natural life.”
It looked for a minute like 50 and T.I. might be headed towards a beef, but a mutual friend intervened and got them to talk things out over the phone like gentlemen.
In the clip below 50 speaks on the incident and how the media and fans play a role in stirring up controversies between artists.
"He had a lot of legitimate points," 50 said of his phone call with Tip. "Like, the press will ask you questions about things. They'll ask artists that are relevant to the culture things about other artists that are just going through something. Your response impacts harder than it would at any other point. Then you get the people who want the fight. They'll start to champion that like, 'go, go, go!' Then when they find out that it's not going to actually happen, and I'm the source of where they find that out at they go, 'ahh.' They try to make the fight again. They try to say, 'oh he's scared.' Like me, when you known me to back down?"

The cause of Heavy D's death has been revealed.
The L.A. County Coroner's Office said today that the rap pioneer died due to a pulmonary embolism – a blood clot in his lung caused by deep vein thrombosis according to TMZ.
Heavy, real name Dwight Arrington Meyers, had just traveled back from Europe after performing at a Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales. The long flight back may have played a part in the blood clot forming in his legs and eventually traveling to his lungs.
The coroner's office also said the 44-year old rapper suffered from heart disease.
Heavy died on November 9, 2011 after returning home from a shopping trip. He collapsed at his Beverly Hills home complaining of difficulty breathing. He was rushed to Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
His cause of death is listed as "natural."

Nelly drops a new video in support of his latest mixtape O.M.E.O. The St. Louis rapper gets assists from Atlanta MC's T.I. and 2 Chainz.
Drake has made no secret that he's a huge fan of late singer Aaliyah. He sampled her song
"At Your Best (You Are Love)," for the track "Unforgettable" that appears on his debut album Thank Me Later.
Last year the Toronto rapper penned a letter to the singer via Rap Radar expressing his love for her.
Dear Dana,
I’ve never lost a parent, a friend, or a lover but I will never forget this day for the rest of my life. I remember getting the news that you had passed and it connected with my heart like a clean shot from Muhammad Ali. I was crushed. Not only was I one of your biggest fans but I was truly in love with you. I loved the way you carried yourself, the way you dressed, the confidence with which you addressed passion and relationships in your music. I said to myself that even if we never met, I wanted a woman in my life just like you. I am pained that we will never get to connect now that music ended up being my career path. But you should know, we all listen to you everyday and we remain inspired and moved by all that you’ve given the world. I hope I make the right life choices so I can end up in heaven where I know you rest your head. I’ll continue to make music in your honor until the day we finally meet. Dinner’s on me!
Love you always and forever,
Drake
This year Drizzy has taken his affection for Aaliyah a step further by getting a tattoo of her face on his back. He released the picture Christmas Day, which shows him shirtless after playing tennis. The Aaliyah tat appears to have wings above it.
