Video After The Jump

Hip hop fans and other artists in the business don't know what to make of Slim Jesus. The 18-year old Hamilton, Ohio native became a sensation almost overnight with his music video for "Drill Time."

The video is filled with Chicago Drill music influences. From the guns being flashed, to the gangster lyrics Slim is spitting.

12351756655?profile=original

In a new interview with VladTV, Slim acknowledged that he doesn't actually live the life he raps about and said the guns in the video were props.

The fledgling rapper deserves respect for being honest, but there are a lot of rappers who actually live that lifestyle that will probably test him.

During an episode of Complex's Well Rounded, The Game offered his opinion.

"I think that Slim Jesus either really better be fucking kidding or he's gonna get his ass smoked," Game said. "I worry about kids these days rapping about stuff that they're really not about. It's cool...it's dope. I saw Slim Jesus and I thought it was cool. I thought it was dope. I was like, 'Shit, there's a white boy with fucking guns and he's ready to kill shit.' Then I saw the [Vlad TV interview] and he was like, 'I don't really do this.' It's too late. And you got people that are really doing that, that are offended."

Should SJ put down the guns and be himself? Or do you consider it all to just be entertainment?

Video After The Jump

(NY Daily News) A south Florida man charged with murdering his girlfriend admitted to disemboweling her with his bare hands after she twice cried out her ex-husband's name during sex, police said.

Self-admitted "monster" Fidel Lopez, 24, said he flew into a drunken rage after she cried out the other man's name during rough sex inside of their Sunrise apartment's closet early Sunday morning, according to a police report obtained by the Sun Sentinel.

He then returned to 31-year-old Maria Nemeth, who was lying unconscious on the floor, and proceeded to sexually mutilate her -- first with various objects, then by inserting his arm into her, up to his elbow.

Once inside he said he proceeded to rip out part of her intestines.

In extremely disturbing details, police say Lopez admitted to shattering a sliding glass door, punching holes into a wall and ripping a closet door off its hinges.

He then returned to 31-year-old Maria Nemeth, who was lying unconscious on the floor, and proceeded to sexually mutilate her -- first with various objects, then by inserting his arm into her, up to his elbow.

Once inside he said he proceeded to rip out part of her intestines.

Neighbors said they heard a man yelling and loud noises for about two hours coming from the apartment, which the couple had shared for about a week.

Before calling 911 just after 3:30 a.m., Lopez said he carried her body to the bathroom and splashed water on her face in an attempt to revive her. He then washed his hands, had a cigarette break outside and called cops to say his lover was not breathing.

When police arrived at the home, they found him crying for help next to her naked body. Blood and bodily tissue covered the floor and walls. A bottle of tequila and sliced limes were seen in the kitchen.

Lopez initially blamed her death on rough sex. During a court appearance Monday he told a judge, through an interpreter, that he'd been drunk.

He was charged with first-degree murder and ordered held without bond.

Nemeth's neighbors were stunned and horrified by the news.

They said she worked at the apartment complex as a leasing agent. That's where she met Lopez.

"Very gentle, very private. Soft-spoken young lady. We all loved her. Very pleasant young lady," Dan Carter told NBC Miami.

Skyzoo (left) and Smoke DZA talk ghostwriting

"It probably was taboo before, but now it's like a lot of artists...I don't wanna say are born overnight. But a lot of them, their pen game isn't where it's supposed to be," DZA said. "A lot of people need help."

Check out the full interview below and sound off. If you found out your favorite rapper didn't write his or her own lyrics would that change your opinion of them?

Harlem, New York rapper Azealia Banks melted down while on board a Delta flight from New York to Los Angeles on Monday, September 21.

According to TMZ, the 24-year old, known best for her many Twitter beefs and the song "212," became angry while exiting the plane. She attempted to pass a French couple who were in front of her and the man put up his hand.

Banks allegedly responded by spitting in his face, punching him in the face and clawing at his shirt.

12351746693?profile=original

Someone begins to film after the first incident as Banks demands that a flight attendant let go of her luggage.

Give me my bag fucking faggot," she says.

The rapper insists that the French passenger sparked the entire thing by putting his hands on her first. She defended herself via Twitter against the homophobic slur.

Witnesses on the plane dispute Banks' version of events. Police spoke with the French couple, but they declined to press charges because they are on vacation and didn't want any more trouble.

One of the UFC's most exciting fighters, Nick Diaz, was recently suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for 5 years following a 3rd positive test for marijuana. He was also fined $165,000.

Fellow athletes and fans have overwhelmingly shown their support for Diaz, calling the suspension way too harsh for a non performance enhancing drug.

12351753875?profile=original

“If one person tests for steroids, that could actually really hurt a person, and the other person smokes a plant that makes him happy, and he gets suspended for five years! Whereas a guy who could hurt someone so much that he could’ve died in there [and] he gets a slap on the wrist! It’s not fair. It’s not fair at all," said Ronda Rousey.

12351753478?profile=original

Diaz is now getting support from retired boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who was incredulous when told the news.

12351754300?profile=original

“Man, let that man smoke weed and enjoy his life,” Mayweather said.

What do you think of the NSAC's ruling?

Video After The Jump

It hasn't even been a month since Ohio rapper Slim Jesus has garnered the attention of just about everyone in the hip-hop industry, and already he's attracted haters and comparisons to legends. When asked how he feels about being compared to Eminem, the "Buck Buck" emcee says they only have one thing in common. "The Eminem comparison is literally just 'cause we're White. We don't make the same kind of music [and] I don't rap the same," he expresses. "People stay talking about, 'Yo, has Eminem tweeted you yet?' No, and that s*** probably won't happen 'cause we're on completely different, like, bars...I'm not lyrical, I'm ignorant."

Slim Jesus also addresses the fake pages that have instigated beefs between him and other drill artists. "Oh that Lil Mister s***, let me clear that up real quick," he begins, referring to the Chicago rapper who was allegedly sent a message by Slim. "That's fake pages, man...All I have is a Twitter, @TheSlimJesus, that's it. That's all - anything else is stupid."

You can also find out what you should do if you're attempting to sign him. "Everybody's gonna call me offering a check, but it's about what you can do for my musical side," Slim Jesus advises.

A Los Angeles woman has named Rick Ross in a lawsuit alleging she was raped even though she acknowledges the rapper didn't take part in it.

According to TMZ, the assault took place during Grammy weekend earlier this year.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe, says she met Rick and several members of his entourage at the W. Hotel. She accepted an invite to the Cannibus Cup and got into a van with the MMG boss, a man named Thaddeus "Black" James, a DJ, 3 security guards and the driver.

12350905252?profile=original

After drinking an alcoholic beverage the victim reportedly passed out. When she woke up 2 hours later she was alone in the van with Black.

She went back to Black's hotel room where she passed out again. At 8 a.m. she woke up and realized she had been sexually assaulted.

Doe accuses Black of raping her. She also names Ross because the van belonged to him and Black is his agent and should have been supervised.

Video After The Jump

Though Meek Mill got on stage in Camden, New Jersey and called out fellow Philly rapper Ar- Ab, him and his OBH affiliate Dark Lo didn't take it too much to heart despite firing back with a diss track. "Everybody that he talk to know my direct phone number," Ar-Ab tells us. "If it was any type of problem, any situation, you could've just called my phone and said 'Yo, it's a problem,' like a man. And then we could figure it out from there - however we gotta figure it out."

Ar-Ab - who has been given quite the look since Drake shouted him out on "Back To Back" - says these days, beefs end up a lot different compared to the way he usually goes about them. "You gotta worry about people screenshotting your text messages...I don't do stuff like that," he states. "I got killers, they don't do stuff like that." Him and Dark Lo also feel Meek's diss actually benefited them in the long run. "When he got on stage and said that, I wasn't really bent out of shape or surprised by it. But you know as far as rap go, I had to say my little s*** back. But it was nothing," Dark Lo tells us during this clip.

It looks like Drake and Future's collaborative project, What a Time To Be Alive, could go gold in it's first week.

What a Time was released on Sunday, September 20. Although it's currently an iTunes exclusive, industry insiders are expecting it to sell 500,000 copies right out of the gate, according to HitsDailyDouble.

12351752672?profile=original

That would push the mixtape/album past Lana Del Rey's, Honeymoon, into the top spot on the charts after only 4 days.

We'll know more in the next 48 hours and keep you updated.
