23-year old up and coming rapper Kee Riches was gunned down Saturday, September 24, in his hometown of Compton, California during a triple shooting.
Another man, identified as 29-year old Robert Leflore Jr., was also killed.
The shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. on the 1500 block of South Chester Avenue.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to the area regarding a report of a gunshot victim.
When they arrived on scene, they found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The two men were declared dead at the scene. An unidentified woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance and is currently listed in stable condition, the Sheriff’s Department said.
It’s unclear if the three people were involved in the shooting or were innocent bystanders.
There is currently no information regarding any suspects or suspect vehicles.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- An investigation is underway after a child drowned in a bathtub at a southwest Houston home Saturday night, according to police.
At about 10 p.m., Houston Police Department officers said they responded to a possible drowning call at the 15600 block of Corsair Road near Arthington Avenue.
Officers said when they arrived to the home a man was giving CPR to his 9-year-old grandson.
The child was transported to Texas Children's hospital, where he was pronounced dead, HPD said.
Authorities said the child's grandfather pulled the boy out of the bathtub when he found him unconscious.

Two years after Brett Favre allegedly collected millions in welfare money to fund a volleyball arena at Southern Mississippi, a former state official claims the NFL legend wanted more cash for a football facility, new court docs show.
Ex-Mississippi governor Phil Bryant's attorneys say text messages show Favre reached out to Bryant again in 2019 regarding financing a potential indoor practice facility at his alma mater ... this, after already allegedly taking around $5 million for the volleyball arena.
Despite being warned of the serious legal risks, Bryant's legal team claims Favre "continued to press for state funds" & wanted up to $2 million for projects, according to ESPN.
The docs state Favre told Bryant via text ... "We obviously need your help big time & time is working against us. And we feel that your name is the perfect choice for this facility & we are not taking No for an answer! You are a Southern Miss Alumni & folks need to know you are also a supporter of the University."
Bryant responded with caution, saying ... "We are going to get there. This was a great meeting. But we have to follow the law. I am to[o] old for Federal Prison."
Bryant also alleges he spoke with former Southern Miss prez Rodney Bennett, who claimed he "asked Brett not to do the things he's doing to seek funding from state agencies & the legislature."
Favre, who is listed as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by the state of Mississippi over misspent welfare money -- has previously said through his attorneys he did not know where the funding for the facility came from.
Former Mississippi Department of Human Services director John Davis pled guilty to conspiring to defraud the State of Mississippi out of more than $70 million in federal funds on Thursday.

MOSCOW (AP) — A gunman opened fire in a school in central Russia on Monday, killing 15 people & wounding 24 others before shooting himself dead.
The shooting took place in School No. 88 in Izhevsk, a city east of Moscow in the Udmurtia region.
Russia’s Investigative Committee identified the gunman as 34-year-old Artyom Kazantsev, a graduate of the same school & said he was wearing a black t-shirt bearing “Nazi symbols.” No details about his motives have been released.
The Committee said 15 people, including 11 children, were killed in the shooting & 24 other people, including 22 children, were wounded.
The governor of Udmurtia, Alexander Brechalov, said the gunman, who he said was registered as a patient at a psychiatric facility, killed himself after the attack.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the shooting as “a terrorist act” & said Russian President Vladimir Putin has given all the necessary orders to the relevant authorities.
“President Putin deeply mourns deaths of people & children in the school, where a terrorist act took place,” Peskov told reporters Monday.
The school educates children between grades one & 11. It has been evacuated & the area around it has been cordoned off.
Russia’s National Guard said Kazantsev used 2 non-lethal handguns adapted to fire real bullets. The guns were not registered with the authorities.
A criminal probe into the incident has been launched on charges of multiple murder & illegal possession of firearms.
Izhevsk, a city of 640,000, is located west of the Ural mountains in central Russia.

WEATHERFORD, Texas (Fox7) - A 12-year-old Weatherford girl and her father have been hospitalized with gun shot wounds after sheriff's deputies say the girl plotted for weeks with a friend to murder their families.
Parker County Sheriff Russ Authier says the deputies were called to a shooting with a 12-year-old girl lying in the street with a gun shot wound to the head, her 38-year-old father was found in the house shot in the abdomen.
Investigators believe the girl shot her father, fled the scene and then shot herself.
Both the girl and her father were flown to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
The Parker County Sheriff's Office says they later discovered the 12-year-old had planned to murder her family and pets with another young girl from Lufkin.
The Lufkin girl also planned to murder her father, but decided not to go through with it, according to deputies.
Investigators say the girl planned to drive to Lufkin and run away to Georgia with the second suspect.
The Lufkin girl has been charged with criminal conspiracy in the planning of the murder plot by Parker County.
Lufkin Police are also investigating the incident.
"Due to the injuries, the age of the juveniles and the sensitive case matter, information released regarding this case will be limited," said Sheriff Authier.

HOUSTON (KHOU) — Houston police said they've arrested a second suspect in the shooting death of a boy killed for his shoes in May.
Both 17-year-old suspects are charged with capital murder in the death of 14-year-old Axel Turcios. He died a day after he was gunned down at an apartment complex on May 6.
Abdon Enriquez was arrested Thursday after a months-long investigation that included a $25,000 reward. Ramiro Hernandez was arrested in July.
Before he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, Axel allegedly told investigators the assailants demanded he hand over his shoes before they shot him.
"A 14-year-old kid, an innocent kid, his whole life ahead of him, Lamar High School student, it's senseless," Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said at a news conference on May 19. "It makes no sense and it angers me."

Three former police officers in Stoughton, Massachusetts, had inappropriate sexual relationships with a young woman who died by suicide last year after becoming pregnant, the department's chief said Friday after a lengthy internal investigation revealed the "serious misconduct."
Stoughton Police Chief Donna McNamara said the information was "deeply troubling as a human being & a police chief" in announcing what happened to Sandra Birchmore, who met the 3 officers as a teenager through the department's youth explorers program.
Birchmore was underage when 1 of the relationships began. Birchmore became pregnant & died by suicide in February 2021. Investigators say there was no foul play in Birchmore’s death.
The 3 Stoughton officers accused of having inappropriate relationships with the 23-year-old are Matthew Farwell, William Farwell & Robert Devine. All resigned before they were interviewed as part of the investigation.
"She was failed by, manipulated by & used by people of authority that she admired and trusted right until her final days," said McNamara, who appeared troubled by what was uncovered by the probe, which involved outside investigators. "Birchmore was a vulnerable person. One constant in her life since childhood: her unwavering admiration of police officers, of those serving military, people in uniform, people with oaths & duties to protect & serve. The admiration led her to form relationships with men who were willing to take advantage of her."

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say they are seeing more carjackings in "suburban style" neighborhoods of Philadelphia as suspects become more brazen.
On Monday, a carjacker stole an SUV from a driveway as a mother and daughter were headed out for work and school in Northeast Philadelphia.
The man carrying a gun, wearing all black and purple surgical gloves, is seen on video lying in wait. He jumped out from behind a neighboring car to carjack the mother and daughter.
The suspect drove off in the SUV. Police say the victims were not injured.
