Blanca Arellano traveled 3,000 miles to finally meet her online boyfriend after sustaining a long-distance relationship for months. What was supposed to be a romantic first meeting quickly turned into a gruesome tragedy as the woman was murdered, decapitated & her body was dismembered by the killer who harvested her organs.
For months, Mexican citizen Arellano had an online relationship with Juan Pablo Jesús Villafuerte from Peru. The couple reportedly struck up a relationship through online video game groups during the pandemic. In July, 51-year-old Arellano finally decided to meet 37-year-old Villafuerte in person & traveled 3,000 miles to Peru.
Arellano's family believed that “their relationship was going very well,” according to her niece Karla Arellano. However, all communications between Arellano & her family back home in Mexico completely stopped on Nov. 7.
The family contacted Villafuerte – who is a medical student.
“He argues that on Sunday my aunt decided to return to Mexico,” Arellano's niece wrote on Twitter. “They were in Huacho & she left for Lima by her own means to later go to Mexico but that has not happened.”
On Nov. 9, a local fisherman discovered a faceless head floating in the waters of the port town of Huacho, Peru. A human arm, a finger & a torso missing organs were also reportedly found.
On Nov. 17, Villafuerte was arrested & is suspected of harvesting Arellano's organs.
Peru General Attorney Zoraida Ávalos said in a statement, "Juan Pablo Villafuerte was arrested on charges of human organs trafficking."

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A drive-by shooting in Nashville on Saturday injured 2 people as they and others were walking out of church from the funeral of a woman who was fatally shot earlier this month.
Metro Nashville Police Department spokesperson Don Aaron said the afternoon shooting occurred outside New Season Church, where a funeral service had just ended for 19-year-old Terriana Johnson. The hearse was parked out front with the rear door open & people were filing out of church as the shots began.
Police say they are on the lookout for a black late-model Honda Civic with a temporary tag, from which one shooter or more fired as the car passed by, hitting an 18-year-old woman in the leg & a 25-year-old man in the pelvis. Neither were considered life-threatening injuries.
Some attendees of the funeral services for Johnson — who was not a member of the church that was hosting — were armed and fired back at the car.
The shooting occurred before Johnson’s body was brought out of the church & her burial took place later in the afternoon.
Authorities remain on the lookout for a 17-year-old charged with criminal homicide in Johnson’s fatal shooting on Nov. 14 at Watkins Park. Police allege that the teen opened fire on a car in which Johnson was riding after Johnson & the suspect’s sister were involved in a fight moments earlier.
Aaron said the shooting “appears to be some type of beef between 2 groups of people,” but not necessarily between members of the 2 families.
“This was just a brazen shooting,” Aaron told reporters. “These persons have no regard for human life at all.”

A Texas teacher & 2 aides have been arrested for allegedly abusing a 5-year-old special needs boy in 2021.
3 instructors employed at the Liberty Independent School District were taken into custody in mid-November for alleged crimes committed during an alleged shocking incident on April 15, 2021. Teacher Melody Michel LaPointe, 47, & teaching assistants Tarah Michelle Tinney, 33, & Augusta Danielle Costlow, 27, were charged with 4 counts each of abandoning or endangering a child in imminent danger of bodily injury, a second-degree felony.
All 3 women were booked into the Liberty County Jail & their bond was set at $60,000 each. All 3 are reportedly out on bond.
The teacher & aides are accused of isolating a special needs student in a room at a Liberty Independent School District facility. The 5-year-old boy was deprived of food & began eating his own feces & drinking his own urine.
The 3 instructors were reportedly responsible for the care of the young victim.
The indictment identified the victim as "R.W.," & stated the instructors “intentionally abandoned [R.W.] in a place under circumstances that exposed [R.W.] to an unreasonable risk of harm & under circumstances that a reasonable person would believe would place the child in imminent danger of death, bodily injury, or physical or mental impairment.”
Law & Crime reported, "The document explains that the alleged conduct involved confining R.W. 'to an isolation room where he fell causing bodily injury' & then failing to 'voluntarily deliver the child to a designated emergency infant care provider' as required by law."

(Local10) – A former college student who randomly killed a Florida couple in their garage 6 years ago & then chewed on 1 victim’s face goes on trial Monday, with a judge deciding whether he goes to prison for life or to a mental hospital.
Austin Harrouff, 25, has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to 2 counts of first-degree murder & other charges for his 2016 slayings of John Stevens, 59, & his 53-year-old wife, Michelle Mishcon Stevens.
If convicted, Harrouff will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. If Harrouff is ruled insane, Bauer will commit him to a mental hospital until doctors & a judge agree that he is no longer dangerous.
2 mental health experts, 1 hired by prosecutors & 1 by the defense, examined Harrouff & found that he suffered an acute psychotic episode during the attack. They also found that he couldn't distinguish between right & wrong.
Prosecutors then hired a 2nd expert who said Harrouff was sane, but withdrew due to health issues. They now have a third expert who believes Harrouff was on a drug that didn't appear in post-arrest tests.
Harrouff told his dad that he was escaping a demon.
Harrouff did not know the victims. He was a 19-year-old with no criminal record. He stripped nearly naked & attacked the couple in their open garage with tools that he found there. When police arrived, Harrouff was biting chunks off John Stevens' face.
It took took several officers, an electric stun gun & a police dog to subdue Harrouff. Officers didn't shoot him because they feared hitting Stevens.
Harrouff nearly died from chemicals he drank in the garage, which burned his digestive system.
Investigators found he purchased some hallucinogenic mushrooms a few days before the attack, but friends said he destroyed them & no trace was found in his blood.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (AP) — The Walmart supervisor who fatally shot 6 co-workers at a store in Virginia bought the gun just hours before the killings & left a note on his phone accusing colleagues of mocking him.
“Sorry everyone but I did not plan this I promise things just fell in place like I was led by the Satan,” Andre Bing wrote on a note that was left on his phone.
Police said the 9 mm handgun used in the Tuesday night shooting was legally purchased that morning & that Bing had no criminal record. They released a copy of the note found on his phone that appeared to redact the names of specific people he mentioned.
It was not clear when the note was written, but in it Bing claimed he was harassed & said he was pushed to the brink by a perception his phone was hacked.
He wrote, “My only wish would have been to start over from scratch & that my parents would have paid closer attention to my social deficits.” Bing died at the scene of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Coworkers of Bing who survived the shooting said he was difficult & known for being hostile with employees. 1 survivor said Bing seemed to target people & fired at some victims after they were already hit.

Kanye West took alt-right extremist Nicholas Fuentes to dinner with former president Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, according to details shared by West on Twitter on Friday.
West, now known as Ye, revealed Fuentes's attendance at the dinner by publishing a text chat discussing the meeting that included the 2. On Wednesday, a tweet by Right Wing Watch showed footage of West walking through Miami airport accompanied by Nicholas Fuentes, who is described by the Antidefamation League as a white supremacist.
"Trump is really impressed with Nick Fuentes," because he was a loyalist, West said in a video of him & right-wing activist Milo Yiannopoulos.
West was critical of Trump for not having worked to release rioters arrested & convicted for their involvement in the January 6 Capitol incident. The rapper said that Trump had insulted his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.
West also explained that Trump would be held to keeping his policies based off of the bible.
West asks Trump to be his vice president. The former president was himself upset by West at the dinner.
"I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about — me asking him to be my Vice President," said West.
Trump reportedly screamed at West, telling him "you're going to lose."
Based on previous tweets in which West said he asked Trump to be his running mate, it had been assumed by many that West would seek to be Trump's vice president, but based on the Friday video, Ye is seeking the reverse. He had published a poll, "What you guys think his response was when I asked him to be my running mate in 2024?"

Mexican prosecutors issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the death of an American woman who was vacationing at a luxury resort in San José del Cabo.
“This case is fully clarified, we even have a court order, there is an arrest warrant issued for the crime of femicide to the detriment of the victim & against an alleged perpetrator, a friend of her who is the direct aggressor,” Daniel de la Rosa Anaya, a local prosecutor said.
Shanquella Robinson’s death was originally thought to be alcohol poisoning, but a death certificate revealed the cause of death was a “severe spinal cord injury & atlas luxation,” an instability of the first two neck vertebrae.
Footage previously emerged that showed Robinson being beaten inside a hotel room with Robinson’s mother, Sallamondra, telling the news station she recognized people in the video as friends who went on the trip with her daughter.
Reports initially indicated the 25-year-old died 15 minutes after her spinal injury, but Robinson might have actually been alive & received medical care for several hours before she was pronounced dead.
Dr. Karolina Beatriz Ornelas Gutiérrez said Robinson had “drunk a lot of alcohol,” & was dehydrated & unable to talk, but had stable vital signs.
When Gutierrez wanted to take Robinson to a hospital, the victim’s friends insisted she be cared for at the villa.
Robinson later suffered a brief seizure & her condition worsened before her heart stopped beating & police arrived.

Ex-magazine columnist E. Jean Carroll sued Donald Trump for battery & defamation under a new New York law that allows adults alleging sexual assault to bring claims years after the attack.
Carroll filed the lawsuit Thursday, the first day that civil lawsuits can be brought under the new law, the Adult Survivors Act, which gives adults a 1-year window to file a claim.
The lawsuit is the second Carroll has brought against Trump, but the first to seek to hold him accountable for battery for allegedly raping Carroll in the dressing room of a New York department store in the mid-1990s. The lawsuit also alleges a new defamation claim based on statements Trump made last month.
Carroll is asking a judge to order Trump to retract his defamatory statements and award compensatory, punitive & exemplary damages in an amount to be determined at trial.
In 2019, Carroll sued Trump for defamation after he denied her sexual assault allegation, said he never met Carroll, that she wasn’t his type & that she made up the story to boost sales of her new book.
“I don’t know this woman, have no idea who she is, other than it seems she got a picture of me many years ago, with her husband, shaking my hand on a reception line at a celebrity charity event. She completely made up a story that I met her at the doors of this crowded New York City Department Store & within minutes, ‘swooned’ her,” Trump posted on his social media platform Truth Social.
If the 2019 case is dismissed, the defamation claims from 2022 would not be impacted since Trump was not a federal employee last month when he made the new statements.
