50 Cent is getting fed up with the direction the hip hop industry is headed in. Fif took to Twitter to take shots at Rick Ross and new rappers who are unoriginal.
"Hip hop has been damaged by fake fraudulent artist who just say anything.now it seems like authenticity means nothing," 50 wrote on the social networking site. "The culture is so confused a gangsta is bobbing to a cop LMAO think about it. It's just the facts. I'm not impressed by some of the new artist it feels like nothings new stop following trends be your self. Rappers write cars, money, big house, big shot talk. The truth is they ain't got it man for real."
The G-Unit boss said that because of Chris Lighty's passing he is now managing himself and won't rush the release of Street King Immortal. He also issued a warning to any rapper that wants to step up and test him because the music on the album is just that good.
"Every artist that puts them selves in direct competition with me will suffer due to how well Street King Immortal is put together. Watch the fools who decide to question my talent. Find them selves over whelmed by this album"

Here is the official music video for "The Boys," Nicki Minaj's collaboration with Bad Boy singer Cassie. The song is the lead single off of Nicki's upcoming new album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up.
Mike Epps will portray late comedic genius Richard Pryor in an upcoming film about jazz legend Nina Simone. Epps got the blessing of Pryor's widow, Jennifer Pryor, when he personally reached out to her to ask for permission.
"That was very sweet and respectful that he called me first. I am happy that they picked him. He is a real good guy," Jennifer told TMZ.
Because of Mike's gesture, Jennifer is also considering him to portray her husband in an upcoming biopic.
Jennifer is producing the movie and says she believes Epps is one of the few actors capable of an "authentic portrayal" of Pryor.
One actor/comedian who Jennifer will never allow to portray her late husband is Eddie Murphy. Jennifer adds that Pryor would want "someone authentic like himself" in that role.
"Having Eddie Murphy play Richard Pryor would be like having Al Jolson play Malcolm X," she said. (Jolson is an early 20th century white actor known for his blackface performances.)
Ouch...
Do you think Mike Epps will be a good fit in the role of Richard Pryor?

There is bad singing and then there is this. Tone deaf, out of tune singer Gnesa makes me wish we could bring back American Idol's William Hung.
Listening to Gnesa sing is like slowing down to watch the results of a car wreck. You really don't want to. but can't pry your eyes/ears away, which would explain the almost 258,000 views the video has racked up since it was uploaded on October 7th.
Is Gnesa the worst singer ever? Check out her video for "Wilder" below and judge for yourself.

He was like let’s keep that sh*t on the low, I don’t want nobody to know and he kept doing his f*cking thing. He’s a true muthaf*ckin’ lyricist, a real muthaf*ckin’ MC and that’s what we need in muth*fuckin’ hip-hop.”
Kendrick later brought out T.I. who performed "Go Get It" and "What You Know."

Lil Wayne is now an author. The Young Money rapper has penned a new book titled Gone Till November. In it he provides intimate details about the eight months he spent in New York City's Rikers Island jail on a gun charge in 2010.
Selling out stadiums, topping album sales charts, and selling millions of albums have brought Lil Wayne, one of hip-hop's biggest acts, incredible highs. But these huge successes were accompanied by dark lows, resulting in a gun charge that landed him in Rikers Island Penitentiary for a year (of which he served 8 months). While there, he kept remarkably detailed journals of his thoughts, his feelings, the strange and colorful people he met, his plans, his family, his children, his past, present and future. GONE TILL NOVEMBER is a highly compelling internal monologue that is as relatable as it is unique to Wayne. It's an amazing narrative that will be a must-have for his legions of fans.
The book will be released on May 14, 2013 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

50 Cent was recently in Paris, France promoting his SMS Audio headphone line. While there he took time out sit down for an interview to speak on his Street King Immortal album, a song titled "My Life" that impressed Interscope, features on the project and the concept of the album.
"There's points on it where I'm more vulnerable than I was on my other projects," 50 said. "It's worked in the past with 'Hate It or Love It.' That type of lyrical content. I wrote the record that I felt like was more me."
The "I Get Money" hit maker explained that although the album is finished there is a possibility he may add a song or two as he continues to write new material.
"What is the album today may change. A song or two may change between now and the actual release. Because I always do that. I'll keep working and I'll come up with something like right before it's wrapped up and say I wanna put this."
50 confirmed that the album has been pushed back, but did not reveal a new release date. He also said there is a possibility that Dr. Dre will release Detox as an EP instead of a full album and that he's looking to add new artists to the G-Unit roster.
"The roster is definitely... I'll change things around a little bit. It'll be cool because we'll be able to go out on the road and tour. It'll be artist boot camp preparing them for what they will have to do when they go off on a tour following that."
