Dr. Dre is coming clean about his past transgressions against women.
The 50-year old super producer attacked former television personality Dee Barnes in 1991 at a record release party. He pleaded no contest. As a result he was placed on two years' probation, ordered to perform 240 hours of community service and had to produce an anti-violence public service announcement.
Michel'le
Singer Michel'le Toussaint, the mother of Dre's 24-year old son, has been very vocal about the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of the Aftermath Entertainment CEO.
In a new interview with the New York Times, Dre apologized, saying that he's now a changed man.
“Twenty-five years ago I was a young man drinking too much and in over my head with no real structure in my life. However, none of this is an excuse for what I did. I’ve been married for 19 years and every day I’m working to be a better man for my family, seeking guidance along the way. I’m doing everything I can so I never resemble that man again. I apologize to the women I’ve hurt. I deeply regret what I did and know that it has forever impacted all of our lives."
Apple, where Dre works as a consultant also issued a statement
“Dre has apologized for the mistakes he’s made in the past and he’s said that he’s not the same person that he was 25 years ago. We believe his sincerity and after working with him for a year and a half, we have every reason to believe that he has changed.”

Scott Leader and Steve Leader.

(CNN) "Donald Trump was right," the two men said, according to police, as they beat a homeless man with a metal pipe and then urinated on him. "All these illegals need to be deported."
Hours later, Trump responded -- with regret and then some.
While the Republican front-runner had not heard about the particular incident when reporters asked him about before a town hall event Wednesday night, he nonetheless said it would "be a shame." But he didn't stop there, as he quickly went to applaud those who echo his views.
"I will say, the people that are following me are very passionate," Trump said. "They love this country, they want this country to be great again."
The two men, identified by police as Scott Leader, 38, and his brother, Steve Leader, 30, were being held in jail without bond Thursday. Authorities say they were on their way home from a Red Sox game when they came upon the victim sleeping near a train station, according to a police report.
Witnesses told police that the two men beat the victim with a metal pole repeatedly and walked away laughing, according to a press release from the Suffolk County District Attorney's office.
The elder Leader brother, Scott, later told police they attacked him because he was "homeless," "Hispanic," and an "illegal immigrant."
The victim told police that he awoke to the men urinating on him. He was brought to Boston Medical Center to be treated for a broken nose and serious bruising across his ribs, among other injuries, the press release said.
The victim is not undocumented, according to a Social Security number for the man listed in the police report but blacked out for privacy reasons. Social Security numbers are issued to U.S. citizens and authorized workers, according to the Social Security Administration website.
The Leader brothers, facing a number of assault and battery charges as well as gross lewdness, were ordered to be held without bail Wednesday, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. They are expected back in court on Sept. 3.
Calls to their lawyers were not immediately returned Thursday.
The physical attack comes after Trump's divisive immigration proposals have made international headlines in his White House campaign.
Trump has called for a wall to be built along the U.S.-Mexican border, revoking citizenship of babies born in the U.S. to undocumented parents and deporting undocumented immigrants.
"I have to do the right thing," the mogul said in an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo Wednesday, when asked about his immigration plan being under fire.

Hollywood revolves around the power of the dollar, which would explain why a new film following the careers of several of the most influential artists to come from the West Cost is on the way, according to Daz Dillinger.
Straight Outta Compton is a box office success. A new film titled Dogg Pound 4 Life is now in the planning stages.
TMZ reports that the film will pick up where Straight Outta Compton left off. It will center around the careers of Tupac Shakur, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound and Nate Dogg.
Daz says it will also show how gangs have influenced the music industry.
Ice Cube has reportedly given his blessing. So far the only confirmed cast member is Curtis Young, who will play his father, Dr. Dre.
None of the cast members from Straight Outta Compton will appear in Dogg Pound 4 Life.
The story of Death Row Records and Suge Knight will at least have to be told in part because of the success the artists achieved while on the label. However, Suge no longer owns the catalog of music from those days, so his permission won't be needed.
Hopefully 2Pac's mom, Afeni Shakur, who owns the rights to her son's music and eOne, the company in control of Death Row Records' music vault will sign off on the film.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Caitlyn Jenner could face a vehicular manslaughter charge after sheriff's investigators found she was driving unsafely when she caused a chain-reaction crash that killed a woman last February, officials said Thursday.
Investigators found that Jenner was driving "unsafe for the prevailing road conditions" when her SUV rear-ended a Lexus, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said.
Their investigation found that speed was a factor, considering the existing traffic conditions, Nishida said. Daniel W. Vomhof, an accident reconstructionist, said the additional weight from towing a loaded trailed makes it more difficult to stop a vehicle quickly and can surprise people.
Jenner was hauling an off-road vehicle on a trailer behind her Cadillac Escalade on Feb. 7 when she steered to avoid cars slowing for a traffic light in front of her on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Jenner was unable to stop in time and her SUV rear-ended two cars, pushing the Lexus into oncoming traffic and also hitting a Toyota Prius. The Lexus driver, 69-year-old Kim Howe, was killed when her car was struck head-on by a Hummer.
The case will be presented to prosecutors for final review by the end of August, Nishida said. The district attorney's office will determine what charges Jenner ultimately faces.
If convicted of such a charge, Jenner could face up to one year in county jail. Jenner's attorney Blair Berk declined comment.
Because Jenner has no prior record, it's unlikely she would face any jail time if prosecutors charge her with vehicular manslaughter and she's convicted, said Daniel W. Vomhof, an accident reconstructionist who's testified in 3,500 cases.
He said Jenner would more likely face a fine or probation — or even an ultimately lesser charge such as driving too fast for conditions.
Vomhof said Jenner's experience towing a loaded trailer may come into play in determining what's ultimately charged, as well as how detailed the police investigation was in recording speeds and distances at the accident scene.
The fatal crash occurred months before Caitlyn Jenner's transition. She was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, the 1976 Olympic decathlon champion and Kim Kardashian's stepfather.
Howe's stepchildren have filed suit against Jenner claiming they've suffered enormous damages.
The lawsuit by Dana Redmond and William Howe does not specify how much they are seeking. They claim Jenner was negligent when she collided with their stepmother's car, causing them and other relatives "great losses."
Attorneys for Howe's step-children, Dana Redmond and William Howe, did not immediately return email messages seeking comment.
Another woman, Jessica Steindorff, who was driving the Prius, also filed suit seeking unspecified damages. A phone message for Steindorff's attorney, Brad Simon, was not immediately returned on Thursday.
Jenner's transition has played out in public over the past several months. She's vowed to use her to celebrity platform to urge acceptance for others who are transgender.
